VisaOfficer: Legal Permanent Residents can only file for spouses or unmarried children. As soon as someone becomes a Legal Permanent Resident, she can file a petition -- there's no waiting period.

I heard that legal permanent residents can not file for anyone until they become US citizen. I confused, Can you please tell me how many years do the permanent residents needs to stay in USA before they can file. I don't want to file for anyone yet, just want to know. I've checked Bank of America and Citibank websites and they require minimum bal of $300 every month or 1 direct deposit and bill payment every month. This would not be an issue once I start working and paying bills by His grace but I just want to know if there are other banks that come with maybe more benefits and are more pocket-friendly.

24en: Hello u shall hand it together with the envelope at the port of entry to immigration so take good care of it and the envelope.it it got missing u are finished.

Thank you,we have handed it over to the immigration officer,but what trouble me is that,the alien number and the case id that we will use to pay for our gc was written on the sheet and we didn't have the copy,so we dont know how to pay for it without these numbers.

Yusmash00: Its depend on the kind of phone you wanna buy. You can bring the fone u re using in Nigeria if its unlocked and still good.

chio: My advice to those that Change their address @ de port of Entry to a new address and is expecting to get their Green Card at the new address
make sure u call them also.
Changing ur address @de port of entry alone may not work.A friend of mine that came earlier to changed is addy @port of entry and the GC was still sent to the Old addy.

Just five days after your interview,there is nothing like alert, as for me,I did my interview on Monday 23rd of Sept and I picked up my Visa on Monday 30th of Sept, just five working days. But remember if the visa is not picked up after 30 working days it will be returned to the embassy. You can go any time just make sure is 5 working days after your interview and is not up to 30 days before you go for it,hope this help.

. You are going to pay 12k for consultation and the least fee for vaccine is 8500k,there is the one of 10k,12k but 8500k is the least,it now depends on the vaccine you will be given. Hope this help.

Remmy488: When you get to the POE ie ur airport of arrival tell the border and immigration officers there that ur host's address has changed, it will be updated and ur greencard will be mailed to ur new address. Ur address can always be changed @ the poe but get them notified.
