May be the waiver for tax. Because FG made mention of waiver of tax on all Federal civil servant pay.

For where. So you believe this government. They talk and don't act

From my findings from reliable source, UNIBEN non academic that bank with UBA have received December salary since 25th this month. So hopefully other banks will get by tomorrow or next tomorrow. So it's not the fault of the federal government.

All FTI staff using UBA received salary on 25th

I just tire o. Which kine arrangement be that?

I don't think the government is the one withholding the salary. The government might have paid but the payment gateways of banks are closed due to public holidays and weekend.

Also, UBA probably opened their gateway that's why customers under them got their salary. It would have been better if other banks opened but no till tomorrow.

Not bank but govt. Banks don't withhold cash once credited by the CBN.

WE HAVE A VERY USELESS GOVERNMENT

Is it possible for government to send payment to only staff using UBA?

Good morning fam. Please is it true that they have accredited law faculty and they can now go for law school? Also how many years does the school give as grace for one to return and continue with their studies?

Yes it is true. In fact, the first set of law graduates going to law school from NOUN has been compiled and all their documents has also been compiled and sent to Abuja.

It is advisable you don't spend up to 5 years before you continue from where you stopped.

BREAKING: BODY OF BENCHERS OKAYS NOUN GRADUATES FOR LAW SCHOOL

BY EMEKA NWADIOKE

Nigeria’s Body of Benchers has approved admission of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) graduates into the Nigerian Law School, CITY LAWYER can authoritatively report.

The decision by the apex regulator of the legal profession in Nigeria was taken at its meeting held today.

There has been a cat-and-mouse tussle between the Benchers and the NOUN graduates, as the body had insisted that NOUN graduates did not meet the requirements for admission to the Law School.

Before now, all pleas to the Body of Benchers to resolve the impasse met a brickwall until today’s breakthrough.

More details shortly.

https://citylawyermag.com/2020/11/26/breaking-body-of-benchers-okays-noun-graduates-for-law-school/

This is so true as confirmed by a top ranking NOUN official. Victory at last for all NOUN Law graduates and students. Congratulations.

Hello everyone, please after MSc Project defense, what next? Will the study center notify us when to submit final binded copies of project? or does one have to keep following up with their study center to get information?

After defense, your project will be returned back to you for corrections. After corrections, you will make final binding and submit back to the centre. Contact your centre in order to retrieve the copy of the project you are to correct.

Good evening everyone. Please someone should help answer this questions as I am confused now.

Please, I just applied for pgde and I'm at the point of getting my transcript from my University. Do I need to wait till my transcript is sent before proceeding to my center? Do I need to print out the transcript form and what would I do with it?

Also, how will I get verified and have matric no?

Don't wait for your transcript. Go to your centre with your documents after uploading them online in order to get your matriculation number.

Good evening, kindly assist with the dress code if any for project defense. And any tip that can be helpful as I have a defense tomorrow and seems lost

First and foremost, dress corporately and have self-confidence. Prepare a power point presentation highlighting your major points in the project. Then go to the defense venue early enough.

Pardon my ignorance, is there a way we can know the total number of units you're supposed to pass to graduate and can you add more units to those courses displayed for first semester?

Yes there is. If you need it, send me an email at Fkj202004@gmail.com let me send you your faculty handbook. There, you will go through and know the total number of units you need to graduate.

Yes you can add second semester courses to that if you can carry it. Remember NOUN is flexible and it's flexibility depends on how you want it.

good morning my NOUN family, I applied for PGD public administration yesterday online and after filling form I was given RRR number to make payment. is it possible for me to use ATM to pay or I will have to go bank
2- is admission still in progress
3- any PGD public admin student in the house to guide me.
4- any ideal about all fees to paid for first semester.
many thanks to you all.
God bless.

1. Most Persons prefer paying through bank branch as you will attach a deposit slip to the RRR receipt. But if you can pay with your card, continue.
2. Admission process is fully on.
3. For your fees (PGD Public Administration first semester):
School fees = 35,000
9 core courses plus 1 elective course (10 courses) @ 2 credit units = 2000 x 10 = 20,000
Examination registration for the 10 courses = 2,000 x 10 = 20,000
TOTAL =75,000 ( for 1st Semester)

Dave0116:
please How much are those?
It depends on how many courses you are doing for the semester.

For B.Sc. Economics, these are the registration fees for 100level first semester:

4 courses @ 2 credit unit = 2,000 x 4 = 8000
2 courses @ 3 credit unit = 2,500 x 2 = 5000
An elective course which might be either 2 or 3 credit unit = 2,000 or 2,500
Examination registration is 1,000 per course = 7,000

Total = 22,000 or 22,500 for course and exams registration plus 36,000 for school fees = 58,000 or 58,500
