They are free to choose and support whichever candidate they like, Yorubas respect human rights unlike some ones who maim and kill their kind for violating every Monday sit at home in alaigbo.. Check closely from another perspective, it's either they have been brainwashed by Igbos, have Igbo blood (half-breeds) or are sleeping with an Igbo person. All the people in these categories don't mean well for Yorubaland and Yoruba people. |
Shey na life be this?.. So Christians too should start closing all schools during Christian Fasting?.. funny people. Happy ramadan to all sensible muslims o jare.. wish you guys the best. |
I pity Fubara sha.. he allowed IP0Bs hail him till he fell inside ditch. Supreme court judgement is final and all those illegal lawmakers elected in Rivers State must all leave their seat and go home else they risk prosecution and long jail term. The reinstated Rivers Assembly members should not impeach the Rivers Governor.. he should do one term and go. |
Awolowo did the right thing sending greedy Igbos like Nnamdi Azikiwe out of the Western region.. How will an Igbo man be Premier of Eastern region, then another Igbo will be pushing to be Premier of Western region over Yoruba people?.. so a Yoruba man didn't deserve to be Premier in his Yorubaland or what what exactly are these losers on about?? The Igbos have always desired to subdue and colonize Yorubas (who are more intelligent than they are) in Nigeria and take over all Yoruba heritage and ancestral lands. That is the pure truth. |
Mr. Akpabio ought to have put his womanizing lifestyle in the past.. all these senior citizens wey no gree leave woman matter. Our beautiful Senator Natasha, Ebira's finest should forgive and let peace reign. |
So which one are you?.. pagan or free thinker? |
That ethnic bigot is not fit to head a family unit talk more of a multi-ethnic nation like Nigeria.. Atiku is far far better than that hypocrite called Obi, even the midget in Kaduna is far better than the packaged Agulu fraud. They can't think straight because they are bias by default.. everything to them is tribalism. |
I don't like this Meranda woman, my spirit no just align with her person.. Why wait till Obasa was outside the country before plannig coup in the LSHA.. looks like what IP0Bs would do or orchestrate.. I'm glad Mr Obasa is back on the seat in order to push more drastic protective measures for Yoruba culture in Lagos.. Mr. Obasa is pro-Yoruba and that makes him the right man for the job. |
How the Hausas who happen to be the largest ethnic group in Northern Nigeria allowed themselves to be subdued and placed under Fulanis need to be studied as course.. even the Kanuris, Zurus etc. still maintain their steeze and assert their dominance in the region till date unlike Hausas. The average Hausa person you'll meet in the North has low self esteem because they have been defeated and all their lands and culture taken over by Fulanis. God abeg o.. no make Yorubas looseguard reach that leve. |
@OP I understand your concerns... to be honest, I don't know the problem with Yorubas and "carefree" way of life. Buhari wouldn't expose himself the way the President got himself exposed in that video.. So because Ganduje is from Kano and APC national Chairman means all the Northern boys there are fully loyal to the President?.. no mole or.assasin can infiltrate and blend with the rest of them? is that what they are telling us??. I hope this gets to the President so he'll adjust quickly and stop putting his life in danger. He should remember M.K.O Abiola and the way the North ganged up against him till he was killed, now they are pushing the blame from one person to the other. This is one thing God blessed Obasanjo with, his discerning and sharp mind.. he never trusted Atiku or the Northerners sirrounding him blindly like PBAT is sadly doing today.. If North should harm or kill the Yoruba President on seat presently, Yorubas will break up this country and that is a fact. What manner of carelessness is this for God sake. |
YoruBads:Let me school you a bit.. the North wanted Awolowo on their side and offered him several "figure-head" positions like what Nnamdi Azikiwe got as a ceremonial powerless President but Awolowo declined.. He gave his reasons that he was in service to be the voice of the people, not to enrich himself like others were busy doing. Awolowo was the complete opposite of Nnamdi Azikiwe who was so particular about wealth and material gains. A British man described Awolowo as "upright" unlike Zik who was being blackmailed by the British Government to do their bidding or go to jail because of the bad debts and other criminal records they had on Zik. It is really laughable for your people to come out and claim Awolowo planned coup when he was very comfortable as opposition leader in the 60s". It's only someone who is not comfortable that will plan to overthrow a Government and all pointers lead to Nnamdi Azikiwe. |
It's now very clear how Abacha, IBB and other Military dictators from the North were able to hold gbos to do their biddings.. what should have been a sober reflection and call for national reconciliation suddenly turned to a thing of joy and celebration for the Igbo folks. It's as if IBB is now the saint and we all must take his own account as the truth and throw away all other "truths". Moreover, IBB didn't say the Januray 15, 1966 coup wasn't an Igbo coup.. his statement that the coup took on an ethnic colouration infact gave credence to the fact that it was an Igbo coup as widely perceived by many Nigerians at the time. |
simpleseyi:Pray not to fall victim to kidnapping, you won't remember mutiu and whatnot story playing out in your head. We are talking of security here, you're making sorry excuses. |
Congrats to the new leader of the pan-Yoruba social-cultural group Afenifere.. we wish him God's guidance and protection in his new role. My own plea is for Afenifere and other Yoruba leaders to come together and find a lasting solution to this kidnapping menace perpetrated by foreigners (of mostly Fulani stock) right inside our forests in Yorubaland. The neglect of Fulanis carryimg arms and other dangerous weapons around the country unchallenged under guise of cattle rearing is what we are facing today, a Southerner can't move around with kitchen knife without getting harrased by security operatives but another ethnic group will carry swords, cutlass, even AK-47 rifle without getting arrested. I'm certain if we (Yorubas) can push for access to firearms (licensed) for protection of citizens, this kidnapping problem will become half-solved. Let everyone have a firearm in their possession that Govt. can track in case of investigations, don't just leave people vulnerable while outlaws go about killing and inflicting serious trauma on innocent Nigerians. The Governors who own the lands should set up their special security task force to comb all the forests and arrest anyone caught hiding therein because they are the criminals disturbing the peace of the South West. I watched the clip of the young prince only to shake head in pity.. this "I don't care attitude" of Yorubas till one falls victim is what is killing our people gradually. Today it's the prince, tomorrow it might be anyone atal. Time to act is now.. convene a regional security forum and allow experts including those in diaspora to offer help. |
Awolowo was framed up for attempted coup plot he knew nothing about while the real coup plotters were in Tafawa Balewa's Government, scheming and strategizing on how to carry out their plan right under Balewa's nose.. The so called ally was enjoying cruise ship ride and holiday abroad while Balewa and all those they ran Government together back home in Nigeria (specifically the non-Igbos) got murdered in cold blood.. yet they want us to believe the blame should go to Awolowo that was in prison and not Zik that was hiding abroad to save his own head. |
Zionmdde:Ask your folks who are so obsessed over Yorubas and what happens in South West if atal they are well.. we won't forget the EndSars destruction of Lagos ordered by Kanu (an Igbo man) in a hurry. If you know what is good for you.. go back to your region and face your leaders in Igboland. Yorubas are tired of your insolence. |
Look at it this way.. The North are at peace because they got their revenge and ruled Nigeria throughout the Military era.. The reason most Yorubas like FFK won't forget the ugly incident and are alerting younger Yoruba generations s because the Igbos have not shown remorse for killing Yoruba Premier and Senior Military Offficers from Yorubaland at the time.. They are still plotting to repeat what they did in the 60s' to Yorubas simply because Yorubas are yet to retaliate and teach them a bitter lesson. If you love them, you should warn them to stay off Yoruba affairs and politics.. a lot has changed and Yorubas won't watch another round of killings targeted at our leaders by a particular ethnic group regardless of what anyone says. Thank God for regionalism gradually coming to force.. if they won't face SE regional govt. but try nonsense with SW regional govt., serious problem go dey and that is the plain truth. |
So how do you explain the refusal of Ironsi (an Igbo man) to try or court martial the coup plotters?.. instead they got promoted same year despite their gross misconduct and murder of non-Igbo ethnic leaders and their families. Let's chip in that same Aguiyi Ironsi empowered his brother Ojukwu to go after Adaka Boro who declared Niger Delta republic separate from Eastern region that same year.. you know how many soldiers from the present day Niger Delta that Ironsi and Ojukwu killed that year, even Boro was penciled for death but got saved by the Northern counter coup that killed Ironsi.. Adaka Boro later pledged allegiance to Nigeria and fought for Nigeria against the Igbos in the biafra war (in revenge to Ojukwu's mideeds towards the Niger Deltans). It's those who don't know the full history, especially the cut and join historians that Igbos can be fo0ling not likes of FFK. |
Iwofa lenu.. let El-rufai continue running his mouth, posterity will judge. For Uba Sani and other former associates of El-rufai to have issues with him shows he is the problem. I remember how he was issuing threats even to the Nigerian Army over herders attacking farmers because they were Fulanis, making unguarded statements because he had immunity as Governor back then. The Senate gave their reasons for not confirming him because he is considered a security risk and failed to get security clearance from DSS and other securtiy agencies, but somehow he felt blaming PBAT will make him garner sympathy and support for his 2027 ambition. He should leave our area boy that is already performing wonders just two years into his administration. As if Mr. President knew Trump would come and end America's import of Nigeria's crude, now our refineries are working, no more pressure on FX to import refined petroleum products from abroad. Next phase is to ensure food security, massive job creation and many more. Area boy that is showing workings is far far better than a terrorist. He should go near America and see what they'll do to him. |
Those who made up the gear and tyres of the "special purpose vehicle" called Labour Party have all left.. EluP is more or less an immovable vehicle now, a mere attraction for tourists and fun seekers. |
This was before the civil war broke out. her language reveals it. Ojukwu sef was so confident till shit got real and bodies started piling up. Never pray for war cos the outcome is usually devastating. May light shine on Nigeria again. Ise! |
Wolexyoshi:You made sense jare . the so called Ordinary president is such an arrogant fellow who now sees himself as one authority or is it freedom fighter. You'll see how the Nigerian Senate will mess him up for this act of disrespect. A whole No. 3 man in Government is who a nobody is putting call to on live program because he owns a radio programme. |
Senator Natasha still has a lot to learn about service..it was very wrong for her to have aired Senate matters to someone like Ahmed Isa who is not law enforcement or a member of the National Assembly investigation panel. She must remember her oath of secrecy and keep Government matters confidential at all times. No point looking for pity party from Brekete family because he (Ordinary President) has no power over Government matters.. the Government can decide to shut him down for good and send him to jail, nothing anyone can do about it. |
Where will you keep likes of David Mark that became Senate President, benefitting from the same democracy he and his boss IBB kicked against during their Military days? The good thing about history is that it makes you aware of where you are coming from, how and why you got to where you are. We must take our history serious and tell the younger ones so they'll understand the importance of democracy and why it should be preserved at all cost. |
Killerofpigs:Normally, I'd just ignore you.. but I need to correct your wrong mindset. If you and your kind don't desire progress in life, others do. That we are not fans of "japa" doesn't mean we don't desire for our country to become great like the developed countries. These animals in human skin who see religion as do or die can't hold us all to ransom. Go and lick their balls all you want, your business and cup of tea. |
He should come out clean.. he wants a docile Southerner that he and his Northern friends can toss around to replace President Tinubu.. such will not happen. Southerners are wiser than El-rufai and his croonies. Since a Southerner was appointed FCT Minister, these muslim fanatics have been going gaga. We heard about their plans to operationalize sharia in the FCT before the current President came into power and dismantled their evil agenda. Nigeria is a secular nation and will remain so as far as the country remains. Useless extremists.. nothing to show for all the monies allocated to the FCT for years now. A sensible SSner became FCT Minister and within two years changes came, many forgotten places are getting developmental projects and the nation's capital is now looking presentable. |
abdulahiMusa:Even the phones we're buying anyhow these days have potential of causing serious harm to unsuspecting users.. in Europe for instance, they have maximum radiation level to prevent tumors and cancers but in Africa or let me say Nigeria, noone is checking.. noone is even interested. One idi0t can just go to China to produce rubbish and stockpile them in containers en route Nigeria. Nigeria is more or less a dumping ground or call it dumpsite for all sorts from across the globe due to leadership gaps and failures of the regulatory agencies. |
Multichoice won't survive what is coming.. I see them exiting Nigeria not long from now and so many of their workers will enter job market to look for jobs Nigerians are resilient but not fo0ls.. whoever is the regional or general manager of Multichoice will soon regret his/her actions |
Angelfrost:They have their men in key places.. even some failed politicians openly drum support for fake drugs producers and sellers without consequences. That's how low we have gone as a society. |
The Northern power monger in PDP won't rest till they destroy the party.. the gap and internal crisis keeps getting bigger by the day just because some see themselves as overlords over South. Any Governor wey wan decamp is free.. |
2cribz:Let me run you through how chemicals interact with our body system in simplest terms.. their effects could be acute or chronic. Acute meaning short term, the ones that you'll see effects immediately (1 - 5 yrs) while chronic means over a longer period of time like 10 - 15 yrs or even more. Most cases of organ failure are due to chronic effects of using fake or expired drugs, in some cases, untreated acute illnesses over time can also result in chronic and terminal illnesses. Summary of the whole thing is everything counts.. everything entering your body system will affect you one way or another, short or in long term. |
NAFDAC should not just stop at destroying fake drugs.. they should push for laws that will make capital punishment like death penalty the punishment for fake drug manufacturers, sellers and dealers. We need to kill them before they'll succeed in killing us all. Either jungle justice or death by hanging will solve the problem. |
