Elantra is very ok ...but honda civic 03 to 05 is perfect for the job .low maintainence and very rugged than camry or Corolla in the same year .... With the civic change the rims and tires 1 size bigger for better ground clearance
Thank you sir

I hope ur brother is rugged and street wise not an ajebo (butter child). Because he will be dealing with
419/yahoo riders, Lastma, local govt touts, airport authority danfo drivers and Lagos drivers. Most people just think it’s to drive and move Lagos.
So if he’s an ajebo and not rugged, just give him 1 month free to test d waters and toughen up. Else ur expectations will be dashed. Also insure d car with comprehensive insurance this first time cos no matter how careful u drive in Lagos especially for someone that don’t know road. Them must touch u or d bad road will remove ur bumper.
Yes you have a valid point, but I believe nothing good comes easy I’ll definitely make him understand that before kick starting. More so, he has a target once that is reached he can choose to stop driving and face his main hustle.
Thank you very much

Yes
Yes
Yes

1. I knew nowhere in lag when I started, Gmap was always in handy for me. I was never afraid how I would get home at night even if I got to a very strange and far places at night. You may get him DL now and let him start driving to few places with Gmap to see how it works. I mastered Gmap before I started just by putting it on while going places. I never had issues with it.

2. 80k monthly is fair and achievable even with minimal work.

Thank you, thank you and thank you, I’ll just forward this directly to him but then, what does DL mean?

No.
There are plenty good riders and there’s really no point talking about them because they don’t give us problems....yet. If we talk about every rider both good and bad, the pages would be around 10k by now. So we only talk about the ones that give problems and possibly alert comrades of behavior exhibited.

We are riders too so it’s not a ‘drivers against riders thing’. People just don’t know how to behave.

Alright sir, overall it was a good read for me was just stating the part I feel an adjustment can be made

Question 1. Google map will help 50% the other 50 is by asking questions and being very careful before taking any traffic decision.

2. I’ll advise u make it 60k for a start then in 3 months time u can make it to 80 or thereabout.

3. Yes u can start with temp card on bolt till the permanent card is out.

Bonus: please avoid corolla.

Asking question and being bold is also what he needs to flow well in this biz. Best of luck
Very concise!
Many thanks, God bless you

And Speaking on getting into the business.
I have a younger brother that I’ll like to start this hustle as well. He’s a very skilled hairstylist, his dreams has always been to settle down in Lagos but he has only been here a couple of times, I will say he has zero knowledge of Lagos axis. So my questions are:
1. Can he drive around Lagos with reliance on just Gmap and other navigation systems only?
2. I intend to upgrade my second car with a deal from my auto dealer for him to use for this work, So how feasible is it for him to remit 80k monthly and still be able to save something good for his intended business
3. And can he register with a temporary Driver's license

And I’m open to any suggestions and contributions
Thanks and God bless

Hello Everyone,
I must commend, this is one of the most active threads I’ve seen here on NL. It was an amazing read as I read through most of your experiences (couldn’t read all though sad). The journey was so educative, informative and very hilarious can’t remember the number of times I burst out laughing, y’all are doing an amazing job. I’m most intrigued with how you help each other out on getting difficult cases fixed, it’s more like a family kind of thing. Make una no change o, una dey do well kiss
But one thing though I noticed most of the experience shared here on riders is mostly on the bad side and only very few users share how kind or good a rider was to them. Reading through many of your shared experiences I personally would have thought most riders are maniacs and a self centered opportunist, and any new driver could possibly have the same notion there by might go into the hustle with an aggressive mentality on the rider
Abi I’m not making sense ni?

Your last sentence though. I won't ague with u. The show is over & we can now see who is the real winner outside the show. Don't forget Erika cashed out 33,000,000 recently in her GoFundMe. Laycon's so-called 30m will be given to him in bits & over a period of time.
U just called her a slowpoke but she is well known in Africa & beyond & has been hosted by Dele Momodu, jideowo, Terry waya, Columbian consulate to Nigeria with her husband, Kiki & more still on the way.
U WEY BE 'MISS HOLY VIRGIN' & SUPER INTELLIGENT, NA WHO SABI U FOR YOUR COMMUNITY? Do u have UpTo 50k in ur account?
ABEG FEM!!!
Do you know what it means to be appreciated, loved and respected? Money can get you a lot of things but not any of those. Laycon has the largest fan base amongst the housemates and as well they are the most loyal, do you think 33m can buy that? Speaking more on getting the bag, do you have an idea how much streams Laycon’s songs have across all platforms? Bet you don’t, cause you’re not an hustler best bet you still depend on stipends from parents and relatives alike. But it’s really disturbing to know a young man like you could pick an Erica over a Laycon yet we complain of how unfair unjust and irresponsible Nigeria Govt has been, whereas most of the youths can’t even make the right choices.
However I have a fiancée and we do have serious romps when it’s necessary but we do well to keep all sessions private far away from the sight of a third person. Something you fav needs to learn. So boy! Whenever you’re picking a side in any fight do well to be a defendant to the team that will add more value to your personality most especially the winning team

But why are u so-called 'omoluabis' very tribalistic? Must everything be about tribe? That was how we ended up having buhari as our president in 2015. Have u folks not learnt any lessons from that?
Since the show ended, Erika has been hosted & interviewed by top journalists & personalities like Dele Momodu, Chude Jideowo, Kiki osibanjo & more who are all "Omoluabis". If Laycon was special why hasn't he been invited, hosted or interviewed by top media personalities? Someone who won the show due to his sickly looks(no pun intended) & public sympathy. But Erika has this natural aura/grace/carriage of a super star that's why everyone wants a piece of her.
As for Osibande a.k.a Trader Moni man to be president in 2023, lemme consult the Fulani cabals in Aso-Rock first.
Ayam Coming....LOL
I’m not surprised at this actually most of you followers of the dumb one are just as dumb (no pun intended grin ) I’ll like you to state on which tasks did your fav displayed any act of brilliancy or contributed to the success of the task in an intelligent way. A girl that speaks like a slow poke, she fought every housemates including her infamously worshipped fvck buddy just for the attention she was not getting. You can troll any other housemate but definitely not Laycon the only thing you can pin your troll on is his look nothing more! However have you seen him in recent time? That null skull girl should consider herself privileged to be compared to Laycon in the first place

Music/Radio / Re: My Review of "Pami" by DJ Tunez ft "Wizkid", Omah Lay and Adekunle Gold by FloxySmart(f): 10:26am On Aug 18, 2020
lablonclacla:
Wizkid is still the greatest musician in Nigeria......forget all this burna hype. When we talk of range i.e how you can easily jump on any genre of song and still deliver well. Wizkid does it 100% e.g this jam called PAMI. He does afrobeats, afro fusion, afro pop, reggae dancehall, Caribbean and so on and so forth.

You see the problem is, time makes us easily forget how good this guy is which is understandable. Another major reason is the fact that wizkid doesn't do giveaways and all and so a lot of influencers don't like him at all. So the best option is to bad mouth him and i guess the best selling of all is the fact that he has Zero lyrics. Lol....well, i would give just five songs that have deep lyrics that you all can go check out.

1. Oluwa loni
2. Joy
3. Mummy mi
4. Thank you
5. Ease your mind

You could say these are his old songs but No.5 was released just last year in his last Ep but it isn't popular, you know why.......Nigerians want vibes and beat more than lyrics.

Let me quote a verse from Ease your mind

"Many thing don really open my eyes
Many things don happen wey don open my mind
Things don happen for my life, we make me realize
Sey, many things go happen, and it's real fine
Never let the small talks but the money get to me
I dey work, I dey pray, omo nothing worry me
I put my body on my grind, let the money control me
Sey, my sound dem dey bus', they can't open their jaws
Some days, it fi be like sey your rain no pour
Hear my brother, even if it be like days too long
Even if it be like sey your light no come
Just ease your mind
You know sey, this life na turn by turn
When your time come, my brother, no go gone
When your thing come, my brother, no go rush
Just ease your mind"

This is a beautiful piece up there that is supposed to garner a lot of reviews but did anybody say anything?? No!! The simple answer is this isn't what we want but Joro and soco is known everywhere lol.

Lastly, wizkid has been in the game for more than a decade and is still the biggest. He is the highest and most streamed artiste in Africa forget all the hype of others. He was the first to fill up the mighty o2 arena in london and also the royal albert hall. He has a day in Minnesota called wizkid day. He was the first African artiste to win BET international act and has the highest BET award in Nigeria. He was the first to win MOBO awards too. The only African to have a song on billboard world chat for 15 weeks straight "One Dance" written by him. The pioneer of Africans getting their award on the main stage instead of back stage. He was part of those who made live band for a secular musician in Nigeria attractive. He has tbe biggest shows in Nigeria. Facially he is the citezt too. See, i no fit finish wizzy catalogue jare.

Summary of all these is because he doesn't hype himself and makes noise or do giveaways doesn't change the fact that he is the biggest African artiste.

I'll drop a list of 100 songs of wizkid that blew and you will please counter it with anyone who has as much hit as this BEAST we are underating.
