My neighbour (and elderly lady) had to postpone her trip abroad and travel down to kano for this, i really hope it would be worth it cos she isnt even sure if the money would still be paid. Heard a lot of heartbreaking stories from her, right from Obasanjo who liquidated Nigeria Airways and blatantly refused to settle the workers in Nigeria but settled those abroad due to the laws over there. Many people have died without receiving their payment and Jonathan who was willing to pay backed out cos the then minister of aviation tripled the figures.

Now succour had come for them, i hope they are paid soonest, #ThisIsNigeria #smh

Global recession does not necessarily translate to a particular country recession provided the country source of income is not affected. Nigeria lives on oil and that period of 2007 and 2009 quoted, oil reached a record of $140. How could Nigeria be in recession at that time. If the whole world is in surplus but what you depend on is not high demand again or its price drops you will be in recession, except you have other strong sources of income or good savings

This is Lagos not some Delta this Kogi that. Lagos generate billions every month from Lagosians, they deserve better. Lagos is goin backwards and we cannot stand that. That Bogije spot, I was there 4:30am this morning going to work and I still got stuck woth hold up. And to think I will still have to pay N400 every day at the tollgate after collecting tax on my income is unfair.

My take: if Ambode loses tomorrow, he will join another party. Hence, he has started opening can or worms right from now.

Why use so much cash on business/purchasing buses that private individuals are more than ready to invest in thereby reducing attention to provision of critical infrastructures to needy areas of Lagos State. Look at Lekki-Epe expressway..... commuters pay everyday....yet it is traffic and bad road Once it rains, from Sangotedo to Ibeju is a mess. This Lekki-Epe expressway deserves more attention than is getting considering the fact that billions are paid every years at lekki tollgate.
