realmindz:Good! You're really intelligent! We're learning from nature Now think through: Is it in any way possible that the raw materials used in the manufacture of anything would not have been in an earlier existence? |
realmindz:You're avoiding me? I want to clear the issue of the age of the earth ONCE AND FOR ALL. I have series of questions to ask you. Answer them sincerely. 1) which is older: a. The material used in shoe-making b. The shoes? |
realmindz:Don't abuse the Bible, at least, yet. It turns me off. Revoke the word 'tale'. |
realmindz:Dear boy, this is God's swordsman. You've made too much noise about the earth being billions of years old. Even if you're right, the Bible is also right. Are you willing to absorb the shock of my confutation? I don't want you to go mad as I attempt to dismantle your blasphemy. |
mirinda01:Nah. Hardmirror wants to know why creation reappeared. Don't worry. God's swordsman is here. We can use science to validate the scriptures if we are reasonable enough. There first question is: Could water had destroyed every organism? No. Could 40 days rain had destroyed fishes, and crocodile and whales, and the aquatic life? Logic should tell an atheist that rain can't kill aquatic animals, but an atheist would rather not use his commonsense. But there is a secret: 1) many organisms are water-tolerant. 2) creation didn't end after the garden of Eden. Psalms 104 29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. 30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. My God has power to create again the original things he destroyed. Fear not. |
realmindz:Which kind thing be this Na? Talking about the clean animals, how many pairs did Noah save of each? Hello! Please read Genesis 7: 1,2. |
realmindz:You need peace. ![]() How dare you drag me out of my heavenly Father's molly-cuddle to tell me errant nonsense, eh! I don't give much attention to NL atheistic team of engineers because they squeak like babyishly put up manufactory many times. Lack of proper basic education is your foundational problem, my man - I refer to the entire obfuscated atheistic community in this thin medium! Okay. Can you tell us the history and origin of atheism perfectly, because the fish-turned-frog belief of yours is worth defending with the last drop of your blood. Please, brief me on the stage by stage accretion of atheism. Mtcheew! Let me help your tiny jejunums. To depend on oral tradition as a mechanism for preserving history is beyond a historian's acceptation. Now coming back home, Can you precisely tell me who your great-great-great-grandfather was and any most remarkable thing about his life? If you can't, then commonsense should shut your mouth up. That's just one reason the flood story may not have been well preserved. Men's brains fail for many reasons and poorly keep God's judgements intact! But a more concrete reason is that the world of evil as ours doesn't keep the judgements of God in their archives. Excepting Israel, Can you point at any government that does this? Moreso, Satan would fight against such referrals that instill God's fear in men's hearts. Just like you doubt God today, they must have reasoned that since they weren't among the eight eyewitnesses, it could have been a fable to drive a wedge between them and their expansive desire to sin without limits. They of old couldn't keep the story perfectly because they seldom loved the holy God and His demands and couldn't condone the thought that He was going to roast the sinner in eternal fire. Don't think that there were no doubters and atheists back then, In case you don't know anything about your bird-turned-fish persuasion. And when are you going to evolve into a nobler organism? Evolution stopped since apes turned men, eh? |
johnydon22:Inbreeding was permitted by God as follows: He once gave them mana - free meal not toiled for. He later withdrew His mana, and from that time 'expecting free meal' became sin - idleness. He caused a mist to water the garden He made. But this was later replaced with rain. He, therefore, to meet the foremost blessing of creation, I.e, multiplicity, subdued the impact of inbreeding(I mean, legal inbreeding by marriage. God has never permitted adultery) So the earliest people could in-breed to that effect. It's not that the side effects weren't there. This I think He managed well/or healed by His power. But when man's numerical data improved, He removed the wedge of mercy in inbreeding in order that nature might have it's cause. And he forbade it among them, removing the clout of safety by that law. Understand that God's laws served three-pronged purposes: To safeguard the people from sin because of His holiness. To guide their civic life because of His orderliness and love of justice. To keep them from sickness as their Great shepherd and physician at what time His miraculous power reserved in the Saviour to come had not an exponential representation. By virtue of the third purpose he made them several laws - of abstinence from some food, infectious diseases and inbreeding. But the grandest reason He gives us laws is to prove if we love Him. His laws aren't grievous; and to Love Him is worth it. So, for whatever purpose God promulgated laws for us, We find obeying Him richly rewarding. His laws are good and TIMELY. |
Now I know that many here are poor. Imagine what they think of marriage - a honorable thing! |
Chai! ![]() I wish I could pray like Joshua that the moon remains in hiding for one full month! |
Weah96:Believe, my friend. If you believe and sincerely pray, You'll obtain righteousness in Christ Jesus. |
By their fruits you shall know them. No man can serve two masters: He was never a Christian. Christians don't do politics. They are just. |
Rossikki:I've said it. No atheist can swallow my faith with gainsaying. I'll continue to use science and prove to you how God behaves. When salt dissolves in distilled water is it still material? But is it not physical or at least perceptible? How about heat? Is heat material? But is it not physical or at least perceptible? So is Christ, He's not an abstract idea but we've felt Him again and again even if He's not material all those times. |
CAPSLOCKED:I have: The mistake atheistic scientists make is to think that they only make discoveries, and that their discoveries mean there's no God. I have felt God's presence, His literal peace and Spirit's operation which are my own discoveries, which reinforce my belief in God. This is also in spite of what atheists think. They think we're lying, but we know our discoveries are true. More so, our spiritual experiences being overwhelmingly delightsome than physical cum technological benefits, we accept and pursue a hope of A BETTER COUNTRY. Eg, on a certain day I laid down on the floor, and as most men, facing up. Then suddenly, I was filled with a sensation which itself was an absence of sensations -of pain, of heat, of whatever pressures of any degrees in any part of me -bone, tissue, cells, organs, systems and psychology. That peace I can't describe, for the tongue of flesh and brain of mortal literacy fail me to frame it's excellency. I was certain I felt heaven's atmosphere while I laid me down. It granted me absolute tranquility; I felt so free yet full; so healed, yet in a body; so pure, yet in a corrupt world. It so medicined me to such state and rapture that no clinician can restore any man or make as incredibly verdant. My man, stop doubting, and never think your human thoughts would suffice to alienate us from Jehovah. Impossible. And to the skeptic I say, it's better to come to terms with God and explore His grace in order to be on the better side and avoid cases that touch on the last day. God loves, lives, heals and helps. And to destroy His faith, no man can. His church will ever stand, 'tis written by His finger. Heaven is His, so is wisdom and power, and the glory of asphyxiating innovations. Amen. His Spirit teach the minds of the sons of men even when they perceive it not. |
johnydon22:So why does the government of your country that has all power and authority not reach out to you on one-on-one basis. But God is the author of hierachy and uses it. So, He speaks to me and I speak to you. He could have spoken to you as He speaks to me, But the problem is since Adam lost it to Satan, Sinful man's sensitivity has been hijacked by darkness. If you should hear His voice in your vile persuasion, it should shatter your every atom. Moreover, a captain does not do every battle himself. He trains his lieutenants and relishes in the successes of those in whom he believes, because by His foreknowledge they are impregnably fit out! But I prefer you open a thread. I won't post to you here again. Thanks. |
cloudgoddess:For your information, there's no claim of the Bible that is wrong. I've been in this battle for years. You can open a thread for you and me only and see how I'll prove the Bible right and you blindingly wrong. I'm my God's swordsman. Thanks. |
LoJ:Sorry to say: The devil has nothing to lose. Islam has nothing to offer. It's as firmly as it denies the death on the cross - The supreme sacrifice that tore/tears Satan's might to irrevocable shreds |
Unique04:In a manner of speaking, Seun is a small boy.. There's no atheist that can subdue my faith. I've had debates a lot of times. It's only that I don't do it much on Nairaland because their doubts are too shallow sometimes. So I ignore them. If there are any foes I'm wary of, it's not atheists but Islamic scholars. But God has always given me a good back-up. We're commanded to EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH ONCE DELIVERED UNTO THE SAINTS. My advice is, if anyone can't ignore them, he had better quit here. But I don't see anything enviable in atheists: I don't smoke, take alcohol, masturbate, steal, lie, watch porn, curse or do to any man any evil: So, why shouldn't I be proud of the evidential power of Christ in me? I've felt God's presence not once or twice or thrice plus his peace that exceeds human evaluation. Leave those that fall for their unfounded logics; of whom I can boldly say THAT THEY NEVER REALLY HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE CHRIST THAT REDEEMED ME. |
Rossikki:Hahaha. If Jesus does not behave like waves, then I can't explain His ability to pass through the walls of a locked room to where His disciples were! No physical thing can do that! But energetic waves can, so also radio waves. As a result, you can use ICT even in a locked prison! Jesus is God-man as the scriptures affirm. Like electrons' He's just anywhere with high probability (though certainty) of being found around the saint than around the sinner. As a man, He can choose to materialize, and as God he had better behave like a wave.. |
realmindz:I'm not inferior to a anyone but God. |
Rossikki:Yeah. As radio waves are also functionally physical but are immaterial |
Rossikki:God upholds all things by the word of His power. The Father who created all things by His word willed that His Son ascended by the same word.. The eternal power residual in God's word brought it to pass! But scientifically, I can prove it this way: It's well known that all things that have mass have also a force field/gravity. Then if God, Who's mightier than the earth and more substantial than it - for He created it out of nothing - exerted His force in His son, could He not have lifted Him to the highest height? If you know the attributes of God, you can easily explain His behaviour by natural phenomena that reveal him. |
joe4christ:Hahaha. If I reply you, then know that I'm not of Christ. We know the devil has reps on Naira land, But don't push your luck too far: CHRIST MIGHT KILL YOU. |
joe4christ:Hahaha. If I reply you, then know that I'm not of Christ. We know the devil has reps on Nairaland, But don't push your luck too far: CHRIST MIGHT KILL YOU. |
onetrack:Why don't you go and monitor the process by which uranium atoms detonate at critical mass in nuclear bombs.. Common AIDS VIRUS Una never fit monitor well.. Na God in action you wan monitor.. If the anointing touch you for your unbelief, E'm go just scatter you... Go monitor God. You don fit monitor your earthly papa? Na Baba God you wan monitor.. Mtchew |
First, may Christ forgive your blasphemy. Next, do you feel your brain, liver, kidney or capillaries? But are they there? Of course! Again, have you ever seen an atom? Even large protein molecules are invisible, Yet we believe they exist, not just as fables, But as near-realities, and by them we make predictions which work for us! But Christ Whose presence is more real than atoms, who work miracles among us, you want us not to believe ![]() Must everything be literal? The man who discovered the shape of benzene molecules dreamt of snakes dancing in circles, waking up, he opined that benzene molecules are ring-shaped; and it's still accepted till today. If you know science, you'd hardly ever oppose God because His ways are explained by science, and not the other way round. Christ is not just in heaven where He conceals His glory which is too dangerous for mortal gazing, He's right there where you are. If you sincerely seek Him, He'll reveal Himself to you. Give it a try. I have felt Jesus. THE ONLY SINGLE REASON MY FAITH CANNOT BE DESTROYED TILL I DIE |
HardMirror:So, where did the water of today's earth come from? From the moon or some natural/abstract interaction? If Christians believe that God created water - whose origin you can't explain, Then why do you think we'll feel awful to think that that same God flooded the earth with water? The scripture records that the fountains of the deep were broken up: In other words, the water that submerged the entire earth didn't need to descend from the clouds at iron-shattering velocities, but simply both as rain and aquatic upsurge. Nevertheless, if Christ could multiply five loaves and two fishes geometrically; what science can't can't simulate; then I think that Jehovah Jireh can submerge the whole earth with just a glass of water ![]() |

The pastor preached the tough truth. God bless him. |
Indiaindia:Nah. He's not. It's simple. Worship God orderly and no man will trample on your freedom. But those rejoicing on this thread think that the churches have been closed down. My thought is, it's just a scolding. If they pledge to adjust, The seal-offs will be revoked. I myself detest loud noise. |
Sanchez01:'Campaign manager of PDP' is ungrammatical. It should be 'the PDP'. |
Your children are your children. Detach from their mothers, but care for them. However, if the many wives were married at once, Then whichever of them made the vow first is the legitimate wife. But if they all made the vow at once, Then the man's simultaneous marriage to all of them is NULL AND VOID. |
