But on a more straight note...you cannot depict holiness/light/peace/angels/harmony with black...even your instincts as a black person wouldn't let you...it is what it is!

Now Nigeria is the largest black Nation in the world...Black Africa and Nigeria mostly is dealing with entities far beyond what we can handle...But nothing is beyond God...

As much as we need more visionary leaders... We need more of God's intervention...

Some might tag him strong but Dude is just being a clown.

The average white man will rather use machine equipment or robots and lift that thing but of course Africans will rather use their teeth and lift that thing expecting everyone to clap for them. Na why white people get brain pass black people.

Pathetic
And their spines clap back later in life too...

PoliticsRe: Eko Row: Benin People ‘Owned’ Lagos, Awori Paid Royalties To Them - Erelu Abiola by Fortune109(m): 1:34pm On Dec 04, 2023
Babinski:
There are clear elements of misinformation and misunderstanding in Erelu Abiola Dosunmu's statements:

1. That a territory pays tribute to you does not expressly mean you own the territory. In several places in Africa, you pay tribute at times to avoid wars, raiding and invasion. Villages paying tributes to Boko Haram and Bandits to farm and harvest produce are clearly not owned by the tribute collectors.

In olden days Africa, most times it is like a jungle and the stronger person can compel you to pay tribute to avoid problems from him. It doesn't mean he owns you and most times doesn't even bother to establish any administrative post in your village or territory. You simply carry the tributes to him at designated times. That is the case between Benin and Lagos. There was no record of a conquest and Benin people did not "found" Lagos by any stretch of imagination.

2. All Oba of Lagos trace their lineage to Ashipa who was a War Captain of the Oba of Benin. The first Oba of Lagos, Oba Ado was the son of Ashipa. Ashipa has been established to have been a local Awori who existed around 1570 to 1630. It is therefore an undisputed fact that the Benin met the Awori in Lagos and had some relationship with them to warrant an Awori (Ashipa) being a War Captain of the Oba of Benin.

3. It is without doubt that the Benin Kingdom itself (1180–1897), which came after the Igodomido era, was headed by an Oba that came from Ile Ife and was a Yoruba. All Oba of Benin since that are seen as his descendants and consequently Yoruba by origin. It is perhaps this history and relationship that allowed the Oba of Benin to have Ashipa, an Awori (a Yoruba sub-group that migrated from Ile Ife) as a War Captain and which allowed the Oba of Benin to grant Ashipa the trust and permission to establish a Royal lineage in Eko (Lagos).

4. For those speaking about conquest, how do you conquer a people with one of their sons as your War Captain and also permit him to establish a Royal lineage in the territory and be confident their will be no revolt? The Oba of Benin clearly saw Ashipa as being of same root stock (Yoruba) to even trust and elevate him as War Captain in the first instance and same extended to allowing him to "rule" over his Awori clan who are also ethnically Yoruba. It was also that relationship that allowed Obas of Benin to give daughters in marriage to the Obas of Eko (Lagos). If you conquer a people and establish a dynasty over them in Africa, your first choice is to follow a paternal rather than maternal lineage. It is also noteworthy that there is no record of a single blood being shed in the claimed "conquest" of Lagos by the Benin Kingdom in a War Party led by a son of the Aworis who were purportedly being conquered.

5. Prince Ado who became first Oba of Eko (Lagos) was actually a son of Ashipa born of a Benin woman (possibly a daughter or relative of Oba of Benin) and not a SON of Oba of Benin.

6. It is not a coincidence that all the Obas in Lagos from Iduganran (base of Oba of Eko and descendants of Ashipa) to Epe, Iba, Ikorodu, etc are all Awori people.

There is no doubt that Lagos was founded and settled by the Awori people and no amount of revisionist history has been able to overcome that.
Hmm!

An Awori woman actually invited the Benin to Lagos over a land dispute...

truly there was no any record of 'blood lets' by the Benin in Lagos...

Also Conquest doesn't have to be bloody...the fact that you agree to pay tribute and be a vassal state to a more formidable empire is a form of conquest on it's own...afterall if you are sure you can defeat them in war will you agree to pay them any tributes??

The whole summary is that the Lagos Palace is Benin while the People and the Land is Yoruba ...

How?

The Awori practiced Confederacy prior to the coming of the Benins...All Awori families come together to take decisions and the Olofin was the head...any decisions taken at families meeting became binding...

But with the coming of the Benins The Obaship system was introduced and Ashipa (the corrupt form of Eskipas from Benin) became the first King... followed by Oba Ado (which is also a Benin name...Benin is actually refered to as Ado in ancient Ife...their two bodies were taken to Benin after their
demise)...

As I maintained...the Benin only founded the Obaship System in Lagos just like the arrival of Oduduwa from Ife Founded the Obaship System in Benin as the Ogisos era was more like the Aworis Confederacy Prior to the arrival of the Benin in Lagos...

All these are common knowledge to an average year 1 History and International Studies student in Lasu...

Summary also...Benin came and met the Yoruba owners already in Lagos...they asserted their influence and birthed the Royalty...

😊

Even though I'm a mix (Benin mother, Lagos/Yoruba Father)...

Hope you guys understand that Benin was an expansionist Empire like Oyo Empire, British Empire before...and they (Benin) were once in charge of Lagos by Conquest...that doesn't mean they own Lagos alright!

Lagos was/is a Yoruba land!

You have no point sir.

They use terror and soft targets to achieve political objectives.

They are terrorists.
Perhaps if they have used fighter jets too and just bomb those people at the resort while at home before even going to any resort...like Israel does...they would have been seen as proper military too right??

Since they don't have fighter jets and they decide to just break into Israel to fight directly and take war Prisoners...they are terrorists...

Hamas attacks Israeli communities, have you ever heard that IPOB attacked any community?
Although look alike...but the dynamics are different...while one is an agitation for independence/freedoms from a mother country...the other is a separate entity under some sort of occupation...

Unless it gets to a civil fullscale war Ipob doesn't have any justifiable reason to attack other Nigerian people apart from the Government installations they always attack...

It is well!

That's another story entirely!

That's left for their politicians to decide if the war strategy is ok or not...

Still doesn't make them terrorists...

…because they use terror to achieve their political objectives. They’re the textbook definition of terrorists.

Who else would fly paragliders with AK47’s to kill innocent funseekers? Why not directly attack the IDF instead of they were a real military and not spineless cowards looking for soft targets?

Hamas are soulless terrorists.
That's what they can only afford to do... kidnap civilians to negotiate with Israel on terms later...it's part of war especially for a constraint people like they are...

PoliticsWhy Do You Think Hamas Is A Terrorist Group?? by Fortune109(op):
Just want to ask!

Has Hamas ever attacked any other country in the world before apart from Israel??

Has Hamas ever declared to be part of the Global struggle to establish a version of Islam on every part of the world or declared any other Global agenda??

Has any other extremist group ever declared to be part of Hamas or working with Hamas??

Has Hamas ever targeted or killed any non Israelis before??

Has Hamas ever kidnapped any non Israelis before??

If all answers to these questions is No...then why is it too much for you to see Hamas as another Military of a people or a country or a settlement...who are simply at war with Israel??

Why do you always need someone to help you think? Why??
