Yeah its spotting, since it's has stopped no cause of alarm.. To rest your mind she can go see her Doc. I also had spotting at 12 weeks for a day aswell but it was nothing. And we are almost at 36weeks. Most mamas here had spotting and have delivered healthy LO.

And also, the blood stopped already as at that yesterday afternoon.
None today as well, I just told her to rest enough and take her folic acid drug.

Mama you either take the ones given to you during antenatal only or you take just pregnacare. Please do not combine. Pregnacare already contains folic acid and all the vitamins they give you during antenatal.

First of all, what may not work for you does not mean it won't work for another person.

Don't just stay there and assume things about Mauritius or what people tell you about Mauritius.

I consider Mauritius a country full of opportunities and jobs , something we can't find in naija.
In Mauritius here there are lots and lots of jobs available and you stand a chance of earning at least 150k minimum.

Those people complaining they dont want to come Mauritius to be washing plate in a hotel, I pity that person mentality, it's obvious the person hasn't traveled at all before and doesn't know the true meaning of hustling or experience it and you will be earning reasonable amount of money as salary.

I say it again, Mauritius is a place to be and it gives someone a chance to start something for him or herself and be earning reasonable amount of money, something you can't find in naija

And again, Mauritius is not a place you expect to come and cash out with millions Nooo.

Rather Mauritius will give you an opportunity to start something for yourself, come up with a plan and move to a better better country

Congratulations sir. The most important drug for her now is folic acid as it’s very essential in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy to avoid neural tube defects in babies. She can take vitamin c but not overdose please. Folic acid is taken once daily(1 tablet).

Routine drugs are of different types. Once she starts antenatal, the hospital will provide her with these drugs. They are usually about 4 or 5 different drugs that she has to take daily. Some of them have funny smell and taste and some women do not tolerate them. Although there are other brands that have no taste or smell and she just needs one tablet a day

I honestly don’t know anything bout that, she doesn’t use any drug cos I been telling her not to even paracetamol cos it might be dangerous unless doc prescribe it.

Your wife is experiencing the packages that come with early pregnancy. Some women feel tired, crampy, nauseous and sick in the first 3 months. She should stop worrying herself. She will feel better in few weeks. Let her take her routine drugs and stay hydrated.
Antenatal in most government hospitals starts at 12 weeks (3 months). Some private hospitals will let you start earlier if you want to. She can get her first scan anywhere between 8 and 14 weeks. This would give her a more reliable due date compared to scans done later on in the pregnancy.

NB: If you are really worried about her state of health, take her to the hospital please

Please would like to ask, when is the appropriate time to go for scan or visit hospital.
My wife is just a month+ pregnant (first time also).
She hasn’t been getting herself lately, she can’t do anything, been tired n stomachache can’t let her do anything in the house ever since.
She just keep asking I seek out knowledge about it all concerning what she can do n all n if all she’s experiencing is normal.
And, till how many month should ante- natal starts?

Stomach cramps are quite common in early pregnancy. The feeling of something moving inside her should be the cramps and not the baby. The cramps usually go away on their own and she doesn't need to take anything for them. However, I would advise you both pop into a hospital and get her checked out, just to be safe. My wife just took in, let’s say a month+ I think, but the ish now is the frequent stomach aching, days of frequent feeling nausea has reduced actually which am glad about it but what’s disturbing me is how her stomach aches, in her words “something moving inside her, sometimes it could be the upper part or lower” so I just want to ask if it’s normal and is there anything to use or take note at this early pregnancy time?
