There is something you never picked from my inscription, let's recall that I concurred with the scripture quoted.

femi4:
[s]I don't know how vast you are with the scriptures. I don't support any ideaology or doctrines that doesn't have its roots or foundation from the scripture irrespective of your denomination.[/s]

But don't let us go any step backward. I just noticed that all of a sudden you are becoming interesting.
femi4:

Kindly support the bold part above with scriptures, else you ll be sounding like a spiritual illiterate with the gibberish you wrote up there

So please before u go let me ask, where did I say anything contrary to the scripture? or where do you think have a grain of salt wink

James 5:14-16 King James Version (KJV)

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,

cheesy grin grin grin grin He rushed to his bible in order to throw me off balance and now you've flipped, which was the main reason I said you should answer without knowing my reasons.

This is just common sense look at what vs 15 said the prayer of faith shall save the sick, (thanks for making it bold)

This simply implies that the faith of the people praying for one can heal one even tho he/she is at the outskirt of life. The AMEN of HE/SHE at this point does not dictate for GOD to carry out his generous healing.

Sin is a spiritual sickness and that is why the faith of ones parent even at infant plays a MASSIVE role in baptism.

(kindly don't mis-quote me for being Catholicism or too doctrine)

My point is that any humanarian(permit me to use that word) activity carried out on an infant has less to no effect when it comes to God but the spiritual... OK let's see it from this angle what if that child is taken for some necessary rituals to a deity, where do you think that child will end up after death... In as much one remain an infant he/she is subjected to the faith of he that bore him or he that weaned/bringeth him up until he/she is old enough to make choices.

don't misunderstand my choices of words

Is it right for an adulteress to bring an illegitimate child into the house of God for christening?

If you can answer this question correctly, then you will agree with me that many churches are leading their members to hell.

We should understand that every being with soul is accountable to God, circumstances surrounding a child birth does not hinder one from christening ...i think we have children who are in the catholic orphanage christened even though this might be children of prostitutes

Saint Marcelino was left my a monastery gate and baptized without knowing who the baby's parent are

The Catholic Church is fond of baptising bastards. First, Linda Ikeji's son of doubtful paternity and now this one too.

They should make the boy an altar boy so that the Priests and Rev. Fathers can do what Catholic priests are known for in recent times.

This Is what the Cath. Chur believe, do not fornicate, do not use contraceptives/condom during sex, do not abort a baby, every baby/child has the right to live, a child should not suffer for the sin of the parent, every soul must be baptized ahead of death/eternity

The end game is if and only if a baby is conceived, do not terminate but let him know his God

Baptising baby is wrong ...Baptism is a symbol of repentance not for protection or annointing

Very correct... by virtue of our birth we are sinners, making every soul guilty in the first place, so babies are not exempted

Funny enough ubi Franklin had the same baptism when he was born but did that stop him from planting his seeds into every hole to germinate different children, all these baptisms won't change a thing, what will be will be.
