The results that came out from SE were unbelievable. It's either there is no UGM and sit-at-home or the results were tampered with.

UGM crisis is self-inflicted, and we both know that.

The election is questionable indeed. Not that I care but I find it hard to believe that APC won in Zamfara and got that many votes in Katsina. It's either the reports about banditry that we have been hearing in those areas were all PDP lies or the results were tampered with.

I'm not questioning the turnouts, Im questioning how APC got so many votesin those ravaged states. I did expect an APC victory but I don't understand how they are okay with their present situation. There's a lot of apathy in this election. Most of us were ready to die for Buhari in the past but his colossal failure has made everyone to lose hope in the country. The quality of candidates available didn't help matters as well.

Ain't Ekiti state Christian dominated? If you understand hausa you will know that there no way Christians will dominate an "Angwan Fulani". That supposed to be a Fulani enclave. And it's a big lie to say that Christians dominate Kwangila and Samaru, even Wusasa.

Southwestern Muslims and Christians are the least bigoted people I know. You can't use them to predict the behavior of other christians in other parts of the country.

And for you to say that "Fulani" being included in the name of a town means it can't belong to christians shows that you know nothing about Kaduna and northern Nigeria in general. Let me ask you, are you aware that in the middle of Kanuna North, we have towns called "Unguwan Yero" and "Unguwan Gado" which are 90% occupied by Christians?

Bassawa, and Wusasa have always been dominated by christians. You can consult anyone that actually lives in Zaria for confirmation. If you go to Aviation in Zaria and towards the the town facing it, you would cover several kilometers without seeing any woman in hijab. As for Samaru, I said some parts (polling units) are christian-dominated and when you go past the railway on Dogon Icce and head towards Bassawa, it's almost only Christians you'll be coming across.

Nothing like fake results. Majority of northerners are not impressed with the candidates presented by the major parties, myself included. In 2015 and 2019, even frail, old men and women were motivated to go vote for Buhari but things have changed now.

I don't believe in any candidate but if Jagaban doesn't win, Atiku must win at all costs. The kind of insults the north took from Igbos yesterday on Facebook is shocking. Is it by force to vote for Peter Obi? I wish Kwankwaso wasn't in this race so that both Tinubu and Atiku would beat him by a very wide margin

Many of them think we don't know what we are doing. If you check Sahara reporters page, any post where the north massively votes Tinubu or Atiku in a polling unit, you'll see them calling us names (beggars, almajiri, abokki, Malu, cow, Fulani, etc) in the comments section. They are not even patient enough to wait for the final result before removing their fake skin.

You guys need to widen your eyes. Peter Obi still has to even out the wide margin by which he's losing in the core northern states and don't forget that northern votes ALWAYS dwarfs votes from the South East so the polarization might be deceiving you.


If there's anything I can say so far, it is that Peter Obi is doing free work for Atiku because without him splitting SouthWestern and North Central votes, Tinubu would have easily defeated him.

Speaking as a Northerner with no preferred candidate here.

From most of my observations online and offline, it is likely that Atiku will take 60%, Tinubu will take 25%, Kwankwaso 10%, and Peter Obi 5% (thanks to Southern Kaduna and parts of the NE). This for the NE and NW only. Obi would do much much better in the NC.
