Politics › Re: Asset Declaration: Buhari’s Undisclosed Share At Panalpina World Transport Raise by Flets: 5:01pm On Sep 06, 2015
You can guess what will happen shortly. ..... Lai Mohd or one of the APC gangs will come out shortly to deny the so called fraudulent declaration by Shehu Garba.

And remember Shehu Garba was quoting an unnamed source in the declaration. ..... he never quoted his Boss (Buhari) nor CCB.

Nigeria has become the mockery of all nations under the 83yrs old ethnic bigot and extremist.
Politics › Re: Are The Yoruba Really Treacherous? by Flets: 4:47pm On Sep 06, 2015
huangcheng:
Normally i don't comment on threads created by Yorubas unless when it concerns Igbos but since you threw this question open to the public and try to rationalize it by citing some unsubstantial examples as proof. Let me set the records straight, Yorubas did not return Igbo properties in the Western region after the war, only Ojukwu was able to get a few of his father's properties released. The WAEC building still belongs to Chief Ojukwu, it was never returned. But that's by the way, now let's discuss the level of Yoruba treacherous-ness.

* Afonja betrayed his people to the Funlani, Ilorin still remains a islamic caliphate till today.

* It was the testimony of some Yoruba AG leaders against Chief Awolowo that was used against him.

* Justice Sowemimo, a Yoruba judge was used by the Hausa-Fulani Government to send Chief Awolowo to jail.

* Chief Awolowo was an unyielding advocate of true federalism but suddenly changes as soon as he was appointed the Minister of local Government and finance.

* General Oladipo Diya, a Yoruba man was used by Hausa-Fulani to batter NADECO, Afenifere, Odua Movement and other Yoruba struggle groups.

* Yoruba Obas collected bribe instead of fighting for the unjust killing of their "beloved son" MKO Abiola as confessed by Oba Akiolu.

* Abiola used his Concord newspaper to fight his own brother Awolowo.

* The same Abiola financed the coup that sacked his brother Ernest Shonekan and brought General Abacha, an Hausa-Fulani to power.

* MKO Abiola and other Yoruba elders even went to Dodan Barracks to congratulate General Sani Abacha for overthrowing their brother.

* Awolowo usurp the agreement he made with Ojukwu before his release from prison.

* A small boy Gowon used Pa Awolowo to cling to power against southern interest.

* Oshiomhole attacked Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

* Oshiomhole make nonsense of Akinwumi Adeshina successes in Agriculture.

* Ambode tried to pull Fashola down who he once served under.

* Tinubu made Tambuwal speaker against Mulikat Akande

* Obasanjo was very key to denying Goodluck Jonathan a second term

* Obasanjo ran Mike Adenuga out of town

* Obasanjo pardoned Salisu Buhari but gets angry when Goodluck Jonathan pardoned Alamieyeseigha

* Obasanjo working hard with foreign elements to extradite Buruji Kashamu

* Yorubas disrespect Afenifere elders for supporting Goodluck Jonathan

* Just recently Mr. Remi Babalola was rubbishing GEJ, the man that once gave him a chance to serve.

I can go on and on and on, the facts will still remain the same. You cannot trust the allegiance of a Yoruba man, even the Abobaku that was once loyal to the Oni absconded when it was time to test his true loyalty. Yorubas are not only treacherous but always at the servitude of the Northerners which is very worrisome.
Now..... that is one knock out punch
Politics › Re: 100 Days: “you Have Disappointed Us” – Nigerian Students Tell Buhari by Flets: 4:25pm On Sep 06, 2015
What exactly where they expecting from a 81yrs old (forget the official 72) ex military dictator who is bereft of 21st century ideas.

He has been busy claiming the exploits of GEJ in the power sector, refineries and new airport terminals without putting forward a new idea, economic blueprint or policy direction.

In a country of literates, Buhari shouldn't have been on the ballot. And if GEJ must be displaced from Asorock. ..... it should have been by someone better not an old non-performer.
Politics › Re: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by Flets: 4:17pm On Sep 06, 2015
Immediately I read Shehu Garba quoting a source instead of his boss or CCB .... I knew it was typical APC fraud.

How can he be quoting a source about an info on his Boss...... Rubbish.
Politics › Re: The Top Secret Documents About Jonathan On Nyako Exposed( Doc Images) by Flets: 4:05pm On Sep 06, 2015
APC is still playing a very dangerous game. I can prepare that same doc in less than 20 mins with the signatures...... its no biggy

But the question is....... of what use is this propaganda and fake write-up to APC.

APC will self destruct shortly and there will be collateral damages.
Travel › Re: Buhari To Deliver N100bn New Int’l Airport Terminals In April 2016 by Flets: 3:44pm On Sep 06, 2015
Anyone that have travelled through Murtala Mohammed Airport in the past 18 months will see that the GEJ initiated new terminals have well progressed beyond 50% by the chinese contractor.

This was a project all previous criminally minided presidents including OBJ and IBB (APC pilots) never deemed fit.

As a matter of fact, Buhari should never mention it as his plan as all counterpart funding by the FG have been paid by GEJ as part of the concession agreement. Buhari has absolutely nothing to do on this one.

All of a sudden, the change agents are eager to claim glory of the exploits in the power sector, refineries, new airport terminals initiated by the same GEJ they once called clueless without intiating their own plans.

In a country of literates, Buhari shouldn't have been on the ballot. And if GEJ must be displaced from Asorock. ..... it should have been by someone better not an old non-performer

Politics › Re: BREAKING: Over 50 Killed, Many Injured As Terrorists Attack Market In Borno by Flets:
Meanwhile Buhari and his DSS daura crew seem to be more interested in invading opposition govt houses like Akwa-ibom etc in search of non-existent enemies of the state.

Buhari's fight against Bokoharam is no more priority.

Unfortunately, bokoharam has continued massive daily slaughter of Nigerians despite the APC's drive to keep these daily massacres out of the media.

4yrs is too long a time for this retrogression...... we might never recover afterwards.
Politics › Re: Buhari, Osinbajo Declare Assets by Flets:
Mrs Buhari owns the largest beauty Spa in Kaduna and wears a 14million naira wrist watch

Buhari's spends over 40million per annum on his kids education in the UK

Buhari has single handedly sponsored 3 failed elections using own funds to tunes over 1 Billion naira per election

Yet Buhari claims to have only 30million in the bank, borrowed 27million for nomination form etc

This has to be the biggest fraud ever

If Buhari was ever a pauper as claimed and geared towards fighting corruption, he can never align with names like OBJ, Tinubu, Babaginda etc all in the name of securing power.

There is no non-corrupt general that made it to the top of the Nigerian military. This they know while the masses continue to fool themselves.
Politics › Re: Buhari Approves Appointment Of Ipaye, Akande As DCOS, SSA (PHOTO) by Flets: 6:55pm On Sep 03, 2015
Many lil kids on the forum actually think that relegating SE/SS to the background is to Buhari's advantage.

Just note that no nation has ever progressed without the collective effort of its major entities.

Anyone who wants a better Nigeria must urge Buhari to be national. Anyone who wants a balkanized Nigeria can continue to encourage the status quo.

Its only a function of time and not for too long.
Politics › Re: Rumble In The Jungle As Corruption Fights Back- The Vanguard by Flets:
Enough of this noise around fight against corruption. Without an iota of doubt, the current govt has already failed in the issue of corruption fight.

The first failure was Buhari's refusal to declare his assets as promised. Reneging on one's promise is corruption

Denying one's campaign promises is the height of corruption.

Besides, any efforts to fight corruption without strong systems have failed before it started.

With biometric registeration, GEJ eliminated 65,000 ghost workers from the Fed Civil Service. If this was Buhari, he would attempt to arrest and probe 65,000 people without success

Until we focus on systems and institutions, we've not started.
Politics › Re: PDP List Achievements At 17 by Flets: 10:14pm On Aug 31, 2015
At a minimum, PDP respected federal character which ensured the unity of the country.

That is its biggest achievement for a United Nigeria. Unfortunately APC is on a quick drive to balkanize that unity.
Politics › Re: Why Electricity Has Remained Stable – FG by Flets: 8:58pm On Aug 31, 2015
Someone needs to really explain how this community engagements as touted by this APC employee has been done

Who headed the engagements at the community levels as we have had no figure head in the power sector?

At what time where these engagements held and what pipeline host communities were involved?

How possible is it that a party of propaganda and media frenzy like APC will engage pipeline host communities and no one knew about it...... and it comfortably skipped the media houses

More than ever, every discerning mind will figure that APC was clearly behind the pipeline vandalism under the previous administration.

APC govt did nothing about it...... they just stopped their acts. By the time Nigerians understand the evil they have in their hands...... it will be too late.

The vandals are still available for the services of the highest bidder.

Don't be deceived,a lot of people were tired of GEJ and PDP,that was the reason why Buhari was voted for. It had little to do with education and illiteracy. As long as I am concerned, GEJ deserved what he got(I am not talking about the insults), he failed Nigeria and Nigerians.
I made up my mind to vote against GEJ after that Immigration scandal and I believe a lot of people did too and I don't regret it.

Noisy govt always acting for the media

Okorocha desperate for media mentions.

What proof from this pic indicates illegal refinery? This could easily be diesel holding tanks
Grasses growing around the tanks indicate no activities around those area for a while
And why civil defence?... what happened to the police or JTF?

Hahahahahaha

If this Buhari's propaganda government achieves 25% of what GEJ achieved, they would have exceeded my expectations.

Unfortunately, illiteracy on the part of the masses was a fertile ground for APC's propaganda. But am happy the masses will learn about the impacts of propaganda the hard way.

On a good day, a man without a formal education, a former and currently emerging dictator, an obvious tribal bigot, an islamic fundamentalist, a slow 72+ yrs old man, an election debate evader should never had been on the ballot.

Thanks to the endemic illiteracy across the land and even among the few schooled

ramalot:
I don't care about Nigerian politics or politicians, but what you're failing to see is this:

CORRUPTION is THE reason why all the sectors you've mentioned have failed woefully over the decades.

WITHOUT fixing corruption to a certain point, any attempts at other sectors IS a waste of time.

What do you want to hear? Maybe something like "Buhari approves $1 billion for education reform"?
What use is that if the funds would only get looted, just like they always have?

Weed out the bad eggs, establish the right climate and clear repercussions, THEN invest funds in the serctor.
Until you lot understand that fighting corruption is beyond noise and media hype about jailing and prosecuting and arresting....... you are on a long thing.

Only putting the right systems in place will ensure an end to corruption. Is Buhari ready to jail over 95% of political office holders including himself for corruption?

Only the right system will ensure that even the system initiator does not escape corruption himself..... or who do you think will check the corrupt activities of Buhari himself

And lets assume Buhari jails all political office holders and after his term in office retires and someone else comes in and releases them? Successful fights against corruption are not built around people, its built around systems to ensure it transcends political tenures.

GEJ stopped 65,000 ghost workers in the fed civil service using a biometric system and saved billions of naira. Guess what Buhari would have done..... jail 65,000 people

No progressive democracy in the world fights corruption with this level of noise as seen with this govt.

debaj10:
Hi all.
I hopee this is the right thread for this post, but in any case I think it'll get the best views here.

This article was prompted by news that Oil Swap deals were scrapped due to corruption.
I think that was a very wrong move.
Please, bear with me.
As at August, the following recent events have happened:
- China's stock slump;
- Leading to world stock slide;
- Leading to oil hitting $40/barrel or less this week (our budget is based on oil prices of aboiut $52/barrel).
Meaning that we've been running Nigeria on a deficit!

Add the following:
- Iran sanctions lifted
(Leading to their 2.8 million barrel/day stockpile- since 2011- ready for a saturated oil market)
- Saudi selling at a discount;
- US, China and India (our biggest customers) going elsewhere to buy;
- Western nations giving security alerts to their citizens about Nigeria;
- Our Naira STILL falling in value against other currencies (forget the CBN's battle with the dollar and check the prices of the Pound or Euro);

And to top it all up we're now terminating contracts with the FEW customers who actually WANT to buy our light crude?!
Isn't that cutting off your nose to spite your face?
How about simply checking shipping records with Lloyds of London to know who actually delivered the crude they collected and who lifted refined products- as well as dates, cargo load, travel durations, etc?
That way you can keep your genuine clients instead of tempting them to look elsewhere!
Or is the new round of tendering free for old customers..?

To be continued.
Next- Oil Partnerships (a la Olu Falae!).

As usual, feel free to criticize, shoot holes in my analysis, ask questions or make suggestions.
Tnx
These are visible facts but the dumb and illiterate sai buhari crew will only call it wailing and.go spiritual afterwards.

Truth is Nigeria is in for a huge shocker by 2016 if nothing is immediately done.
