Hi golddust6000 and every contributor on this thread. I had to follow because of the rich value of the info being provided. As at 19yrs when I was in 100L, my BP was reading 160/80 and 140/90. I did nothing much to bring it down. Maybe because I was naive or so. But over time these last 3 years of actively working, I have noticed my BP to be high. I have decided to do something about it and currently on drugs. However, the doctor attending to me said my BP is fluctuating as it goes up and down sometimes but he said nevertheless that I am hypertensive.

After going through the thread yesterday, I went to the market to buy ginger, tumeric, garlic and beetroot. My question now is whether I should pause the drugs and use the fruits or I should combine them together. I don't like drugs as a person but my health needs to be attended to.

Should I also blend the garlic, ginger, tumeric and beetroot together or take it raw.

Was at the hospital yesterday and was diagnosed of migraine, the treatments with meds has been helpful.

Two things, u have to carry out typhoid test, if u don't have typhoid, treat migraine.

And to my predicament, went to the hospital yesterday, met with the doc and was diagnosed of migraine headache, already on treatment and yesterday which I ought to felt another episode of the headache… I felt nothing and my night was okay.

It could be Hypertension a.k.a High BP. And once that artery that carries blood from the heart to the eye burst na to print your Obituary remain.

Avoid spicy foods. Avoid salts and soda for now. See a doctor asap.

Please I need advice on what to do, been having this constant headache since 4 days ago, starts past 6 each and every day.
Yesterday evening own was worse, it was as if my right eye wanted to burst or something, I just had to sleep around 10pm and trust me it’s not easy to sleep in such pain, I had to forced myself cos it’s only that that works, I rolled on the bed for close to 2hrs after have settled in to sleep before I finally slept off. Once I wake up by morning, all the pain and headache would have gone.
The headache sets in again past 6pm next day.
Please how can I solve this, paracetamol doesn’t work.

Does this beetroot plant have any native name or so?

Eat beetroot plant. Note: be careful of the quantity you consume it can greatly reduce your BP (even to dangerous levels). So eat small quantities each day. And check your BP regularly to see if it's stable.

I think this is where most of us have this funny misconception about medicine, be it long term usage or short term my brother, see a doc and let him prescribe the right drugs for you and be whole in no time, long term usage or short shouldn’t be your priorities now.

I couldn’t have said this better.
Could remember when I had an issue way back in school, depression and worry kicked in and lo n behold I had this BP issue, but that same year I did all to get it solved.
But now I think whenever I’m just worrying about this life of a thing or where I am I have this feeling this BP of a thing is trying to come back around.
It’s just crazy.

So presently I think I am in this stage.
I am below 30 and my BP is high. Back then when I was in school and wasn't really worry about many things, I did my bP and I found it to be 120/80.

Ever since I fell I'll one time and I started worrying about life after school and many things. My BP spiked. Last I checked it was 138/??. I feel my heart pounding sometimes even without doing anything.

I have come to observe that it is genetic in my family. So I try to avoid eating salts and drinking alcohol as much as I can. The worrying part is what I haven't handled well. I am the first son and I have so much I worry about. This is not just me, I think many young men out there face this same issue...

Something needs to be done about it

4 or 5 days ago, I was having this severe headache at my right headed side, I took some paracetamol and normal if I have any headache, once t take the paracetamol it ought to stop, but this particular day it didn’t, when I couldn’t take the pain anymore I went to one pharmacy close to me.
On getting there, I asked if there’s anything stronger I can use for this headache, the lady was still asking my how I was feeling n all, but before she could conclude on anything I just told her I want to check my bp first.
So I did n she was in awe afterwards, just staring at me n asking personal questions, I just told her she should just spill it out n let me know. She said 130/ can’t rem the other one.
So she just gave me a drug to use for the headache first n rest well cos like 2 months now I sleep late like 4 or 5 am.
Went back home n I had to sleep early that day, guessed I slept around past 9 or so, felt great in the morning.
I just thought prolly it’s because I want to have malaria that’s why the bp is at 130 or so cos I was feeling some type of way within me but I was sure it was malaria that prompted it or me sleeping schedule or anxiety but actually have had bp episode 2-4yrs ago which I medically sorted it.
So on a long run, yesterday I had the same headache at the same place, I took paracetamol n rest my head, it reduced awhile n I slept off.
Right now I’m also experiencing the headache, same time it has always been, there was no paracetamol at home, only found 1 tab and used it, I’m just laying down now but the headache still persist, please anyone to give me more insights bout the headaches?
