Congratulations Dear,
I am about to book my flight but have been contemplating where to land to avoid plenty question at POE.

Thanks.

brownroses2020:
Hello everyone, I am new here and have silently read through a lot of the advise here. I am 32 weeks and went through the POE at montreal last week. At the POE. I was asked

my purpose of visit - Visiting family and some shopping

How long family had been here - i told him
Have i been to canada before -Yes
The profession of the family members here - i told him
Did i bring gifts for them -No , i ll buy their gifts here
Enjoy ur stay.

P.S i got my tourist visa 2 years ago ( i wasnt married nor pregnant) and visited last year.

I flew Airfrance my pregnancy did not even bother them and my fit to fly letter was not even asked for. I called customer care though and was told i can fly anytime before 36weeks.

I wish all expectant moms luck in their tourism hustle.

P.S any one has any good and affordable hospital contact in montreal.

Good day everyone,
Please which of these offers the least question/interview at POE for a pregnant woman ; Calgary & Toronto? ( any of them can serve as destination)

Thanks for your feedback
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by flow2davis: 3:15pm On Jan 27, 2020
Thanks so much for your feedback.
Have actually spoken with a Dr, who only asked to give them @ POE his hospital contact to call to confirm, but wouldn't give a formal appointment.

Hotstepper:
Congratulations! The choice is urs if u want to notify CiC, however, u will show proof of fund, accomodation arragement anf drs appt at POE. Also, whether to comr with ur family or alone is up to you.

Good Luck

Hello everyone,

I appreciate the efforts on this platform
I need an advice please,
I got my visa 2 yrs ago and have not used it.
Now I am peggy and intend birthing in CA.
So, am I under any obligation to inform CIC prior departure of a modification in my purpose of visit?
Is it better going alone or with family?
Should I just land @ POE with enough proof of funding?

Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I withdrew from college because i just realized it's a private college and as such not legible for Post graduate work permit after paying about 1/4 of the tuition and attended classes only for a month. The college Directed told me he will inform CIC about my withdrawal.

I have secured admission for May 2018, and in the process of securing admission in 2 different public colleges for Jan 2018.

I am worried if CIC won't frown at me if the reported.

Please advise.

Having done your biometrics, you should be ok.
However, ensure that there is no new message under ''Subject'' in your profile.

Dominguez:
Hello House, i need an answer to this question. I applied for a visitor's visa to visit my son in Canada on the 30th of May via the online route. I got my Biometric letter on the 1st of June and actually submitted my Biometrics at the VFS office in Lagos on the 9th of June. Up till this moment, my profile still states that "My action is Required". There is no update yet? Has anybody faced such issue and what should i do
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by flow2davis: 11:28am On Jun 16, 2017

I applied with my hubby online in March, he's just got approved while mine still awaiting.
We applied to visit. I am a bit worried because I'm 34weeks now.

Teefinix3:
Not yet sis....will be leaving on Sunday....I actually wanted to ask the house.....pls ao do we address the fit to fly.....is it to whom it may concern of to the airline?....
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by flow2davis: 11:09am On Jun 16, 2017

Meggito:

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by flow2davis: 4:00pm On May 30, 2017
It wasn’t a favorable outing.

I and hubby were as honest as we could, yet the VO handed us the green paper.
Yes, I told him I will be having my baby.

Transcript Edited….

The Q&A was just flowing that we thought it would end as we wished.

Mission to the state? = Vacation and I will be having my child
Your first Child? = Yes

How long have you been married = +1yr.

Asked what we do and where we work, told him: = Hubby works with a reputable (so..so n so) International firm and myself a civil servant for 6 & 1 yr(s) respectively.

He asked for a proof hubby had traveled before and he provided (W. Europe).

Sorry, you will find the reason for refusing you visa in the paper attached, you can reapply, I wish you goodluck next time… and returned our passports with the green sheet of paper

The rate of refusal was about 99% from my estimation, and the crowd at the Abuja office was like a crusade.

In all, WE Bless God.

Good morning Good People,

I am having plenty delay with Uniport responding to the WES Degree confirmation.
It is acknowledged that the confirmation request from WES has arrived Uniport for over 3 weeks now, yet there is tooooo much sluggishness in doing the needful by Uniport.
Has anyone gone through this?
How much do I expect to pay again if any?
Any assist to follow up on this will be appreciated and I will cover the cost for any assistance rendered.

I need help as Degree confirmation from Uniport is my only challenge for now.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by flow2davis: 4:55pm On May 05, 2017
Hello people,

WES has reached my University to confirm my transcript. My concern is that I don't have my Degree Certificate yet.
Will they honour a Statement of Result?
Will WES and CIC accept a Statement of result in place of Certificate?
Transcript is ready.

Good morning,

Well noted and caution taken.

abujaniv:
You misrepresented yourself on this forum. It's our experience that a person who is dishonest about small things tends to adopt the same aversion to the truth on more weighty matters. This is not a good path, unless it is your aim to acquire a lifetime ban on travel to the US.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by flow2davis: 4:52pm On May 03, 2017
Get a USD card, StanbicIBTC seems faster, buy your USD from the street, deposit the money in your account, then pay with the card.

Graceee:
Please house can one pay for an online visa application with naira debit card (diamond bank precisely)? does it require a dollar prepaid card for the online payment??
TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by flow2davis: 4:45pm On May 03, 2017
Thanks.
But the posts/situations are for different fellows who asked for my opinion so i post their cases here.
Not for me personally.
I give the feedback I get from here to the individuals respectively.... just an attempt to guide them. I have also introduced them to this forum.
So sorry if the posts/questions are misleading or misinterpreted.

abujaniv:
Hello flow2davis. From looking at previous postings, you are asking questions about going to school in Canada, going to school in the US, working in Canada, working in the US, giving birth in the US. That's a lot on one's plate. To be sure, you may not work in the US on either a student or tourist visa.

I arrived about 2 months ago, have been with my brother in another province. Just moved down Toronto for study

goodnews1111:
Was it today you arrived?
You can remain there since you have TRV but u can't work. The condition for work is that you must be enrolled in a DLI.

Morning All,

Please I have a situation.
I was only able to pay the acceptance visa before i was issued visa.
Now I am already in Toronto to resume study in Advance Diploma this May, but unfortunately, my sponsor has delayed making payment for my first semester tuition fee. The school is insisting I make payment before registration or defer till Sept..

So what do I do?
I have the option to defer till Sept.
Will I be in trouble if not actively enrolled in school from now till Sept.?
If I defer, can I be working?
Is heading back to Naija an option?

Thanks all for responses.
