Most nairalanders now claiming they take 3 litres, 5litres...infact, I consume 50 litres everyday. . . . Me no go carry last |
Dear honourable members of nairaland, I came with my compaints here because I had no other place to run to for a possible suggestion/solution to this serious injustice that have been meted out against students seeking admission into CEP program in Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Please do try and read through. Your ingenious suggestions could help save a despairing and frustrated student. About 50% of over 2000 students who took part in the 2014/2015 UNIZIK CEP(Part Time) pre-admission exam could not access their results in the school's online portal. The results came out invalid. This has caused great frustration to most students, especially those who have sought admission for so many years without success. The CEP forms were sold at N8,000 and the exams were held on 6 Feb, 2015. Prior to the exam, the list of students to sit for the exam came out and next to each name on the list were the 4-digit FORM NUMBERS which would be used to check them in. The exam which was scheduled to start by 8:00am on that day was delayed till around 5.00pm before the OMR sheets(i.e computer answer sheet for shading) and the question papers were brought and students were hurried up to write the exam under stressful conditions. They were made to submit their papers even before the alloted time. Eventually, exams finished very late in the evening and many went home late. Those that came from very far places either 'squatted' at a friend's house or took the risk of travelling at late hours. By the time the results came out, almost all of them came up invalid. The students were frustrated, they tried to follow it up by complaining to the relevant offices or writing letters but all to no avail. Upon inquiry by the students, they were first told that their results were invalid because they failed to fill in their form numbers in the answer sheet. It must be noted here that there was no provision for form numbers in the answer sheet except for registration numbers. It was by the time they were about to submit their answer sheets that they were informed to fill and shade the form numbers in the space meant for registration numbers. By then many have already finished, submitted and gone home. Those still around were prevented from writing any further thing in their sheets as their answer sheets were taken from them. However upon investigation, some of the students learnt from sources in the school management that the machines which marked their answer sheets were faulty, and thus invalidated many results. This was evident in the raw exam results hardcopy which contained the students' scores but with a lot of aberrations and computer errors on some students' names, form numbers, DOBs and other infos which consequently made their results invalid when accessed from the school portal. The students have done all they could, and the school did not appear to do anything about it, and worst of all, the admission list for CEP is out and only few were admitted. So my questions now are: Is it fair? After collecting N8,000 from students, are they not entitled to at least see their results, even though they are not eventually admitted? Was this a method devised to extort students of their money and ditch them at the last minute? What can one do about this right now? Where and how can students channel their grievances and complaints regarding university discriminations and misconducts against them? Thanks for patiently reading through. Hope to get meaningful replies that could save a despairing and frustrated student. |

See how old they have grown.

Ok. |
I dont see how it could affect the relevance or authenticity of religion. Scientific advancement merely points out to our exhibition and manifestation of God's glory and gifts in us. Hmm...btw it seems you are desperate for FP tins. I'm equally ready for FTC tins. ![]() |
However, you must know that religion isn't meant to FORCE you or IMPOSE ON you whom to marry, or even whether or not to abort a pregnancy; religion merely GUIDES you on HOW to choose or what to look out for in a partner or in the case of abortion WHY you should consider giving the developing fetus a chance to live. The purpose is for your own good both in the eyes of God and that of man. But in the end, the choice is still yours. |
Millionaires in the house, plz we need your additional inputs. |
1. Dreamers take risks while millionaires take calculated risks. A person who thinks like a millionare takes calculated risks, they analyze an idea before launching a project. They know that it is not enough to invest - you have to make a return on your investment. Dreamers think that putting money in a venture alone will bring high dividends without considering the risk mechanism. . 2. Dreamers wish things to happen -Millionaires make them happen A person with a millionaire mindset never wait for somebody to approve their actions and they don’t wait for someone to buy them a ticket to the moon. They buy their own tickets and pack their own bags. While dreamers keep waiting for people’s approval. They end up waiting around for life instead of taking action. . 3. Dreamers hang out with people they like while millionaires surround themselves with other millionaires Millionaire mindsets associate with other likeminded people who are more successful than them, receive advice from the millionaire mindsets and also get inspirational support from them. The dreamers prefer people who they like and not those they need to help them become successful. What advice will you get from someone who cannot afford one square meal a day? You’ll probably hear things like “life is hard” and “it is not possible". . 4. Dreamers think they know it all but, millionaires always acquire more knowledge Millionaires always ask “why?” before doing something that others are doing blindly. The key to failure is “I know all about that already”. Dreamers think they know everything they need to know about the market, the industry, customer tastes, how to scale without seeking advice from other sources, undertaking research or learning. . 5. Dreamers rely on luck, millionaires make their dreams come true no matter what Millionaires believe that you either manage your life or life will manage you. They know that life does not respect people - you either control your life or it controls you and it will sail you to unknown destinations. Dreamers dream of becoming millionaires but that doesn’t happen because they simply sit there and pray and hope for money or buy lottery tickets every week. . 6. Millionaires use multiple lines of attack but dreamers put all their eggs in one basket Millionaires are very adventurous. They try anything at least once. The rich never really depend on one flow of income but instead create a number of revenue streams. The invest in real estate, stock markets, emerging markets, and promising startup projects all at the same time. Dreamers, by contrast, put all their effort on one area and when disaster strikes them, they are left with nothing and are back to square one. Dreamers tend to think things will be the same tomorrow as they are today. . 7. Dreamers fear, while millionaires are ready to risk their lives to succeed Dreamers' fear for their personal safety, loses, the economy, the political system or the political climate, or family disapproval of what they intend to do are all factors that hold them back. These hesitations dominate their decision making process. Millionaires are not moved by fear or what people usually perceive as something dangerous. They are ready to die to move their ideas forward. Millionaire mindsets are not perturbed by what people say. They pursue their goals with full vigor until they achieve them. |
