Lol yes. For all lawyers who want to migrate via Permanent Residency route, you'd evaluate your LLB (but not with WES oh. You'd use IQAS, CES or ICES evaluation bodies). These bodies evaluate your LLB degree as a Professional degree/it is in the same category of Masters via evaluation. It gives more points.

WES evaluates LLB as merely a Bachelors degree. Lol, not only for Nigerian lawyers. So many people around the world that have LLB sometimes ditch WES and use the other evaluation bodies I mentioned above.

There's even a court judgment that WES should recognise LLB as a professional degree, but them nor dey hear sometimes except you challenge them. Who get time for that nonsense?

Even in that Canada jurisdiction, anyone that wants to migrate there via PR route, an LLB is required for evaluation. It's evaluted as a professional degree. Same as Doctors and Pharmacists. They get more points than the ordinary Bsc degree.

Yes, he was my senior. I was just 2 classes from him.

Loool. He's ALWAYS been that way, even in University. He made First Class in Uni, First Class in Law School and bagged so many prizes in Law School.

But he's an all rounder though. He was good with books, sports and also had a girlfriend then so the equation was balanced.

Sure, she has done well for herself. Tensa20 really admires her as she was/is smart enough to stabilise her residency status even before graduation. Rather than hustle H1B, she is now on the way to Green Card status. I admire her for acing the GMAT notwithstanding her law background.

Watch this interview from mrpossidez and he also worked at such places and mentioned how no one knew about them when he was interviewing for jobs in the US. He did his masters at law at Harvard and some of his classmates from Africa had to go back home because they couldn't get jobs. She did a lot of work to get that. She's someone I admire a lot and I am following her footsteps.

Law is territorial and you have to write the Bar exams of the state/country first before you can be licensed to practice in that geographical location.
