Is it true that verification of new students will take up to two weeks?

Well it shouldn't be up to 2 weeks because study centres are now the ones verifying documents online. If you haven't been verified you can contact your study centre

Please my sister is an old returning student. We have gone to https://www.nouonline.net to login but it is saying incorrect password or user name.

Is there a verification to be done?

Go to nouonline.net, click students and click register. After filling the forms, click submit. Then click students again, click login then put your matriculation number and password to gain access to her portal

"For those who wrote the exams virtually and have seen their result, can go ahead and register for the second semester and those who have not written their exams and wish to proceed, can also register for their second semester as well. This is to be on the safe side, worry not, (you will definitely sit for your first semester exams once the lockdown is off on schools, which we hope will be soon, and then proceed to prepare for your second semester exams after that), this is to be safe, to avoid stories like registration has closed and all of that. The portal has been enabled for this double semester registration.

I sincerely wish you all, all the best. Those who can't afford registering for the second semester can hold on till when they can.

God bless you all."

Good afternoon all,

Please, how true is the above information?

Thanks

If you haven't written first semester's examinations do not make any payments, just update your portal only. But if you have written your first semester's examinations, you can update your portal and make payments.

If you registered as a new semester and you have uploaded your documents and haven't gotten your matriculation number, go to nouonline.net and look for 2020/2 verification slip, click it, input your RRR, then click submit.

If your study centre have verified your documents, your matriculation number will show but if they have not, contact the study centre for them to verify it.

Thanks in Advance

If you didn't register for exams last semester, then you have to register now. But if you registered your exams and did your TMAs, then wait for exams.

I'm still finding it difficult to get my credentials screened online o.
I don't know it will load and just disappear from the screen without notifying me whether it's been uploaded successfully.

Sorry sir for the late response. I was banned from commenting. I don't know why actually.

Well, please just be patient. The system is on maintenance and it will be uploaded. When you finally upload, you will have to wait for some days so it can be confirmed and your matriculation number given.

Good evening.

pls there is something that I don't understand about government jobs in terms of promotion. you know they have level and steps...my confusion is on that steps...the steps is up to 14-15.
Please I want to know how many month it will take before one can be moved to another step. or does each step mean 1 month? or 1 yr. I have not understood that step part very well pls

let's say I entered in level 8 step 2, and there is like 12 more steps I will get to before moving up to level 9 step 1. Now like how long would it take me to get to level 9 step 1

Steps is moved every year not monthly. It doesn't actually mean you have to complete the 12 or more steps before you move to the next level.

Promotion is done at least 3 years. Let's say for example, you started on level 8 step 2, in the next next 3 years, you should have been in level 8 step 5 and promoted to level 9 that same year
