Your other points are on point but for this not necessarily. You don't know how long the previous owner held it, you don't know how many names he had in his portfolio. Most guys who have large portfolio usually sell off their names retailer price to be able to pay for reg fees.

Some folks will tell you that while the transaction is ongoing should the name sell, they will give you 100%, some will mention a figure, some will tell u the deal will be called off.

The most important thing is make a decision on principle & stand by it regardless of the outcome.

Am posting these here for those that are loosing patience in these Industry, or those that are yet to get there first sales and also the newbies in our midst..

First of all I will start by saying patience is Golden

If you have a good name and you are persistent Sir, calm down just ease your mind sales will come. Don't be in a hurry to sale, you might be selling out a one time name that was meant to change your life.

God might be using the delay it to test your patience, Good things don't come easily, get might also be shielding the sales coz If it comes now you will useless it, I remember how I spent my first two sales, I thought I had arrive, but the ones I sold in January and February nobody had to tell me what to do with the money,

These March I was on a buying spree for sometimes and I got Like 5 or 6 different offers and when I send my price the won't reply ... probably coz i am asking for three figures (Not GEO) and what I tell myself is that, these is not my end-user and I move on...

I got a two word domain name, geo to be precise.
I did a little outbound and an enduser told me why did I do this to her, that she was sick, and that the domain name is hers. That she forgot to renew it. That she can send me her doctor's report and medical expenses to show she was sick.

I asked her to pay 3oo for it, she said it can't happen that I should have mercy, I asked her to pay 99 for it, she said that the renewal of the domain is just 25, and she didn't reply me again.
I am still holding on to the name....

Third one....

I got a name and did an outbound, a guy started insulting me that it's his name and he did drop it on purpose. That I should stop disturbing him to buy....

I have Burbank Vacation rentals / king I tried outbounding but I was just seeing Ads and big branded company everywhere, when I used Google maps I saw some but the are resided in Burbank..
