As far as I am concerned, Arteta hasn't done bad considering the resources at his disposal. No DM, no AM, just one winger plus a little boy, injuries here and there with a lean squad. When Ljungberg took over as interim it became clear to me how bad our squad is. For Arteta to steer thus ship is remarkable.

His real test is next season. If he wins the FA cup on his very first managerial stint, for me its a huge achievement.

I get your point, I know you're huge fan of his, You wanted him to succeed Wenger.

I just do not like the hype you heaping on him, The situation at like he's done some wonders, I feel he's done okay. And we need to see what happens with time.

Szobolozlai is not a nobody. He is the midfield engine room of RB Salzburg. Everyone was raving about Haaland, but Szobolozlai is the man behind the iron mask.
He will greatly improve our midfield creativity. Liverpool got Minamino, Dortmund got Haaland, Leipzig got Hwang. European teams are shopping in Salzburg.

Everything is not all about signing big names. You can still find good quality if search well. Liverpool bought Wjinaldum from Newcastle, and Robertson from God knows where. We splashed big (even though is on installments) on Pepe, look how average Pepe is.

Problem with Arsenal is that we don't move on quickly from bad players. Look how quick Chelsea moved Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zapacosta, etc on. If it were Arsenal, they would all still be here. That's the problem we have.

You're right jare, pampering of Wenger days have gotten to some of the fans, only if they know Chelsea and utd are far above us and we are now competing with Wolves,Leicester Sheffield,Tottenham and Everton for Europa.

Since Arteta took over and his boy out of the line up it’s been one funny negative stat to the other. If I bring out same stat for Emery, you would see how woeful he performed yet he was quiet during the period.

For what it’s worth, Xhaka has more points per match than Guen, Arteta has more points per match than Emery. We’ve conceded less goal per match without Guen and Emery.

He’s more of a fan of certain players and Manager than Arsenal.

I’m not saying we are there yet but I would have taken him serious if he kept same energy then

Guedouzi is championship standard, Torreira is not good enough. Lacazette is midtable. Emery is not good enough, Arteta is not glittering either.

Just checked some stats, Arteta won 33pts since he took over at mid season, that's 10pts more than what he was given to start with. 33pts on both halves of the season would make us finish 3rd.

That's really shambolic. The loss to Chelsea in a match we were winning 1-0 up to 75mins pained me the most, same with the Tottenham game that we conceded immediately we scored and then went on to lose the match.
We gave away too many cheap points from winning positions.
Our midfield cannot retain ball and manage game. They also have no goal in them. The defense is nonexistent. The likes of Holding, Chambers, Luiz, Sokratis are all Championship standard.
We don't create enough chances. I heard we are 13th on EPL this season, based on goal scoring chances created.
Our problem is too complex and we don't have the money to go out once in transfer market and fix them.

I like this guy already, very balanced.

Some of these monikers made us believe Emery was on the right path with excuses every match day, while he kept dishing out drab.

All of a sudden Emery is out, his main man is out of the squad as well, despite visible improvement in the squad that a blind man can see, even though he’s yet to have a summer window. They are now crawling out to spread negative vibes on the team.

Someone even dug out stats most that were bulk of Emery and recycled possession days. But when I talk about Emery they say I should leave him alone.

It’s just obvious some are actually fans of certain players and managers and not the club.

Why should we deceive ourself into any yeye improvement, The bad egg Guen was in the first leg 0-1 win at Olympicos. But when the team got knocked out Guen didn't play but its still he and Emery who was long gone fault for not being able to proceed against a side like Olympiacos in round 32.

It is your opinion, it's others to, air yours and move on.but No you won't move on. Until they open the yansh of people you rate and hype in the club.

If we scored more and still finished outside of the top 4 for 3 consecutive seasons, shouldn't that be a pointer as to where we need to improve upon? We are an average team overall, we lack quality in numerous departments and that is buttressed in our results. Consequently, expectiing us to score more than 3 goals a game to assure a W is desperately unachievable!

How many goals are our competitiors (Spurs, Leciester, Wolves, Sheffield, Manchester United and Chelsea) scoring per game and how many are they conceding per game? I said this before that I am worried we have successfully absolved the clowns we parade at the back of their blame and now sholdering it on the midfielders. The midfielders are now to blame for issues with our attack and defense. The fact that you even think our defense is average makes all the case.

Why we asked the forward to create and bury chances is because of PAL and the hype around them.

The season we scored well, we were close to 4th.
Yes, we might have conceded lots, but per game I'm sure highest we concede is 2. How often do our so World class forward score 2+ in a game or even create good goal scoring chances per game.

N.B, Ability to kill games off or dominate possession after 1/2 goals up plays huge role.

Our point is, the defence isn't worst as painted, it is average enough to make top4 if the midfield and attack is very good.
