Adminisher: Structures ko, structures ni. Very boring rally. I am listening to Lamido speak in Hausa and it is long, long story. You need very long story to sell Jonathan in that place. Also why is it that it was Jonathan, Jonathan before but now it has become 'structures' in the north?. I don't think Jona is getting anywhere in the north. Buhari will lose his home state Kastina again to GEJ. |

[s] MayorofLagos: This is for my inlaws. I just finished meeting with Yellow not long ago, Ive dispatched him with message of felicitation and brotherhood to my in-laws in Ladipo. If you are here reading this and you own shop in Ladipo, pay attention. The exco in Ladipo will be relaying our message to you soon, I want to say before end of next week.
As you all know here, I consider it a great honor to be married to your daughter, Chinyere, a beautiful and charming young maiden from Imo state, the home state of great Igbo warriors and men of valor. Through this marital relationship you and I have become one, and I break kola with you and shout Igbo Kwenu!! I wish I can post personal pictures of myself and my wife and you see me in my own red cap. What troubles Igbo tribe troubles Mayor!
So as we come to this important event in next three weeks or so we must embrace this union and bring about a positivity out of it. Is there any Igbo here that does not love Mayor? Exactly, I didnt think so. You all love me and I love you even more. We must bring our heads together now and join hands together to continue the tradition of oneness and love.
What is the symbol of APC? The broom! Without insulting the intelligence of my lovely inlaws, the broom signifies togetherness, union, productive output, utility, renewal, efficiency, hygiene, bonding....all the good and great things which I hope my union with you through your daughter Chinyere shall bring into fruition.
I have heard in particular circles that certain people in Ladipo market are not pleased and want to vote against APC to register grievance against their shut out two years ago from this market. I know Igbo people to be peace loving, you do not hold grudges, so this has to be a rumour. You have had Babaloja there in Ladipo now for upward of a year and I read a letter written by Ike not long ago in which he poured adulations on the exemplary leadership and support of Babaloja, Alhaji Abibu Oki.
My people, on Feb 14th, we must stand as ONE! APC is the home of Mayor, I call upon you to stand with me and your daughter and we make APC proud, we bring a renewal, a bonding and a progress back to the land.
Bring every foot of an Igboman in earnest to thumbprint for unity and togetherness on Feb 14th.
Igbo kwenu! Igbo kwenu!! Igbo kwenu!!!
I love my brothers. [/s] Rubbish |

The truth is that no Imo State politician from any political divide can paste his poster alongside Buhari's campaign poster and win any elective post in the State including Gov. Rochas Okorocha - Fact Buhari will not get up to 2% votes from Imo. |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Thanks Imo Citizens For Boycotting Pdp Rally by FKO81(m): 7:32pm On Jan 18, 2015 |
[s] Abagworo: The Rochas Campaign Organization (RCO) sincerely wants to thank immensely the patriotic citizens of the State especially of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, extraction for heavily boycotting the party’s rally last Saturday in Owerri. It was a good development that Imo people mostly the PDP members expected to be at the rally stayed away because the party has shown that it has nothing to offer to Imo people. We want to also appreciate leaders of the party especially Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, former Governor of the State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, Chief Arthur Nzeribe and a host of other leaders of the party who also stayed away from the poorly attended rally. From all indications, Imo people, irrespective of their political affiliations appear more united now to tame the deceit of the PDP and must have also decided to call a spade a spade by resisting, in any way they can, further let-down by the PDP, otherwise there would not have been any other reason why only half of the stadium was occupied by guests in a rally the president of the country was in attendance. It was gathered that the majority of those who formed the scanty crowd at the stadium were the ones imported from Bayelsa and Abia States, because the buses dispatched to Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States to bring people came back to Owerri empty. It is also important at this stage to advice the chieftains of the PDP in the state to drop this lingering mentality of using armed people to intimidate and harass our people whenever they have function in the state. They should also stop the provoking practice of blocking all the major roads in Owerri whenever they also have any ceremony. The PDP as a party and its leaders were fond of doing all these annoying things when they were in power for twelve years. And one had expected them to drop such practices haven been out of power for almost four years now. But they are still in the business of exercising undue bravados associated with power. The PDP leaders in the State should drop pride and begin to follow the examples of Governor Rochas Okorocha who had more than one million Imolites gathering in Owerri, the previous Monday to celebrate him, yet no road was blocked by armed security personnel and nobody was harassed and no market was closed. We thank Imo people for strongly believing in Owelle and his Rescue Mission administration.

MayorofLagos: https://mypenmypaper./2009/02/16/introduction-to-ibo-tenanthood-wanted-yoruba-only/
I blogged sometime ago about my waka waka looking for a house. I’m still searching, and I spent my Saturday Valentine celebration with me, myself and I at Isolo, where an agent took me to see a 3BR. T’was my guy MD, who schooled me in my post: LoveNotes:Dowry Monday that took me to Isolo on Friday, Feb13th, house searching, but we couldn’t see the house, so I was asked to come back on Saturday.
I got more than what I asked for. After filling his form, and talking the property over, the only condition he gave me was that the landlord wanted only Yoruba tenants, and that since I said I was Yoruba, I was welcome.
In fact, this agent didn’t believe I was Yoruba, when I continued replying his yoruba-language questions in English. He had to ask for my ID card to make sure, and I had to tell him I was Obama’s Nigerian junior brother who couldn’t dish out the local lingo. I decided to ask this oga, ‘baba KK’ for this discussion why the landlord was so tribalistic, wanting only Yorubas as tenants. He gave me a whole lot of reasons, many of which made my day. I never imagined such things could be happening.
Wahala dey for this world o. P.s: I’m saying it like I heard it, no pun intended. The following are some Introduction to Ibo tenanthood lessons I received.
Ibos don’t send. They are eager to pay the first rent and pack into your house, but na wahala to collect every other rental payment. Even when defaulting to pay rent, after the first tenure(usually 2-years) expire, they will go and call their brother and sister in the police to make trouble with the landlord. They can even go to court because you asked them to pay their rent or pack out of your house. Then when court postpone the case up and down, wetin man go do? If you drive them out of the house by force, the wahala go dey for your head because they go say case dey for court, but they no go pay for your rent o. Ibo’s no get straight forward business, neither do they have a steady source of income. Even Ibo wey go tell you say na bank hin dey work, na lie. You better be careful of an Ibo man that tells you he’s a business man. See, my broda, even if Ibo man dey buy new new car, new new Jeep everyday, he will not pay you rent, and na wahala he go dey find. He go dey tell you say his container dey somewhere for Port Harcourt, and he dey wait for am, before he pay rent, yet if you see the expensive phone wey he go carry for hand, you sef go hala. Ibo tenant go rent your house, live there and make it a warehouse: an ibo tenant might soon convert his rented residence into an office, a store, a warehouse where he could store a lot of things: spare parts, electronics, even fish etc., or a mechanic workshop regardless of whether the house/apartment dey upstairs or downstairs.
I came in at this point to tell my agent informant, baba KK that I’ve never seen a mechanic workshop on the third floor of a building that was upstairs. He laughed and laughed and told me I hadn’t seen anything yet. He continued: ‘see, if house get 3rd floor, and you rent am to Ibo, he fit convert am to mechanic workshop’. Now that’s funny. See, business sense don destroy Ibo: Ibo tenant? they go rent your house, you go see them pack in, but you no go know when they go packout, and become their own landlord. He explained that its possible for an Ibo tenant to pack to another house and rent out your house to a 3rd party without your consent. Worse, they will now rent it out to another Ibo tenant, usually a relative. The new occupants will not recognize you as landlord, especially if you weren’t informed when your original Ibo tenant was packing out, and you’ll not be able to locate the person you originally rented the house to. At the end of the day, na police wahala, as you’ll be at logger-heads with the actual people living in the house, who will show you payment receipt of money that has not entered your own account, 1-year / 2-years after the original tenure of people you rented it out to expired. Ibo woman wahala dey too much: See, if Ibo rent your house and pack in, you better be careful if he get ibo wife. Na your own trouble, as landlord, wey that woman go dey find. If you get to your own house and see shit everywhere, and you ask the woman say, madam, wetin dey happen, why is this place like this? You know wetin she go ask you? She fit call you idiot for even talking to am in the first place, for even telling her to take care of the house wey she dey live? Dem no know how to use anoda persons thing well. If na their own, they go care for am, do am well, but if na for anoda person, kai, dey go use am as if no be human being dey live for the house. Wahala don start be that o, when her husband come, na wetin no happen she go tell her husband and then that one too go dey find your trouble. See, my boy, if Ibo use car, u no fit sell that thing for shinshin anymore. See, if someone come to me and say he wan make I help am find tenant for hin house, the first question I go ask be say, who the last tenant be? If he say na Ibo, I go tell am say I no dey do. If you see house wey ibo pack out from ehn, ah, God himself no go dey happy say na human being use house like that. You no go know whether na human being or na animal live there. In fact, if ibo pack out of your house, you go need to get bank loan to put the house in order before another person fit pack in o.
If you rent out your house to ibo, if Ibo do anything to that house, like put keylock, window glass, even nail for wall wey hin use hang his own picture for wall, he go remove everything when he dey pack out. Any kin thing no matter how small, dem go remove am. Ibo go remove the bulb wey he use last. If na him do electrical work, he go remove am, he go remove the electrical cable, and the way he go remove am ehn, na be say he and the house dey fight. See, if Ibo fit remove the paint wey hin use paint house, he go remove am when he dey pack out.
I laughed until I I was tired. The passion with which baba KK schooled me out of his own experiences was most amazing. All I could imagine was the face of whoever Ibo man/woman who had dealt with baba KK in times past. Honestly, I shed a tear. I was so surprised.
p.s: the Landlord is not a Yoruba man, neither is he Ibo.
In my mind, all I could say was ‘wahala dey for this country o’, and meanwhile, I could not help thinking about my guy MD, my Coz, and my other Ibo in-law on the way…how all these guys will fare, for going down east to take their brides, etc. So I asked baba KK if this landlord we were waiting for would accept a Yoruba man married to an Ibo woman as his tenants. According to baba KK, an Ibo woman who marries a Yoruba man is not Ibo. Now that was a stunner.
I rested my case right there.
Now, its time for you to speak up. With all the allegations against Ibo tenants listed above, which can you relate with? This silly man you have started you stupidity this morning, my response to one of your silly threads, do you think I can't create thread for it? Respect yourself and your region, you want to start what you can finish. I know that Igbos are your worst nightmare but try and control your hatered. |

I don't know about South East or South South, but talking about North Central and South West, Jonathan can only win Plateau, Benue, Ekiti and may be Kogi. Forget about Ondo, APC is very strong there and most people wont vote Jonathan. APC will have the majority vote with not less than 25% in at least, 20 states. What I can not tell, is if they will fulfill the 2/3 criteria. I can bet my life on this. And about the south easterners and south southerners populations in Kano and Lagos? Even if they constitute 95% of the total population, the 5% indigent population will determine the outcome of the election.
