I taste the “boiling stew” from time to time to check for “rawness”!
You can also perceive the aroma of the stew when the rawness is leaving the stew.

VERY, VERY VERY LOW HEAT in a NON-STICK POT!

Here is what I do. You can try it too.

Blend the tomatoes and other ingredients. Pour in a pot and boil for about 10mins (depending on quantity). Once it begins to boil, remove from fire and pour gradually into a fine sieve. The finer the sieve, the better.

The water just drains off and the tomato remains on the sieve. Tomato Puree, they call it.

I'll post pics the next time I'm cooking.
