Nollywood actress and mother of one, Tonto Dikeh has reacted after she was spotted on a date with her ex man, Prince Kpokpogri’s best friend recently.

Netizens had varying opinions about her date with the gentleman, identified as Mayor and to clear the air, the actress has issued a statement.

Dikeh had posted some photos of herself, her son and a friend, Mayor who once during her squabble with her ex, Prince Kpokpogri, waded in to her defence

However, when a blog shared the actress’s photo with a caption that raised the eyebrow of users, she was left with no choice than to clear the air

The actress wrote,

“Online brothers and sisters he is just a friend oooo, una no remember when mr mayor come out come fight for me
Don’t worry I wldnt disappointed you people again”

Nigerian businesswoman Munachim Onyia has been declared wanted by the Interpol section of the Nigerian Police Force, following her involvement in what Peoples Gazette learnt was up to N5.3 billion investment fraud.

Before going at large, Ms Onyia had been running MECO Enterprises, a sole proprietorship she registered in September 2018, according to companies registration filings. She also ran IBC Africa, an investment firm, and the eponymous Muna Investment, a Ponzi scheme through which she allegedly swindled unsuspecting investors.

A warrant of arrest issued for Ms Onyia by the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court and seen by The Gazette said she is wanted for obtaining money under false pretence and pretending to be a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria

The Lagos State Police Command also arrested a marketing executive who was with bank at the time of the fraud. The police are looking into whether or not the executive acted alone or with the knowledge and approval of his superiors at the bank,

The Police have arrested a commercial driver suspected to be responsible for the death of a Vanguard Journalist, Tordue Salem.

The suspect, a 29-year-old commercial driver, Itoro Clement was paraded on Friday in Abuja.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba said Clement was arrested following an investigation carried out by the Force Intelligence Bureau.

He said Clement who was driving a 2004 Model Camry with number plate BWR 243 BK confessed to having hit Tordue at about 10:00 pm on the night of 13th October 2021, around Mabushi area in Abuja but ran away

Explaining why he did not wait after the accident; Clement claimed that the area where the incident occurred is notorious for criminal activities.

“The place I knocked this person down, is a criminal place everybody knows that place,” he said.

Salem’s body was found on Thursday, November 11, more than a month after he went missing.

An indigene of Benue State, Salem covers the House of Representatives and was last seen on October 13, 2021, a situation that led to protest and agitation by Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Abuja.
