I no wan talk before but I will talk maybe your body sef go calm down. Peter Obi knows nothing about governance. The only thing he knows is trading. I can show you a video where he said subsidy won't last a day if he's elected. He's not different from Felicity001, he talks and talks

1. Introduction of subsidy in Nigeria killed refineries. People earning from bunkery through refineries switched to smuggling of fuel outside the country.

2. You can't remove subsidy partially and think you will use half of the money to fix refinery, buy modular refineries bla bla, easier said than done, is it not the same Peter Obi that was forced to delete a tweet by his mob because he called Tinubu Mr president? The powers that be will frustrate his efforts. How will he cope with inflation, Labour pressure? How will he pay the new minimum wage? ASUU nko? He will only end up beating around the bush

3. Every subsidy removal comes with inflation and various Labour request including increase in minimum wage, which money will he use to pay the new minimum wage? The same money he wants to use for refinery fixing? Lmao

4. Port-harcourt and Kaduna refineries are currently being fixed. You can request for link sources. Dangote is 90% ready, Bua is coming up next year. Refineries don't mean fuel prices will come down. Another reason to say Peter Obi was yearning dust!

5. Removing partial subsidy still gives NNPC the dominance over oil marketers which is our major problem as many top people can cow the chairman into doing their bidding on pricing, supply etc.

You can argue with facts, I'm here. Tinubu is yet to make a wrong decision. When he does, I will be the first to carry a placard and protest against it.
Typical tinubu supporter. As usual, quickly changed the line of argument.

For your information, most of the answers to your questions and shalaye lies in the tweet I uploaded.

Hint: He won't buy modular refinery, he will support. Others are there, check it. But for a comprehensive explanation, check his manifesto.

Who would you have wanted as a president?

We won't have a discussion if you mention Kwankwaso. So I'm waiting, who did you vote for?
Maybe this will calm you down.

bedfordng:
what he is trying to say in layman's term is that you didn't use challenges in your URL when accessing the view

If you wish to just access the view from example

localhost:8000/January

Then you have to remove the challenges from the URL py file in the folder where settings is located.

So since you used

path("challenges/", include("challenges.urls" ),

Change it to path("", include("challenges.urls" ),
That would have given path error and django would have suggested possible path for him.
Programming / Re: Encountering This Error In Django: TypeError: 'module' Object Is Not Iterable by flam5: 11:30am On Apr 16, 2022
Just put comma at the end of each path() for your project url and app url. Eg

path('challenges', include ('challenges.urls')),
path('', views.index),

Programming / Re: Is Studying Computer Science In A Public Nigeria University Worth It by flam5: 5:17pm On Feb 20, 2022
Op, computer science(cs) is far beyond the python language you are learning. Do a proper research before you begin. I think people mistake cs for just programming, that is why they say it's outdated. You will be drilled in various aspects, with ABSTRACT maths as the foundation. You could see someone talking about how very hard leetcode is, maybe because he doesn't have CS background. Think about these things before making your choice.

Programming / Re: I Need Help With Django by flam5: 9:41pm On Feb 13, 2022
You need to do the below:
1. Create a detail view with either pk or slug parameter e.g
def post_details(request, slug):
#input your code

2. Use get_absolute_url() method in your template to link to specific post. In your models.py input the class method get_absolute_url() and pass in the argument based on the parameter you used (slug) in your post_details view.

3. Set the path in your urls.py e.g path('details/<slug:slug>/', .........)

4. Your template will look like
<a href = "{{post.get_absolute_url}}"> {{post.title}} </a>

Note: I didn't use pk because it's not a recommended practice for security reasons.

Offpoint1:

Divers done just dive into any water without proper preparation and surveys.
There are techs that detect sharks, these techs are deployed under water to scan the areas divers will be diving, from this they know the green and red zones.

If for any reason tech falls, sharks aren't aggressive creatures. As long as you're not bleeding or trying to attack them.
Wow! Thanks

Hi, I don't know if your question has been answered satisfactory because the first page of your thread is filled with Nairalanders usual crazes.

To your question: The water can be dive, reasons the bridge could be erected in the first place.
Visibility could be challenging in terms see far away to evade dangerous water creatures, but it's never a problem to divers. There are special gears meant for such water bodies, not only for visibilities, but also to protect divers against pollution.

The fear of divers isn't visibility, unless it's shark infested water... The greatest fear and threat to all divers is depth, due to pressures. At some certain depths, even modern equipment will suffer damages.

The water can be dive.
How do divers protect themselves from dangerous water creatures, like if they mistakenly enter shark infested water?

No need to abandon this project my sister .. you can do it and if you don't want to go ahead with it then let come together to work on this online mechanic workshop.. yes I can do it all alone but I just need a partner who can motivate me .. someone who can keep me going whenever I try to back off. There are things I have in mind which I believe it will make a lot of difference when we start.
Bro, you are not sincere with the challenges you are facing with your ideas. From domain issue to API and now motivation. This will be the major concern of your potential investors.
From your moniker, I guess you are a programmer. Why not make this a long-term project while working on other smaller gigs to raise fund. You can thereafter go for advanced training to have the know-how on implementing your ideas.

I addressed all 3 factors you pointed out.
Cost of startup is integral cos that to a large extent influences your break-even point. If I enter at a lower price point than you with marginally higher operating cost, I will most likely break even before you.
For perspective, it will take me 160 days of buying petrol of 5k daily to spend 800k on petrol.
Parts of the S40 as far as I know are at par or cheaper than the Corolla.
Plus build quality of both cars cannot be compared at all. Superior build quality usually translates to better durability.
So make of these what you will. Good thing you know how much a corolla costs and I've shown proof of mine.
Numbers never lie
Bro, you can't win argument with corolla guys. I suggest you make your detailed point and move on. You don't know how many people you have touched with your content.

Good evening my brothers and sisters here, I have been following this thread for some months now and I have learnt a lot. I want to seek advice from experienced drivers and owners here about my plan of joining this business, I currently base in Ibadan, I'm teaching in a private secondary School here in Ibadan with a poor take home of 33k in an effort to increase my income I got a chance of securing a loan of almost 1m. I'm now planning of getting a car for e-hailing business because I need to do business that can make me refund the money within 10 months but am afraid of going into this business, I'm planning of starting here in Ibadan but I can still relocate to either lag or abj. Please I want a sincere advice about this plan. Can I get a car around 1m that will not give me problems and will be able to pay back the money within the stipulated time provided that I drive by myself.
Brotherly, please if the money has not been transferred to you, tell them to hold on.
You don't take loan for a business you have not started. Loans are meant for established businesses. With that, u have a template of your monthly revenue + or - ..... u can then tell if u can pay back with interest.
Since u have a teaching job that brings something, why not be patient to learn new skills u are comfortable with. Ibadan is an emerging economy and trust me there are several silent millionaires there contrary to popular opinion about the city. They need some services that make them run to Lagos. Those skills will attract u to them. I hope I made sense?

Was thinking towards data science/analysis, the reason for the excel bible 2019. I know the horizon is broad but let me get comfortable with the python language first. Videos are okay but don't know why I prefer books.
Data science is cool. But companies expectation for that role is the challenge I have with data science. They will expect you to include knowledge of excel, SQL, power bi.... Except if you want to go into freelancing.
Yea, it's always Python language 1st b4 delving into the frameworks to avoid getting stuck and to be properly grounded.
Pls, always update yourself with industry demands to guide you in your choice and to get easy online support.

Every company has the right to make policies that will benefit their organizations. Their decisions can either make or mar them. However, there must be a striking balance and that is why we have regulatory bodies and unions for checks and balances. Everybody cannot farm, sell spare part, earn salary, do entertainment, do uber etc at the same time. Diversity is what makes an ideal economy. If we say people should leave a particular business because of challenges, how are we sure that they are not going to face bigger challenges in the other ones? Nigeria with her numerous challenges, are we all going to leave the country? How many countries will be able to accommodate 180 million people?
While I must commend bolt(even though they might have made up their minds) for doing a survey to source for opinions of drivers on bolt economy, I feel they should be sensitive to Nigerian economy. Recent devaluation of naira has made inflation rate rise above 12℅. Cost of maintenance of vehicles are seriously on the high side. It is funny that in Nigeria, we only adjust t.fares when there is increase in price of fuel neglecting other factors. For example, in more than a year, the price of fuel might be constant and automatically fixed t.fare, but within this period, the price of spare parts might have increased 2ce. That is why u see fine cars used for cabu cabu turns to rickety within months because drivers can't reach equilibrium with pricing.
My opinion: E-hailing needs good union.

Madam, please calm down. I think your marriage can be fixed. The bothering issue is the beating which I totally frown at. From your narration, what leads to the beating is when you insult him after being provoked. Please, try and avoid any form of argument with him. I believe its argument that leads to him calling you names and thereby, you insulting him. Having said that, let me make some points.
1. Your husband still wants to be with you. All the late nights, hanging with friends, avoiding sex is just to force you into submission. That is the only way to get you since he knows those things hurt you.
2. Your husband does not know how to talk. Calling you prostitute is as a result of his unbridled tongue. Ignore him. He can't stand you cheating. If he does, he won't be jealous seeing you talking to another man.
3. You want to enjoy your man, give him what he wants which is submission. Let him take charge.
It's not going to be easy but you can do it.
Also note that it might take time but with consistency, you will get him to be a loving man again.
All the best!

Are you saying our laws enslave our women? is there any part of the law that enslaves women? why are we quick to demonize our country? is there anything nigerian men are doing that the women dont have access to? Most times we talk, open threads on how to travel to abroad etc, some even do thanksgiving in church for getting a visa and somehow look at others as unfortunate for been in nigeria and i wonder where are we getting this mentality from? who told these guys people in nigeria are suffering while the ones in abroad are the fortunate ones?
And that is how some of my friends will come home and be sneaking/hiding from people as if we way they here dey hungry, even with your coming home i will still flex you and host you so what the fvck?
Like what the op said in his first statement that - ''leave that your native brain'' to HELL with him if he thinks he is better off than some here because he thinks like a native fowl too. Leave your yeye bride and bigboyism too etc
I dont know his family or background but i believe he his part of the people who scream ''moti bo - Am free'' when he got his visa at walter carrington in VI
