Please with which airline can I get the best deal to Calgary? I intend to leave in the second week of January. |
Walking on water is not easy. Not too many people have the ability. Let’s see, there’s Jesus, and well, that’s about it. Unfortunately for one pastor on the West Coast of Africa, his attempt to become the second man to make this impossible feat a reality cost him his life. Pastor Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation that he was capable of reenacting the very miracles of Jesus Christ. He decided to make it clear through way of demonstration on Gabon’s beach in the capital city of Libreville. Referencing Matthew 14:22-33, Kabele said that he received a revelation which told him that with enough faith he could achieve what Jesus was able to. According to an eyewitness, Kabele took his congregation out to the beach. He told them that he would cross the Kombo estuary by foot, which is normally a 20 minute boat ride. Sadly by the second step into the water Kabele found himself completely submerged. He never returned. This is not the first incident of this nature in Africa. At Ibadon zoo in south-west Nigeria, a self-proclaimed Prophet claimed to be able to do what the Daniel of the bible did by walking into a den full of lions. Though he was warned numerous times by zoo keepers, according to NG Newspapers, the Prophet thought of them as nothing more than enemies of progress. The Prophet, with a crowd of people watching, put on a long red robe and proceeded to enter the cage full of lions. Within seconds of opening the door, the lions ripped the Prophet from flesh to bone. The bible should come with a warning label, “Don’t try this at home.” Source: http://allchristiannews.com/pastor-tries-to-walk-on-water-like-jesus-then-drowns-in-front-of-his-congregation/

Seunzz: Yes Coza runs two services. I was one of the foundational memebers while we worship at Kwara Hotel, Ilorin, before moving to a building off Tanke,Tipper garage, previously used as a club(sorry can't remember the name atm). Actually the church erected a new building on the property years after. Stopped attending COZA only some 2-3years ago when i felt i needed a change. I'm still trying to come to terms with all these allegations cos' i used to have a fiance in that same Pastorial care unit way back then. I knew something was up when Pastor wole, Pastor Flo an even Pastor Modele herself didn't help me talk some sense into her head when she started acting up.Wonderland |
To start with, is CU even a school? Even western schools that they are trying to emulate in standard don't give these meaningless rules (no phone, no cooking, no this no that...). If you want to restrict students from a particular sites online why not put a firewall for example? Too many senseless rules in that school that only the kids of the In as much as I don't support what the boy did, I still hope he wins. |
See the video on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XOLOLrUBRBY and or read it here http://www.crowdrise.com/InnovateSalone. This is an example of what I'll call a project. |

miteolu: I CANT QUIT A JOB WHEN I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANOTHER JOB. Yes you can, only you have not got the right motivation. Afodot0022: ha, my job attimes could be so irritating, frustrating and stressful..... Now i dont work wit full capacity cos they dont appreciate ur effort. Mole waku jo.Very wrong approach. Always work at your full capacity as if you are doing your own personal work with a purpose. |
AjanleKoko: Many jobs are not monotonous. Most sedentary (desk) jobs are.True, many jobs are not monotonous but most jobs are and not necessarily the sedentary jobs alone. From field telecoms specialist/officer to office IT, they are all monotonous. IMHO, the only set of jobs that tend not to be monotonous are those in the line of R & D |
As far as I know, the only competitor with RIM (or should I say BB) is iPhone. Every other phones......... BB does much more than pinging. Wonder why many big companies in the western world use BB as their official phones? Although many are considering switching to iPhone. Check this out before you say BB is this or that. My primary reason of using a BB is from the safety point of view. You may not understand this if you live in Nigeria anyway. |
Wily+Wily:Guess you wrote it. |
Ileke-IdI:Here is one of the many talks on the coming global recession... http://www.businessinsider.com/the-new-recession-is-here-and-it-cant-be-stopped-2012-7 |
Ileke-IdI:The funny thing is that a lot of people believe the world is recovering from recession. Little did they know that recession is just about to start..... am not talking about Nigerian economy now but world economy. |
I gave my 4 year old an android tablet as her birthday gift. Personally I was surprised at how she navigates it after a few days. The earlier you expose them the better. If you don't tell them at home, if you don't expose them at home, hundreds of people will do it for your outside. Can you say you won't own an LED TV at home because you have kids or you won't subscribe to a satellite TV cos of your kids? Yes you can set parental control on TVs but so also you can restrict sites on the internet. Bottom line is train your child well from the beginning. Help him/her to identify the various hazards in life. Hazard prevention starts from hazard recognition. |
There is no 'juju' in Africa, especially in Nigeria only mysteries. How will science explain the disappearance of all the (117 or so) skulls? If all bones were not burnt to ashes how come all skulls were burnt to ashes or were they blown away by the wind? Is the skull the softest/weakest/least heat resistant bone in the body? Was the bomb targeted at the skulls? God help Nigeria. |

Happy New year. If you look back at the out going year, what would you say God has done for you and if you look ahead to the New Year, what would you want Him to do for you? For me, God has really been faithful and good to me. He has taken me to heights I never knew I would reach in three years within the span of four months. He is just starting with me. I know by His grace, next year will be a year of blessing and plentiful harvest. My wish for the New Year is that I may know Him and the power of His ressurection the more. God bless you all in the New Year 2007. |
