Shma: A mall is more than enough, those others can be a fallacy, they might end up bringing other designs or fail to build them completely. this is sarit center mall, See the real design.
Banks are already building high-rise there. The skyscraper will not be built now due to some reasons but others will.
Shma: don't deceive people with this renders image again I know this is one mega fancy project, the real design was posted by forgiveness, it doesn't have those highrises, even the space alone is lacking.
He is correct. That's the whole plan. I just showed you the mall.
samorobo: SA infastructures before used to be a model every African country wishes to copy but today Africa is looming beyond their primitive level and trying to get infastructures of the modern that is better than anything they can dream of...look at TZ building a fast speed electric train.. Come 10 years time and they would be surprised at the pace the rest if the continent has gone...if there is anything I can say, it would be this..Africa will become a serious hotspot for infastructural development post -covid as investors will rush here in their numbers ..African countries with good reform and investors magnet should be ready..
But those South Africans thinks they will remain the best in Africa. What a joke. Abuja of yesterday is already ahead of all their cities in modern railway.
Is Tanzania building speed train? That's a good one.
I have seen it before but Tinapa is bigger than this though it has been shut down. Once it is sold to the new buyers and start functioning again, it will take back his position as the biggest in West and East Africa.
jl115: They fulfill totally different objectives dickhead!
Kkkkkkkkkk! It doesn't change the fact that Gautrain is mere compared to Abuja SGR.
Less I forget, your mere metro rail in Pretoria is Cape gauge. An old and outdated railway system. We still use that here in Lagos and other cities. Not impressed.
Show me sgr railway system within Pretoria metropolitan area. Good luck finding.
samorobo: They're be surprised at how fast the rest of Africa is catching up...once we complete Lekki deepseaport and that one in Calabar and then uyo...the one in Durban becomes a sick joke..
If we had APC rules Nigeria for the Amount of Time PDP did,Nigeria would have been on another level..I mean look at it, barely 6 years and Infastructures are everywhere..
There are lots of infrastructure development going on during this regime though but I don't fancy his security policy.
If not for this pandemic and past recession, we for don go far.
samorobo: Abuja roads is good but Capetown roads should be competing with those in London...they really tried in developing Capetown...I must give that to them..
Shma: the renders looks wow! But the actual image under construction looks very tiny. Out of 20malls currently under construction in Kenya, i will try pull out one and you'll see the difference,.
This mall is not even close to garden city.
That's just small fraction of the construction and some parts are still under construction.
samorobo: They once used to lead in critical infastructures like this but gradually so many African countries are investing crazily in infastructure and leaving their retrogressive so king ass behind...that why I laugh when people like vanekelvin "use words like can never be better"...
Look at Abuja roads troubling Pretoria..
That one no know wetin em dey yan. Other Africa countries are not sleeping for South Africa but they think otherwise.
Abuja is ranked above Pretoria now. That's the koko now.
See Abuja light rail Pretoria don't have.
Don't forget, Abuja-Lokoja - Itakpe - Warri is under construction.
jl115: -nobody labelled it the fastest train and the Abuja-kaduna rail only has the capacity to go 250kmph however to my knowledge you don't have any high speed locomotives as of yet.
Your fastest train, Gautrain is just 180km/h and it's just 80km. South Africa don't have high speed train too. Only Morocco has high speed train. You can see how other cities have overtaken you in this game.
jl115: - How many lanes does the Abuja - Kaduna railway have? and How many stations?
- I didn't say it was better I said i personally prefer Windhoek, and yes I fully believe you are of the opinion Abuja is better.......except factually in terms of development isn't Just like I prefer Windhoek over Joburg...however that doesn't make Windhoek more developed!
- Yes and Pretoria has more Sport infrastructure than Abuja!
- Its not a fvcking Projection!! the figures for 2019 are there for all to see!
- But you did modify my post You even asked me if you should fix it....which you did in the end
- Yes I do mate
Do you want to know?
Read below. 9 stations, 30 railway bridges, including five box bridges, 250km/h speed train, features both passenger and cargo trains. etc
That's just for the SGR. Abuja still has light rail with 12 stations. How far with Pretoria?
