Many people bragging about using VPN clearly don't know how Twitter earns. The bulk of their income comes from ads which has been heavily affected by the suspension.
Twitter is already breaking but trust our ipob idiots to keep bragging for them just like they how they hailed Trump all the way to his defeat |

YouWillNotWin: You really think they are begging ? Trust me , the US Government is involved, this is the last statge before they start imposing sanctions on Buhari and team.
Also, remember TWITTER INSISTED ON FREE and #OPENINTERNET. Twitter will never chose your useless leaders over their millions of progressive followers in Nigeria, not in a million years.
No budging.
One thing I admire about ipob idiots is their distinct skills on self-deception. Where was this same "free internet" when they banned TikTok and Huawei? Where was their sanctions when Israel was destroying media houses anf killing civilians in the process? I have come to realize that many ipoop and other enemies of this country simply want us to return to colonial era. They want us to lick the smelly butts of white men just like how they did to Jonathan and Israelites. Tufia! |

My only regret is that the ban isn't permanent. Even USA that is complaining cannot tolerate what Twitter is doing in Nigeria. I remember when a lady threatened Obama on Facebook some years ago. She was promptly banned by Facebook and the cops picked her up. During the US elections, merely making a tweet to discredit the electional process prompted many deletions by Twitter on the grounds of fake news (compare that with the amount of lies that were peddled during EndSars protest that Jack openly endorsed). They also banned many Twitter users that supported the attack on capitol Hill (which didn't kill any officer or burn a police station/electional office).
Now these same people are showing support to terrorists that openly celebrate destruction of Nigerian lives/facilities and just when the president stated his plans to treat these criminals with the language they understand, Twitter suddenly remembered its rules and deleted the president's tweet. They should be fully banned. |

ityP: But your idiotic Garba Shehu stated that the ban wasn't directly tied with the deletion of the president's tweet na. Plus, other countries have permanently banned twitter and twitter didn't bat an eye (more prosperous nations than our useless country). You get banned because you're BMC; we report you guys regularly. We no dey tolerate your very foolish tweets. And please, it's not chest beating, Nigeria's economy go hear am if the ban continues, in fact, the screenshot below shows that our economy hear am just few hours of the ban. It won't affect twitter. If Una talk too much, twitter will just buy the country and turn Buhari to bot This is one trait of of some monkeys here. Once you disagree with them, you become a Buhari supporter. Check some of my posts for reference, I'm a big critic of this government but unlike many idiots here, I do mine with tact and I praise the government when it does something right. You can insult Garba and Buhari from now till tomorrow, I'll just laugh (or even agree with you). I don't know much about the cost of the ban, but I do know that Twitter is also losing so much money that could have been generated from adverts. And anybody with half a brain knows that Twitter doesn't have enough to buy even a quarter of this country. Twitter is not Google or Facebook, dummy |
Politics › Re: #TwitterBan: Twitter Deletes Nnamdi Kanu’s Tweets by FoolishBoy419: 11:49pm On Jun 05, 2021 |
ityP: They didn't remember Kanu's tweet. It wasn't reported. It was after Buhari's tweet was deleted that you BMC started reporting Kanu's tweet and hence, the deletion afterwards. And who told you that using VPN means twitter will have less revenue? Lol. VPN no dey blur out location, it changes it. Instead of the foolish country, Nigeria, we come dey show for U.S, U.K, Canada, etc. Twitter lost nothing. In fact, their value appreciated from the depreciation they had few days ago. Nigerians were trending in most countries of the globe, it was sweet to see. Also, Kanu has more sensitive tweets, but because you BMC do not want to do the right thing and report, it will still be up. If Naija govt get mind, they should permanent the ban. Lol, even them know say dem no fit. Where else will they post their lies and propaganda? So in your dictionary, disguising locations does not mean it's being blurred out? I made it clear earlier. With all the bots and the massive following of Namdi Kanu, there's no way you can tell me that Twitter never saw those comments. Not when even ordinary people like myself can get banned without being reported by any individual. And when did the ban even become effective? Something was banned at 11am today and you're here talking about appreciation. Also, unless you lack exposure, you should know that suspension is the standard adopted in most places. Political party members, news outlets, football players, presenters, etc are hardly ever banned permanently for an offence. Its not about fear or anything, its the norm Mr Chestbeater |
Politics › Re: #TwitterBan: Twitter Deletes Nnamdi Kanu’s Tweets by FoolishBoy419: 11:22pm On Jun 05, 2021 |
ityP: Which results? This is not the first time Kanu's tweets have been deleted. You can check. Twitter hasn't learnt any lesson abeg. Buhari is the one that has learnt a lesson. He will think twice before posting any nonsense on twitter. First, he was afraid of our comments, he now went and blocked commenting. We decided to deal with him by reporting. He should tweet another controversial nonsense. If twitter had learnt their lesson, they wouldn't have tweeted what you see below. They no send you or Nigeria. Their net worth go buy this country What lesson is that? They disrespected him and he replied with 10x more firepower to the point that they had to remember Namdi Kanu and his cohorts. So to you now, that post by Twitter means they were unfazed? What does "deeply concerned" mean in your language? I hope you are also aware that using VPN means Twitter will have less revenue? They sell your data to advertisers and with your location blurred out, things wouldn't be straight forward for them. |

ityP: The only person who wants our downfall is this old man. He is the only one breeding the disunity that you're accusing twitter of capitalising on. And no, the old fool didn't respond well. In fact, if he tweets another nonsense, myself and others will flock to report it and it will be deleted. And no, twitter no send the ban. Their value even rose during the ban while our economy dipped more The last time I checked, a group of idiots started calling for secession months before he was sworn in (in 2015) so we do know who wants disunity. You are in no position to determine whether the old fool did right or wrong. What we can see here is the results, and the result shows that the Tech Tyrants have learnt their lessons otherwise they wouldn't be deleting tweets from your supleme leeeda. Lastly, show me any authentic report that shows Twitter's profits because what I know is that the ban only became effective around 11am today. |

Kanu's tweets have been deleted now because people started reporting it. Don't be shallow please. Twitter is not your father's house. No be Buhari papa house too. Anyone wey do anyhow for twitter go see anyhow. And for your info, twitter has nothing to lose. In fact, na naija lose sef Reporting isn't the only way social media networks detect violation of their rules. Namdi Kanu used some trigger words that should have alerted their bots and based on his older comments and his amount of retweets, there's no way Twitter couldn't have known. Do you know how many accounts they restricted during the US elections? They only want our downfall and I'm glad that this old man we have responded well. |

plaindealer: This is where I disagree with Twitter and sided with the Nigerian government.
America won't sit on her hands and let any social media platform freely promote the destruction of America or allow any declared terrorist group to foment violence and destruction within the US border.
I've never seen Al-Qaida on any social media platform calling for the killings of soldiers and or celebrating the deaths of innocent citizens in America.
Twitter won't allow it and America won't tolerate such blatant anti-American atrocities on any social media and it won't be because of free speech, it's going to be because of safety and National security.
How do you allow a terrorist group to freely call for the destruction of a sovereign country, promote violence and killings and so on.?
This is the right call by the Nigerian government.
God Bless Nigeria. It's the painful truth! Don't let any insult from those mad dogs bother you. No sane country would sit down and let Twitter become a breeding ground for terrorism without limits |

You guys are just brain-dead idiots. No wonder you guys drink his urine and lick his balls. Many of you slowpokes probably thought twitter will keep giving you preferential treatment and Nigeria would be left speechless. It's a big step in the right direction. If twitter had banned both Buhari and Namdi Cownu, that would have made sense. But the bastards and their bastard supporters thought they could keep fueling destruction in the country with no repercussions. When the capitol rioters were about to unleash havoc in their home country, they were quick to act but these same bastards promoted endsars even as jails were being broken and now, it has gone to the level of banning the president anf allowing a terrorist to threaten soldiers of a sovereign nation. Twitter is out of its mind. |
Politics › Re: Finally Twitter Is Down by FoolishBoy419: 1:24am On Jun 05, 2021 |
odduduwa: Only two persons commenting and quoting each other , you need trailer load if stupidity to be a supporter of buhari . Sanctions loading for this tyrant, time to start using hospitals in Saudi , Iran and Afghanistan Well, many of you guys are clearly stupid. I think that's why you think a whole country would join a private firm in a battle of supremacy against another country. You don't need to support Buhari to understand that those bastards (twitter) and their bastard supporters in Nigeria are only after the downfall of this country. If Namdi Kanus post promising to kill Nigerian soldiers can be allowed to stand, there's no reason Buharis comment (which only threatened terrorists) should be pulled down. It's time to start put a stop to their madness. They did the same thing last year when they helped to promote fake stories against the armed forces during the endsars protests. They are clear enemies of the country |
