Why are the activitists not protesting anymore against the state of the IDP camps?
Why are they slowing down after their overdrive to make political sense in the last govt dispensation.

Everything concerning this BH concern have always been politics
Politics › Re: Breaking!! TSA Impact!! 11600 Bank Workers To Be Sacked!! by Flets:
There are many economic policies in the world today that can be adopted but its stupidity to think it would work in all type of economies.

Is maintaining TSA a good initiative - Yes.... just like many other good initiatives
What is the main aim of TSA - to ensure no leakages of govt revenue across various ministries and MDAs
Is it the only way to check and curb the leakages – NO
What is the economic impact of implementing TSA – It will significantly impact the middle class, bank workers and SMEs (Small and Medium term enterprises)

What could have been done? – FG could have first documented the unremitted FG funds with these banks (These funds were not missing… they are known and with the commercial banks). Then begin a GRADUAL withdrawal of the funds from these banks in the space of a year or two to allow them sufficient time to react and retain their staff.

This was exactly the reason why NOI under GEJ took a gradual implementation of the TSA policy in order not to collapse the middle class as is currently being witnessed.

Buhari needed a finance minister first before anything… the harm is done already. Nigerians will feel the pain.

Politics › Re: Boko Haram Agreed To Swap Chibok Girls With Arrested Bomb Expert — Buhari by Flets:
Some months back, Buhari and his APC condemned this same negotioation by the Ex-government
Few days back, Defence headquarters claimed they eliminated Bokoharam
Last week, Buhari said Chibok girls have been married out to Bokoharam members
There is no greater level of inconsistency and hypocrisy as this

Which girls are they negotiating for?.... the already married out ones?
Who are they negotiating with and where are they located as we've been informed that all BH camps have been dislodged?
Is Buhari negotiating from a position of strength or weakness?

And now... we are negotiating with terrorists. If only people are aware of what is going on in this country under APC.
The target end to all this is amnesty to some terrorists while some girls will be revealed as Chibok girls

What Nigeria needs is true federalism where every region champions its course.

Under this setting, there will be more respect across tribes. Free allocation from the federal is responsible for the heightened intolerance.

When people understand that they need investors in their region to grow their economy, they will be more respectful nd accomodating.

pacespot:
I must say I concur with some part of your assertion but not all yet, coz truly I read the news 3 days ago that America's shale oil production is set for a sharp fall. I just hope the rest isn't true, because that will be a sheer stupidity on our part selling the oil at a far too lower price than the international rate
Most producing countries are selling at lesser rates especially nations with huge backlog of crude sitting on tankers incurring huge dummurage costs.

At some point, the increasing holding costs eats into the selling price when there are no buyers. So selling at lower prices to avoid dummurage cost is becoming a norm in the current crude market of low price regimes
Politics › Re: We Need France's Help To Defeat Boko Haram - Buhari by Flets:
Never have we had this level of deception and confusion at the national level.

DH on one hand is claiming to have ended Bokoharam, Buhari on the other hand is asking for more help against same bokoharam.

Nigerians are really not aware of the covet act by the FG to under-report the massacre by Bokoharam. That in itself is a welcome development as it starved BH of the publicity they thrive on. But its an act of irresponsibility by the FG to claim victory when hundreds of Nigerians are being slaughtered on a daily basis.
Politics › Re: US Resumes Crude Oil Imports From Nigeria by Flets:
Nigerians should not get carried away

Due to the fall of crude prices, shale oil production has become unprofitable. As such, US has resumed increased import of foreign crude oil but at a pre-agreed cheaper rate than global prices.

The US resumed crude import came at a price. The first is sales at rates cheaper than global prices and the second is the installation of Ex Mobil Director Kachikwu as NNPC GMD to protect American interest.

A careful look at the write-up indicates that the onshore crude being purchased is Mobil's Qua Iboe crude (american interest) and the other unsaid story is that its currently being sold at $29.60 below global prices of $45+.

Enough of the noise, Nigeria aint gaining.

Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff Hike Set For October – FG by Flets: 7:04am On Sep 15, 2015
Economy is at its lowest ebb
Massive job loss across all sectors
Stock markets on a steep nose dive
Bokoharam continues onslaught up north despite Govt's effort to keep it off media
JP Morgans drops Nigeria
Massive inflation on consumer goods
Foreign exchange market volatility
Increased poverty and hunger across the land
ND militants re-grouping in the creeks in various new camps in readiness for total showdown
Biafra campaigners continously warming up to UN member nations

And now..... Nigerians to pay higher electricity tariffs.
This was the same tariff the GEJ govt continued to keep and even subsidized. Buhari without doing any single thing in the power sector and without a minister of power wants to single handedly increase suffering for Nigerians.

To the 97% ...... I say good morning.

With an already stretched military and failing economy, only dullards like Buhari engage with force at this time.

Someone needs to remind him that he cannot win a simultaneous fight against Bokoharam, Niger Delta and Biafra with an unfunded budget and tired army.

Under dictators like Buhari, no public officer should ever dream of growing to the peak of their careers because an outsider must be ordered to come head you.

A man who has not spent one day as a custom officer is mandated to go reform and restructure customs

A man without any credible educational qualification has been appointed to build a a mordern day customs organisation

Under Buhari, medical doctors shall be appointed to fly planes.

Buhari is another horrible topic but who exactly is more corrupt than these same civil servants on protest?

4Play:
You would be expect this given the fall in the price of the underlying commodity, crude oil, from which the subsidised fuel is produced.
Not exactly, APC as usual will attempt to milk some self service glory from this one Since they have nothing doing in govt
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Daily Fuel Subsidy Drops To N1.07 Billion by Flets:
Before the paid APC propagandists arrive to misinform the gullible masses ..... Kindly read the article

The drop is clearly driven by the fall in the price of crude oil and its refined equivalents in the global market.

Adding the drop in demand by China for local consumption which has caused an over supply in the refined product market.... The prices of the products have no where to move but down.

This has nothing to do with Buhari and his body odour/ language as the evil paid propagandists will have the gullible ones believe.

Infact at a minimum, if Buhari had a handle of the economy then there should be further reduction in pump price to 70 naira per litre.

At least GEJ reduced from 97 to 87 during the first drop in crude prices
Politics › Re: Chibok Girls Dispersed, Some Married Off & Appointing Ministers Tough- Buhari by Flets: 10:40am On Sep 10, 2015
Bokoharam has been thoroughly dismantled but we still cant find the chibok girls to which they were married out.#

Buhari and his APC must understand that there is a limit to propaganda.
Politics › Re: Military Frees 128 Detainees In Borno. by Flets:
Lets ask ourselves some discerning questions

Apart from Bokoharam members killed in active service, has any captured BH member been tried and sentenced?

Who declared these released suspects not guilty and where are the guilty ones?

What plans does Buhari have for the guilty Bokoharam members?... At least Chad has been prosecuting them

Why was Zakari Biu re-instated back into the police force after obvious ties with the BH terror sect under Buhari?

Why has Shekau not released any videos attacking Buhari like he did under GEJ?

Why did Buhari make a sudden turn to claim that Chibok girls have all been married out to Bokoharam members yet the military claim to have conquered BH ... so where are the girls?

Why is the north not blaming Buhari for not finding Chibok girls as promised? What is Oby Ezekwesili's comment after being told the Chibok girls have been married out?... Why the sudden silence?

Why is Borno state governor always in a haste to give out gifts to Chibok parents?.. Is it meant meant to be a compensation for their kids or for some other sinister motives?

Have anyone thought why Buhari only gives press releases to BBC hausa... Never NTA, channels, AIT etc knowing fully well that Nigeria is a secular state with English as its Lingua franca?

One of the most frustrating feelings ever is sharing the same country with illiterate air heads who contribute most by their combined decisions to the outcomes you have to live with.

In saner climes, Buhari should never have been on the ballot

We should never have allowed the numb skulls who were ready to accept NEPA bills in the place of required educational certificates for a presidential candidate with negative profiles.
Investment › Re: Jpmorgan: Investors Lose N311bn In 24 Hours by Flets:
Trust me. .... Buhari doesn't give a hoot cos he doesn't understand. Very terrible!!!

Even his illiterate supporters continue to gloat over obvious economic disaster. Even the learned ones come out to defend the indefensible using economic jargons that makes nonsense. And it is nonsense because the current government had zero plans to manage outcomes like these.

Who exactly in this government has the responsibility of thinking for swift economic reactions to these outcomeshuh

Which serious country ever leaves a vacuum in its economy? ... even if other appointments have to wait, why should the economy wait for 3 months without a coordinating minister or finance minister?

Who is going to compensate for these losses across all sectors? who is going to employ the hundreds of thousands that have lost their jobs in the last three months? Who is going to successfully woo the investors back under a Buhari presidency?

A government that took Oshiomole, Wife (Lara) and Okorocha to key economic meetings with the US government has absolutely no clue.

And remember Shehu Garba was quoting an unnamed source in the declaration. ..... he never quoted his Boss (Buhari) nor CCB.

Nigeria has become the mockery of all nations under the 83yrs old ethnic bigot and extremist.
