kokaneprodigy: you keep shouting like anyone has hyped up Ozil this season. Baba check around, even on this thread, they said our away form was due to ozil,s absence, that we lacked creativity. And him behind Aubs and laca means goal galore. |

MrDojo: Bro, I'm not decamping. But I can't watch that their nonsense again this season. I'll rather watch paint dry.
When we were arguing a few months back that Ozil is not a modern day 10, see how people wanted to eat me raw. Shebi we can see it for ourselves now.
Laca and Auba for all their quality miss too many chances... It's just too much. I support the guy that said we should sell one of them... In modern football, how many top teams have two top strikers in their peak?
Most of the top teams now, play with wingers (fast and strong wingers) and hard-working midfielders. Like someone said, the no 10 role is basically dead in modern football. Every caoch is looking for players that can attack and defend. Nobody has time for luxury players anymore (unless you're a Messi or Ronaldo).
Another thing, imagine if we gave Saka, Amechi, Nelson and ESR the chance to play this season, I believe they would have done better than. Miki, Ozil and Iwobi. I may be wrong though, but those guys are natural wingers, and from what I've heard/read, tops teams in Europe are waiting to snap them up. Especially those German teams. They are all looking for the Next Sancho You have said it all, I remembered how the ozil fans were singing earlier in the season ,we missed his creativity this and that, Chelsea ditched even a stronger fabregas and now they are back to UCL. Ozil can't move us up again, his style of play era is gone, modern football requires you to run, attack with purpose, spray wicked passes, shoot on goal and be sharp/ strong on the ball, ozil isn't that. We need a fekir and 2 classy wingers and everything will normalise |

pazienza: As for Xhaka, those who know me here knows my opinion about him. Dude is not EPL standard. Arsenal died the day Carzola got injured against Ludogerets in 2016 UCL group stages and we made Xhaka the mainstay of our midfield. That was the beginning of the end for Arsenal. We could no longer control midfield in crucial matches again. Coquelin who looked so assured playing alongside calm and skillful Carzola became disillusioned playing alongside Xhaka. Xhaka lacks ball control , under pressure he loses possession or simply plays the ball to opponents to counter. He is too slow and can't use pace to make up for his limited skill set. Our issues are complex and might not even be solved by next season. We lack midfielders and we have no defense. Wenger screwed us over. It will take years for us to clean his mess up, seeing as we don't have finances.
I'm hoping against all hope that we win Europa. So that Emery can get more fund to finance much needed transfers. The person that scouted Xhaka for us should be jailed or hanged, when we could have gotten Wanyama or Kante who are 17m AMD 30m respectively instead of a 35m waste. He should be sold to Qatar where he would be playing under hot sun on a gravel. |

pazienza: Finally, Auba crucial misses was always going to come back to bite us. Did anyone see his miss today. Very funny choice of execution that predictably sent the ball wide.
I agree, we have to sell one of Auba and Laca. Preferably Auba for me should be sold. A fan was arguing with us at the viewing center that Aubba should rather be praised for doing that zanku shooting, that it is a difficult angle, I just smiled The moment Auba scores his penalty or tap ins, he starts acting like drake and Lil Wayne, joking laughing like he's done an unthinkable and some fans also feel fulfilled, praises him like he's an igwe and can do no wrong again. His penalty lost at spurs still hurts and surely has cost us. |

solomonbrown64: ...Look, if you see how guys want kill Xhaka today eh...... Honestly, that guy apart from his shots offers the team nothing. Ozil's case will be interesting to see this summer. If we fail to win the Europa league and Ozil still manages to stay with us, then Arsenal is not ready. We are losing money and value the more we stay out of the champions league and obviously those two up there won't take us there. Fans on YouTube, Histagram, blogs even on front page say it as it is,They are factual and aren't blind my emotions, how we ended up from carzola, rosciky to Xhala remains a mystery. I laugh when fans say Torreira improved him, what a shame! We need to be ruthless and scrub him out asap. Oil is done at the big stage, he should go to panathinaikos or Aek Athens, he will be worshipped there. See Bernardo Silva at Old Trafford, very impressive, all this slow boring passing it about with no purpose wont take us there. Even Fraser looks scary and attacks with purpose. Failure to do the needful means we'll be back to struggling for 4th next year. |

Granit Xhaka from his first season turned us to an Europa FC, leads the most error leading to goal and scams a lot with his long range passes. 35$ when wengay could have gotten us a Kkante or wanyama, him mustaphi and ozil are serious issues that needs urgent address. R2bees: So annoying.. I don't have problem playing him in cup games, but a game we desperately need 3points u would see Emery starting him whilst Torreira sits on the bench.. WTF is that?? Bro, though I and few others have talked over and over on the Guen case. Some are adamant to either not understand or just to hate him. Nobody has said Matteo is a Pirlo, modric or Gerrard, Our sin is that we said free the lad from hateful words till he gets to iwobi, Ballerin age, like 2/3 years more before we decide fully if he should be sold, remain a squad player or a starter. I believe he hasn't done bad or the reason why we having a not so brilliant season. My grouse is we have bigger issues in the squad,we have some players who earn too much without doing much, we have some seniors who are too erratic and some who waste chances after chances that could seal things up. It is not the boy's fault Emery uses him instead of Torreira and xhaka, maybe he's trying to manage injury,as you can see Torreira and Xhaka has been nursing over the past few weeks. I decided to address this to you since we haven't talked about it before. |

BlueRayDick: Ozil is not a player in the mould of any of those players you mentioned. Ozil was a part of a world cup winning team(an influential member at that), Sanchez whom u mentioned plays better ozil on the pitch. We've seen them do amazing stuff together on the pitch in matches against loserpool and man utd etc.
Now u are talking about he not performing with Auba and Lacazette when u can clearly see he hasn't been getting much games like he did under Wenger.
One thing I detest is when people try to rubbish the past efforts of a player when he is out of favour with the management or something. Ozil may presently not be at his best, but that doesn't negate his previous positive impact he had at the club.
Saying some so called lots are disappointed in him is just not it. Shey those lots no jump up celebrate when he was dribbling ludogorets two by two or when he was tearing loserpool apart with Sanchez or when he was dealing with Conte alongside other players? OK sire. |

BlueRayDick: Who are the lots and what exactly do the lots want him to do? I mean what exactly was he doing in his previous club the lots expected him to do and he failed to do at arsenal?
Do we need to remind the lots how he passes the ball to Giroud and that one decides to pass instead of shooting? Or how he was instrumental to our FA cup wins? The lots wants to see Erickson,de Britney, Silva, carzola (I.e man the game) in him. He had his best assist tally with Giroud, now that he has Auba and laca, how far with him? Ramsey and Sanchez were more influential to our facility wins. I like ozil, but it's clear about 60+percent do not feel satisfied with him, unlike Rosciky Carzola and Fabregas. |
