FamilyRevelation: The Woman You Called Mummy Is Not Your Biological Mother. by Flawless(op): 11:22am On Oct 19, 2010
What would you do if you had a revelation that the woman you ve known for more than 26 years is not your biological mother. Considering the fact that she has not been nice to you either. She has always treated you differently and with indescribable hatred but over the years you ve learned to assume that she is just not a nice mother.
I need honest advice on what to do and how to go about it.

PoliticsRe: 20 Most Influential Nigerians--vanguard by Flawless(f): 5:16pm On Oct 11, 2010
GNBohr:
TO BE INFLUENTIAL YOU MUST CONTROL PEOPLE IN A REMOTE-CONTROL MANNER. YOUR WORD MUST BE LIKE A LAW LIKE THE AWOLOWO, AZIKWE, AHMADU BELLO OF OLD. NOT LIKE IN THE MANNER OF OSHIOMOLE USAGE OF UNIONISM. YOUR PLATFORM OF INFLUENCE MUST BE THE PEOPLE THEMSELVES AND THEY MUST SEE YOU LIKE A LITTLE GOD.

1.Asa - DOING A GOOD WORK ON HER GENRE OF MUSIK BUT NOT INFLUENTIAL, THE ONLY PERSON WHOSE MUSIC IS INFLUENTIAL IS FELA

2.Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - JUST A WRITER STRUGGLING TO BE AMONGT THE BEST IN THE LITERARY WORD, HOW MANY NIGERIANS HAVE READ HER BOOKS TO BE INFLUENTIAL. CONSIDER CHINUA ACHEBE IN THIS RIGHT.

20.Enoch Adeboye (G.O) - FOR THE SINGULAR ACT OF CAUSING LOSS OF MAN-HOURS THROUGH HIS CHURCH ACTIVITIES AND HOLY GHOST PROGRAMMES  LEADING TO SOCIO -ECONOMIC HAEMORRHAGE AND TRAVEL DISORDER THAT MOST TMES CAUSE FATAL VEHICULAR ACCIDENT RESULTING IN BODILLY INJURY, LOSS OF PROPERTIES AND LIVES. HE CAN NOT BE SAID TO BE INFLUENTIAL,  IF EVERY RELIGION DENOMINATION BEHAVES LIKE HIS REDEEMED CHURCH, WE SHOULD FORGET ABOUT LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY.

THEREFORE, THE INFLUENTIAL NIGERIANS ARE DEAD AND NEW ONES ARE NOT YET BORN.
Your conclusion is spot on, I seriously don't think anyone is influential in Nigeria. Until we have radicals like Nelson Mandela or someone with a great vision like Barack Obama.

TravelRe: My Experiences In A Uk Immigration Detention Camp by Flawless(f): 6:44pm On Sep 01, 2010
Perhaps, seyibrown read my post carefully and correctly wouldn't claim that I got it wrong. I said amnesty for all illegals and fixed d loop holes in their border control. Nick Clegg in his electoral emphase on this. I have seen people that are FAKE as in fake been granted while honest people are been refused.
TravelRe: My Experiences In A Uk Immigration Detention Camp by Flawless(f): 4:59pm On Sep 01, 2010
It is quite unfortunate that most people that have contributed to this post still have slavery mentality. Commenting on immigration issues is like walking on ice; if you haven’t experience immigration problem or have a close relation/friend that is going through it; you are better off keeping quite. Unaware to majority of you, UK has a very harsh/primitive way of dealing with immigration issues. Majority of the countries in the developed world including US, Spain, Italy and Germany are very good with border control and have in the past granted asylum to illegal immigrants or in the case of the US Visa lottery. UK has never had any sort of asylum to immigrants; instead they kept coming up with stricter Immigration laws that are nothing but against human right. YES I said Human right, you guys can Google ECHR and what it says; people have right to various right including right to establish a life, freedom of movement, association, fend for themselves and so on. How hypocritical of them to always campaigning for human right in the developing countries and poking their nose into other countries issues.
So before most of you run your mouth without thinking how would you feel if you cannot get painkiller to treat common headache and you have to practically beg just to get one whilst you are being locked up in some inhuman detention and you are subjected to ridicule? Or how would you feel if you cannot fend for your family (a family that you made in a foreign land) or how would you feel to see that a violent criminal walk free on the street while a British made criminal (illegal immigrant) is been locked up because he/she happen to be unfortunate to have migrated to a country that is supposed to be headquarter of common wealth states? Why is Nigeria still part of common wealth, when we practically do not benefit from it apart from been able to vote in their elections? I have seen people that would have been granted leave to remain in other countries being refused for example; someone with a naturalised British mother that reunited with his/her mother been refused, wife/husband of British citizen is been refused etc. So the issue of illegal immigration in the UK cannot be corrected if they do not sort out those in the UK already in form of granting amnesty to asylum seekers and illegal migrants.
Anyway guess I have to stop here, but before you cast any stone check yourself to see if you do not have any blemish. May God help us all (AMEN).

Sometimes ago I posted a topic 'emotional stress', Anyway this is an update. Since the whole incident of him telling me that I gave him bad luck 'BS' I moved on with my life; but he kept calling and pestering etc. Anyway I forgave him and we remain friends like he suggested. Recently we had an argument and his mum called me, I was a bit scared wondering why did she call me? Since we ve never met before, we only spoke on the phone once and that was it. Anyway she started off by saying when his son told her that we are dating she was quite happy cos she has been praying (she said she aint getting younger and he is her only child plus dad is late). She said however when she asked various people (dnt knw wot she meant by that) to pray about it they said we aint compatible etc. She went further to say she knows how I felt cos she is a lady etc. Anyway why am confused is that she now said she would take me as her daughter and I should see her as a mother and that whenever I found some (partner) that I should let her know so that she can pray about it. I find it a bit weird and confused cos I been through a lot emotionally with this guy already. The call just brought back some emotional stress.

Thanks everyone, for your kind and honest advice. I knw my decision was right jst wnt 2 be sure. There is no point staying friends with someone that treated me like that. I hve never felt like that in a relationship. The experience jst make wonder if a christian could treat a christian like that, what should I/we expect from people out there.  Am not a bad person am not saying am perfect but I believe he took advantage of my kind and gentle nature. Thanks everyone once again for your inputs!

There is this guy that I met in 2008,we never really got serious then, just hello friends for about a year. In 2009 he asked me out, never really wanted to say yes to his request but 2 of my friends persuaded  me to say yes since ve been single for a very long time and am not getting younger. Anyway, couple of weeks into our relationship I noticed he was acting strange, he refused to call me or pick my calls etc. After some days he picked my call when I called him with a private number. When I accused him,  he said something negative happened to him and he thing I brought that to him (bad luck) was really upset cos I knw dat I dnt hve any bad, am a devoted christian. Anyway to cut the long story short he apologised and I forgave him. However this has been the cycle, one minute he is lovey duvey the next he is back to avoiding me. I told him ve had enough of him stressing me emotionally so I ended everything, although he said he wants us to remain friends but I just can't stand him cos he is not a nice person. Do you think we should remain friends?

I believe it is better to marry late than marry early and have a divorce mid way into your marriage.
You know what is good for you therefore I will advice you to follow your heart and pls don't jump into another marriage without having a critical evaluation of what went wrong in your last marriage. Good luck !
