mediaresearcher: Hey Dumbo,
I'm a 2nd year PhD student in NOUN. I had my masters degree in NOUN as well.
I'm gainfully employed as a lecturer in a conventional university right here in Nigeria.
While you're here being hilariously ignorant, it may interest you to know that many conventional university lecturers rely on NOUN materials for their lecture notes.
Your worth and valuation is dependent on worth you can offer as an employee - not the name of your University.
Stop misguiding people. Do you know what? When i was studying in UNIBEN, I loved reading out of the box. Then, I will search for my course code and title on google and I will download materials and 90% of those materials are NOUN course materials which really helped me then because the materials were so straight to the point. |

Eddy my brother and coursemate from UNIBEN. I am so happy you ended with your girl from school.
May God continue to bless your union.
Congratulations brother |

Seaseason07: Former president? Hello! Listen to me. If you're in 300L in NOUN, and you drop out to start from 100L in a conventional University, no one will blame you for it. In fact, in 4 years to come, you'd thank yourself for taken that decision. I WILL KEEP TELLING AN ASPIRANTS TO STAY AWAY FROM NONU. No certificate from NOUN is useful. A certificate rejected from here In Nigeria? Nowhere in the world would accept it. In fact I keep telling any aspirant to seek an admission in either Federal or State University. Some certificates from private Universities in Nigeria are not accepted talk of la cram-la pour NOUN Called University. You'd better drop out now before is too late. Lol. NOUN certificate rejected? I can still prove to you 100% that NOUN certificate is accepted worldwide. Let me give you some examples, most nurses in over 80% of Federal Medical Centres who want to continue education (B,NSc) are either NOUN graduates or still schooling and I can tell you that all their certificates are used for promotion in their places of work. That is just an example. I can also give me so many examples where NOUN graduates have gotten scholarships and admissions to study outside the country using NOUN certificates. Go to National Assembly, a lot of workers and members of the house are either NOUN students or graduates. Ask those in paramilitary, Army, police, navy and so on, most of them especially their top shots are either NOUN students or graduates. What i am saying is that if NOUN certificate is irrelevant, then these people i used as examples will not even come close. NOUN is accredited by NUC and it is a federal institution just like any other federal conventional university but its mode of operation is different from conventional university. |

Seaseason07: Hello ! I will advice you. Stay away from NOUN. Don't waste your money and time. The advices you are going to get here is going to be a wrong one. No one here is going to tell you the truth. Remember one thing about WE blacks, when we make a wrong move, we won't wanna be alone, we look for more people do make the gonna talk good about NOUN of course it's a waste of time and money. Certificates from there is not recognized anywhere. Ask yourself, if you were to own a company, would you employ any graduate from NOUN? NO! Do not waste your time and money. Do a screenshot of this advice and keep it somewhere, get it back after your graduation. You will either cause me or pray for me. You are one of the students or outsider that thinks or feels NOUN's certificate is not recognized anywhere. It is a shame to you because I can give you 100% proof that NOUN's certificate is recognized worldwide. If you think it is a lie go and ask former president, Obasanjo. Stop spreading lies about what you do not know. |

Abyberry: Good morning everyone. Please I need advice. Between Uniuyo(online school) and Noun which is better? And to those who attended Noun please be very honest. Would you advise someone to attend the school? Is getting a first class viable? Do you have to sort before you get good grades? Can someone that runs a full time business comfortable enrol? I will answer your questions serially: 1. NOUN enables you to work or do your business while you learn 2. NOUN students do graduate with first class 3. You cannot sort anyone in NOUN. Thus, it was what you score in your TMAs and exams that you are given. 4. Like i said, you can run a full time business and school in NOUN. The only time your full presence is needed at the school is during your exams |

ThinkSmarter: That means that MSc defends project after undergoing moderation and plagiarism ? After you have passed plagiarism, you will submit to your desk officer while they submit for moderation when it is time. You will also be informed when and where to go for your defense. |

ThinkSmarter: Please, i heard that project is only for PGD and MSc students. Please is one required to defend the project and where if required. I am an Msc student of NOUN All students (Undergraduates and Postgraduates) must write and pass their project before they are considered for graduation. For M.Sc. Students, their projects are expected to go through plagiarism test at the study centre before they can be submitted for moderation when it is time. Postgraduate students except MBA, MPA and PGD students defend their projects. |

Spend 8 years because of project result? That is not true. I know students do have issues with their projects but not for 8 years? That is exaggerated. If you have issues with your project, go to your desk officer and the issue will be resolved even if it means contacting Headquarters on your behalf. I can prove to you that over 95% of students who spent more years on their studies in NOUN have 95% to be blamed.
Go to your desk officer if you have issues with your project and stop telling people NOUN delayed you in your PGDE studies for 8 years. Haba |

Taiwolee1: NOUN don fall my hand. Make they just pls release the 2021-2 graduating list and project results already. In short, had I knw I would have chosen another school for my pgd program because I'm regretting nw. Good day. I can feel your pains but know that the delay is for good especially for those waiting for graduation list. They are adding more names and they do not want to release so many lists that is why they had to take their time to compile as much as possible and release 2 or 3 more lists before convocation. For 2021_2 results, remember that exams finished 2 days before Christmas and so the delay is as a result of the festive period. My advice, be patient and if there is any course you know you want to register, please do before last semester's result comes out. If you were in conventional university, by now, you would have had a break because of ASUU strike (on a lighter note). Be patient please. |
