All the people I personally know that studied there said they just went to get the certificate cos they are not taught anything but buy this and that.

The people you know said that because they were not serious. They only needed the Certificate and not the knowledge. This scenario can also be seen in other higher Institutions. There are lots of students that are serious in their studies and have come out with flying colors as can be seen in the graduation list every year.

Actually I intended to study medical course but due to the Nigeria factor, the admission isn't forthcoming.
I now intend to apply to apply to noun to study mathematics and computer science and further later as their admission is easier.

Pls how efficient is the national open University when it's comes to academics and studying?
What's other advice can you give me

Well, schooling in NOUN is easy if you are serious with your studies. You have made a right decision. Please push on with it as you are on the right path.

Good afternoon, pls can you educate me more on this virtual exam. My husband is a student, he has missed to semester exam becausehe was at work. This exam that started yesterdayhe is also going to miss it, pls is therea way he can write it from where he is, I willreally appreciate your response

Sorry about your husband missing out on the exams due to his tight work schedule.

Well, if he had registered for virtual exams, he would have been able to write it from the comfort of his office.

Virtual exams came up as a result of covid-19. The University had to develop this to allow students write their Exams at their homes, offices, etc (but on demand).

You can read more about guides on how to participate in virtual Examinations from this Link: https://edusportal.com/noun-guides/how-to-take-noun-virtual-exams-step-by-step-guide/

Please note that the above link was retrieved from eduportal's website.

I hope I have been able to help a bit.

PGD doesn't defend. So don't stress yourself. Defence is meant for only M.Sc; M.A. and M.ED.

Please submit your project at your study centre but take note it won't be sent for moderation as the project site is closed for uploading.
Prepare for your defense before November.

You have made a right choice.

NOUN Certificates are accepted everywhere because it is an accredited Federal Institution.

In academics, the school is okay because it allows you develop your study skill. In essence, most times you read on your own and write your Exams when it's time.

For this programme you are going for, you might spend up to 250k or even less.

Contact me on my moniker @gmail.com for further enquiries

this forum really helps alot.
am done with registeration, uploading and i have registered all my courses for the exams ..
please wat is the next action.

Print your Exam slip and e wallet and take them to your the store Unit in your centre so that books can be given to you.

Note that you might not be given all the textbooks of the Courses that you register. In that case, you can download the remaining materials online and either read them online or you print.

Begin reading your books and wait for TMA 1 which will commence 30th of this Month. Success
