It's not a Lagos thing alone.. that's the point she has to see. Other top cities are facing similar challenges due to current economic situation and overpopulation. It's only those scanty areas that people don't want to stay or live in that won't feel the pressure.

Lagos State is under serious pressure and something needs to be done fast.. all water bodies and lagoon are turning to latrines for homeless people who are trooping into Lagos daily. Something must be done to save the State.

El-rufai will understand Nigeria's political arena better in 2027.. Presidency is not like being handpicked to serve as Minister or Governor. We're talking of 36 States plus the FCT, 774 LGAs, divided into 6 geopolitical zones.
The only person with that appeal from North is Atiku.
El-rufai doesn't come close atal, he is more or less a local champion of muslim fanatics in Kaduna and other parts of the North West region.. Nevertheless, best of luck to him.

When will Nigerians start holding State Governors responsible?.. our people see everything as fault of the President whereas FG hasn't stopped sharing allocations to States to run their monthly affairs.
The President should run to Akoko Edo, from there to Agulu, down to Bauchi just to make Nigerians happy. The NOA needs to put it out there that citizens should hold their Governors responsible first before mentioning the President who is the highest in the governance nexus.

The industrial sector has been neglected for far too long.. I expected PBAT and his cabinent to deploy resources to protect our industries but seems it's still business as usual.
I've said it and will keep saying it that this pattern of focusing only on TRADE, neglecting manufacturing and Made-in-Nigeria products will cost us so much on the long run.. look at how US is shifting her priorities from 'business as usual' while Nigeria keeps getting it wrong.

These companies leaving have seen the lack of seriousness and lack of commitment to industrial sector growth in Nigeria.. Indigenous companies are closing down, foreign companies are shutting down, yet some individuals think it's ok to sit at WTO and be discussing Trade.. please what exactly are you trading? A nation trading only raw materials with zero products and services is on its way to poverty.

Yoruba politicians of today don't know how lucky they are.. .back then, external influence wanted to take over everything and turn Yorubas into slaves right inside Yorubaland but God no gree for them. Today, Yorubas have a say in our own affairs and in the affairs of the country at the centre.

Blacks especially Nigerians planning to japa to America should better have a rethink.. soon it will move from deportation to job preservation for Whites in the US.

What did you study in school?..
Are you physically challenged?.. if not, why not learn a skill, start teaching job, become an apprentice in automechanic repair, fashion designing or even learn digital skills in demand, etc.
You can even approach companies or individuals for driving jobs, security gaurds (there are security agencies you can apply to), get car on hire purchase for uber, get bike on hike purchase for home delivery, barbing saloon business, etc..

Gone are the days of waiting for white collar job with tie.. Please get something doing till opportunity will come knocking at your door.
