Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor of Abia state, during a town hall meeting at his home town in Igbere. Has made it clear to Igbos and Nigerians in general, "Let me tell you this clearly" that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not an Hausa party and that the possibility of an Igbo man becoming the President of this country is brighter in the APC. He said,

“Let me tell you this clearly, APC is not Hausa party as they have been deceiving the people. APC is not owned by President Muhammadu Buhari; the possibility of an Igbo man becoming the President of this country is brighter in the APC than in any other party including the PDP.

“When we formed the PDP, some people were saying it was Hausa party as they are saying of APC now, but it was the same PDP that produced former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan who are Southerners.”

Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan on new media,Reno Omokri took to his twitter post to tell President Mohammadu Buhari to first obey the Economic Community for West Africa States (ECOWAS) and Nigerian courts before asking the president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh to do so because, someone does not rush to put out a kitchen fire in a neighbor's house while ignoring the house fire in his own home. He said,

''Dear President Buhari, before taking the lead to enforce democracy in The Gambia, please take the lead in enforcing peace in Southern Kaduna.

''While I do not support what is happening in The Gambia, to the best of my knowledge, there is no genocide there unlike in Southern Kaduna.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) attached to Bayelsa state, has discovered multi million dollars estate located at Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Street, off Goodluck Jonathan Road in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. belonging to the former minister of petroleum, Mrs Diezani Allison-Madueke.

A source close to the investigation team reportedly said:

“Following our obtaining a court order to recover some assets belonging to Diezani, we were able to gather intelligence which led to the location of the hidden estate in question in Bayelsa State.

“Our operatives also conducted searches in some houses on the estate based on tip off on the ex-minister.

“We will follow due process in invoking the relevant laws on asset forfeiture on all the mansions in the estate.”

The Senior Special Assistant to the President, Garba Shehu in a statement released On Thursday following an incident involving the accidental gun discharge in the State House on Wednesday, has assured Nigerians of the safety of State House, and that there was no cause for alarm. The statement which read;

“According to the reports received so far, the security official involved is not attached to the State House. Rather, he came on invitation as a witness in an ongoing investigation and was required, as is the rule, to surrender his weapon at the gates before entry.

“It was in the process of conducting the normal safety precaution as professionally required that the pistol accidentally fired.

“Unfortunately, the security operative and the lady by his side, a caterer in the State House, were hit by a pellet of the bullet. Both of them were attended to at the clinic and discharged. "

An APC chieftain and National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, North Central Zone, Mr. Zakari Idde on Wednesday was arraigned before the state high court in lafia with nine others by the Zamfara state police command over the murder case of a Chinese miner, his police orderly and two others.

The suspects were said to have ambushed and killed the Chinese miner and three others at Wugibi Hills in the Alogani area of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government of the state late last year. The police had earlier paraded before journalists other suspects in the murder but Idde was not among them because he was on bail. After earlier denied involvement in the incident.

The vacation judge, Justice Ayiwulu, adjourned the case till Friday (today) for the hearing of the bail application filed by the accused lawyers, Zaidu Abdullahi and A. Idris.

The state commissioner of police Mr. Abubakar Sadiq-Bello, when contacted said, “As far as the police are concerned, Mr. Idde is also a suspect. His statement was obtained under caution after which he was released on bail.”

I made an online transaction to purchase a domain for my blog after some searching i discoverd this fraudulent web hoster.WEB4AFRICA.NET not knowing that this was the beginning of my problems. After the online transaction, my account was debited immediately without a waste of time. After the purchase, i discoverd an opposite of the features of what I read earlier during the search. Which includes:Clients inability to change and edith his DNS, NAMESERVERS etc. After sometime, i discoverd their Live Chat since the always busied my calls. I chatted with the admin who asked for my blog CNAME which i sent to him ignorantly after that i was asked to hold on for like 2-4 hours which i did after the waiting and supposed time, everything was still the same i tried to chatting through the live chat where the admin pretended not to know me and what i am talking about even as a logged in member. Can you imagine the scam? After that i was asked to hold on for few hours by the fraudulent admin. For close to 4 days now i have been "holding on" and nothing has been done by the fraudsters . I know refund is not possible because i have been scammed. I just want to make this known to African web designer and young upcoming bloggers to be wise and never fall for scammers so called "webhosters" web4africa.net an example. Admins and moderators pls move this warning and advice to front page... BE WARNED
