I've been seeing visa approval for just graduated and doctorate applicants.... None for undergraduates so far, please does it mean our case is different?

I was so devastated that I nearly hit the door �....am 18 years, finish school last year..but my school resumed on 7th of January but I had my interview on 9th. I tried to ask her whether is because of the resumption date that I deffer my admission to summer but she said I can reapply..
please what went wrong. am planning to get a better course like journalism or economic...hope that won't affect me next time

to start with,northeastern university is nowhere near being a better school than uni of arkansas,telling the v.o northeastern uni is more recognized than uni of arkansas means u do not even know about the school u chose and the schools u applied to. Think about this,why did she not ask u did u get an adm in ohio state uni.....she just asked uni of arkansas because she knew the school has great worth! And u didnt really impress in 'why this course'
Try again....u are still young and make sure u still sit for ur JAMB. Do not put ur eggs in one freaking basket

So sorry about your denial dear. Your answers were okay and I will encourage you to try again and maintain consistency. But if I may ask, did you fill your DS yourself all through the times u have applied/ been applying? I asked because if someone else did, maybe they might have mistakenly inputted a travel history for you without you knowing it making most VOs to scroll through the pages of ur passport in search of a visa stamp. More so, I think with regards the question about your sponsor, you should have first stated who your sponsor was FIRST before talking about the funding. Remember the question was about WHO YOUR SPONSOR IS and not if you had a funding.

I have read your transcript over and over and I suspect it's about your response with regards your sponsor. Let us learn to Answer what we are asked FIRST before adding jara or better still leaving it at that

I may be wrong but this is my observation. Next time tell them who your sponsor is first cos VO may wonder, doesn't it mean u wouldn't have schooled or wanted to pursue your studies if u never got funding? Again, my opinion though.

I wish you the best. But please, do not give up.

Two things I noticed: When the VO was typing you shouldn't have talked about your father.In my interview,the VO typed for a while before asking me questions.Infact,she asked me to wait a bit.It is part of psychology...
However,a more productive interview should be more detailed and with clarity.It is more about knowing when to talk and when to keep mum.
Also,you shouldn't have asked to give SOA it shows desperation.This is why she said you should wait for her questions..Honestly,it is better to give document at the VO's demand.

Me: I was doing a research online on school that offers database administration as an option in computer science, TAMUC was one of the schools I came across.
V.O: Why do you want to specialize in Database administration?
Me: (I didn’t prepare for this, but I had to come up with something). Database insecurity is one of the major problems facing Nigeria at the moment, we hear every time about people’s account being hacked in and the issue of cyber-theft is not left out. All these challenges are cropping up because of the poor implementation of the database servers. I want to specialize in this area so that I can contribute to combating these acts.

Me: I applied to three schools, MTSU, Illinois state university and TAMUC

Me: SQL Injection is a technique used by Database hackers to add their own SQL code to the database via website input thereby making the database work out of the normal ways and work as they intended.

Me: My course advisor told me about it during one of our conversations.
V.O: and what did they find out after the research?
Me: The research is still ongoing, which is why am keen to know more about it.

Your scholarship is not reflecting on your sevis profile, update it and submit your evidence and passport to us via DHL. No need for you to come back here to submit. Go through the paper I give you and see what you have to do.

I just sent the updated I.20 today and the dhl said it will be delivered within 21 working days. Please any1 sent additional documents to the embassy recently, How long did it take to deliver it. The thought of that 21 days is killing. school starts on 10th January.

Pls how can someone secure appointment date? Because I see people begging to “release date” (lol). I saw 18th of December 2018 for Abuja and 24th of December 2018 for Lagos just for me to go and pay the visa fee and return but date have changed 2 of January 2019 and 11 of January 2019 respectively. My school resume 7th of January and all GA students are required to resume 4th of January.

My case exactly. The school states Jan 7th and 8th for students check in and clearance, orientation proper is 11th. Visa appointment date is 11th, and my request for an expedited appointment has just been denied.

At an EducationUSA meeting, a VO said something which u might find useful. She said and I quote "If we ask why did you choose this school don't go around and tell us how the school is the best school in America, we want to know why it's the best school for you as a student not why it's the best school in the world, almost all schools in America are great, you must have a reason for choosing a particular school"

studied civil engineering in uni (undergraduate) scored 287 in GRE, got admission to study civil engineering in Morgan state Uni Maryland, (masters), good hands(agent) helping with filling my form online, my father bank statement to be as sponsor, please enlighten me more on most likely questions and how exactly it might go, i have a date for dec 19 2018, resumption has to be before jan 20 2019. i have read a lot of transcript, i just want a good person to help and give me more lead and guide thank you.

For Gods sake.....why cant you people just leave agents out of this....It is not a big deal filling ds--160,u can do it urself,that is why you are students,unless truely u are not!
