AutosRe: How Can I Trace A Car Dealer Who Scammed Me. by foolbuster: 10:37am On Oct 06, 2019
ponching:
Thanks guys. I appreciate your efforts.
He is asking if we can meet and sign an agreement but I know he won't show up.
What if you catch this guy and there is no money?
It has happened to me before. Dude made away with 630k. He said he was duped and has lost more than that but i never believed him, i was totally convinced i was scammed. Took months and resources to finally catch this guy. But brother we checked all his accounts, cash in there was not upto 50k total. We said his friends or relatives will contribute, for where ? Dude was in police cell for a month plus and the few of his friends that came brought 100k total and were begging he should be released to go hustle the money to pay. Police was not buying it. They said either the money or he goes to prison to pay for his actions. Meanwhile dude's health was seriously rapidly detoriating. I just felt pity for the guy, any time i see him inside that cell, body just dey do me somehow. I just told the IPO to free the guy abeg. his friends shorteed him. To cut the story short. Guy later paid 300k total over 2 years and that was it.

So sometimes its not really about catching the guy but about recouping your loses. But catch him first sha aaa. I know you will recover your money.

Nigerians have always disassociated themselves from freedom fighters. It’s not something new to us.
Honestly i don't understand how you guys think. Its a reflection of why our society is the way it is today. People that reason like you are an overwhelming majority.

Don’t get me wrong bro I’m also sad about this but it’s NIGERIA.

Instead of crying I’d rather laugh. Going out to protest will only get me shot.
Then the least you can do is lend your voice and show some encouragement online and not make jest of someone courageous enough to fight for you.

Okay, I stay in my room and make millions with just two naughty skills.

1. Graphic design
2. Book writing

If you have these two skills and you know how to use them well, you can never be broke.

Last night, I switched on Photoshop and designed the below. The book will be on Amazon soon.

That, my dear, is money to be made. Be wise and stop wasting your time on bet and downloading porn.

I repeat, be wise. If you don't wise up now, you'll end up just like that man in your street that loves to beg.

If I can do it, you too can — I'm not special. I make money while I sleep, so do the same.
You have crimimal tendencies. Just so you can get people to view your thread thats why you mislead them with deceptive titles. If you can be this bold or see nothing wrong with this kind of deceit then you undoubtedly have criminality in your veins.

Kindly leave that boy alone — he is depressed and frustrated. He called me a fraud because I sell a book he can't afford.

The moment he can't afford what you sell, he will hunt you for life by calling you a criminal, arrogant, fraudster, etc. Mark my word, he will keep monitoring you.

If I can get any info on how to arrest him, I'll be grateful. For calling me a fraud just because he doesn't have the money to afford what I sell, I'll cut his tongue. All I need is his room/home address and his picture.

God knows I'll catch him despite how many years it takes me. It's just a matter of time.

Below is the car am currently driving. It is a 2012 Lincoln MKX... and in summary, our story was love at first sight... and we are still in love grin

Does the body look like its nothing to write home about? And do you see the mileage? Yes... you are seeing it correctly at 377,194 kms (234,377 miles) (have already driven it for more than 4000kms since I bought it just over a month ago). Yet the engine purrs like a cat, transmission shifting is smooth, suspension is excellent and zero dashboard lights. If this car was shipped to Nigeria by some dealers, the odometer will be rolled back to 70k kms or thereabouts and buyers won't notice because it is clean in and out. Afterall, how many people in Nigeria actually do VIN checks before buying cars?

CrimeRe: Edo Traditional Worshippers Beat Pastor Destiny Eguavoen For Disobeying Order by foolbuster: 4:45pm On Oct 01, 2019
monex:
The traditionalist was wrong for infringing on peoples' right to free movement and not just the assault. The law of the land was not disrespected by the pastor. He was prevented from worshiping after 8am. He deserves no assault.

Same way we frown at pastors desecrating traditional shrines and heritage sites in the name of "liberation" is the same way we should frown at traditional practitioners infringing on people's right to movement and threatening with death.

You would do well to make no assumptions about my religion or the existence of a colonial mentality within me.
That one broke no law by their actions does not equate to the action being right and without consequences. Dont get it twisted.
You can do wrong even without breaking law.

You have to respect the traditions of the land. Especially the ones that is openely recognised, practiced and respected by its people. It is wrong to do otherwise and there may be consequences.
CrimeRe: Edo Traditional Worshippers Beat Pastor Destiny Eguavoen For Disobeying Order by foolbuster: 3:02pm On Oct 01, 2019
monex:
the pastor has freedom of association. The chief priest has no right to stop people from moving after 8am or from worshipping after 8am.

Stop being trado-sentimental.

The only person who has disrespected the laws of the land is the chief priest and his rascally youth
The chief priest has no right to stop people from moving before or after any time no more than a local vigilante has the right to proclaim same but i bet you and the pastor would have respected the local vigilante's order had it come from them.

Your subconscious colonial mentality is in the way. You have to work on it to free yourself.

Please there is no such word as "trado-sentimental". One can not be sentimental towards his/her tradition simply because it is whom they are. It is like saying a word like "self-sentimental" can you be sentimental towards yourself? As a matter of fact it is you that is Anti trado-sentimental if there is such a word.

If you can go as far as inventing words very easily to deny or discredit your heritage without even realizing what you did then It says a lot about we as people and our state of mind.

Do you know that traditional rulers have no role in the constitution, i mean zero. But they are still recognised by the political class and society, why? I mean shouldn't it be illegal then.

Anyway I never mentioned anywhere that the traditionalists were right, ok?
The pastor was wrong to disrespect the culture of the land. All he had to do was be humble and respectful. No one was preventing him from worshipping.

The traditionalist on the otherhand were wrong for physically assaulting the man even though he deserves it.

Watch bad things happen to each and everyone of the traditional worshippers that raised their hands on this Man of God, before this year runs out.
No be curse, na FACT.
As long as God lives.

Really?!
Now Slap yourself 3 times and go back to bed.

!
This will be hard for you to grasp but God does not wish or do harm to anybody. So that hatefilled vile you vomitted from your selfish warped mentality can only come from a bitter soul. And until you begin to ask questions you will remain a fool until you pass away.

The pastor refused to respect the culture of the land but foolishly held the culture of a foreign people in higher regard. Funny enough its the Same foreign people that enslaved his fathers and raped his mothers for centuries. If that isn't buffoonery please tell me what is.
The irony is that even his adopted foreign beliefs tell him to respect the culture of whatever land he finds himself in. But he will practice the thing even more than the original owners. As if all the other churches in that area are stupid.

You want bad things to happen to them but good things will happen to the pastor if he disrespects their beliefs. Please dont be silly !!

My friend has one the UMU I think, I haven’t driven it but he doesn’t complain about it.
You see how people make unfounded statements on what they have little or no knowledge about.

If you have never owned or ever driven an innoson vehicle before and your friend has one that he doesnt complain about. On what basis do you now conclude they are not reliable? Or that the european counterparts are more reliable.

Trust me if that vehicle was not reliable you can count on nigerians to badmouth that company into oblivion especially considering the fact its imdigenous.
AutosRe: Is There Anything Wrong With Innoson Cars? by foolbuster: 12:39pm On Sep 29, 2019
Lucky4real28:
I disagree on the safety thing someone posted, a friend own one and it’s ok, only problem is the car is too expensive and innoson doesn’t do finance aka pss on his cars except bank or other top entity. So therefore you need cash on ground to buy, but why the hell will I buy innoson for 7M when I can get myself a good 2015 venza or a 2013 Benz E350 machine for same price.
By the way the 7M innoson car is ugly compare to any machine 7M will get you for clean Toks and those Toks are more reliable.
Have you driven any innoson vehicle? Do you know anyone that has?

Car TalkRe: Which Benz Model Would You Recommend If Reliability &cheap Parts Were A Priority by foolbuster: 3:13pm On Sep 26, 2019
Ayodaygee:
I learnt to drive while driving a Mercedes Benz (200D) with a manual transmission, maybe some 15 years ago. So I think I must have forgotten the balance and feel you have driving a Benz.

Fast forward, to two weeks ago and I had to assist a friend with driving. A part of the role was to help drive a Mercedes Benz E220 to convey people to and fro an event.

Well, the experience when compared to cruising my "Accord" was miles apartgrin.

Ever since, I have not been able to get my mind OFF getting a Mercedes Benz.

Now, you get to hear how expensive it is to maintain one, how expensive the parts are....but its been difficult getting actual figures to this.

Upon calling a parts dealer, he advised one stays away from the C180's (4 cylinders) and go for the C240's and C320's (both 6 cylinder). He claimed their Engines were affordable in the range of N100K - N120K and that the C180's were problematic.

How true are these?

So here am I, if rigidity, reliability, ease of maintenance and affordability were priorities which model would you recommend?

Which Benz model even comes close to the ease of maintenance and affordability of parts of a Toyota and Honda?

Which Benz model can you "dare to dream" with?

*Please exclude the high class luxury Benz models, exclude the Jeeps, 4matics and any highly expensive models*

N.B: Existing Mercedes Benz threads are mainly on the driving experience of some popular models.

You can state the model, year, cost of engine, gearbox, AC compressor and fuel pump and parts that needs to be replaced often.
Point blank there is no benz that is cheap to maintain. Unless its a 15 year or older model in which case it is understandable why the maintenance cost is reasonable given its age(that is assuming it has not been abused ooo).

If you want to drive a newer benz you have to decide if you want fun and exciting driving at the cost of expensive maintenance. That is the hard truth. Whats worse is the newer models keep becoming less and less reliable but more and more better driving experience.

Since you are coming from an accord. Be prepared for more expensive spending and more frequent visits to kazeems that is the price you have to pay for the benz badge and thrilling driving. Unless you opt for older models.
