timekeeper1:No matter how bad Aba is, it is still far better than most acclaimed cities in your region, originally Aba is a well planned city with solid government infrastructure but owning to successive bad leadership dispensation in the state they got dilapidated. Just a good leader is what Abia state need and all these will become a history, remember Onitsha before Mr Obi. Talking about respect. I'll never be an advocate or in support of hypocritical respect which is the order of the day in your region. A a respect that doesn't come from the heart, a respect that is only shown in order to earn approval from the people around. I've been with your people and you and I know that there's nothing like respect in the hearts of your people. 1 Like 1 Share |

TripleOh7:Here I'll quote you and you'll do no shiit about it, your so called history hasn't helped anyone in this bloody contraption neither will it ever help. The people up north whom you're trying vigorously to keep their country together by concocting and twisting history doesn't care if you're alive and wouldn't mind spilling your blood in their onslaught towards conquering and subjugating the rest of the country including your tribe. It baffles me to the bone marrow that the self acclaimed sophisticated touts are the ones shamelessly championing the contradictory unification of hitherto heterogeneous contraption called Nigeria. Keep deceiving yourself with your shallow knowledge of history and continue to rot in this hell called Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Politics / Was Abubakar Tafawa Balewa A Fulani Indeed? by FortuneDeGreat(m): 10:42am On Jun 07, 2020 |
Going by the claims of the leader of miyetti Allah, Bello Abdulahi Bodejo in an interview with the sun newspaper few days ago that the Fulani produced the first and only prime minister of Nigeria which we all know to be Alh. Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the first thing that actually struck my mind is "was ATB actually a Fulani by ethnicity?" It prompted me into going for a detailed information about the ethnicity of the great man, after a careful study on that I was convinced that the Fulani are either laying claims on other component groups in their region or has fully succeeded in effecting a total assimilative principle thereby infusing in it's entirety the whole culture, religion and tradition of the Fulanis in others. Going by record, Rt Hon. Sir Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was born in December 1912 in the present day Tafawa Balewa LGA in southern Bauchi state to the family of Yakubu Dan Zala of the minority Gere ethnic group. Furthermore, I discovered that just few original Fulanis have ruled Nigeria and they are- Shehu Shagari, Umar Musa Yar-Adua and Mohammadu Buhari, others are either of Hausa or minority folk. For more clarification, I would like fellow nairalanders to lend their views and contributions to this. Mynd44 OAM4J |

The guy should be released immediately, what is all these!!. We have many real rapists out there going around and constantly perpetrating their evil acts but still walk free on the streets. I'm not trying to exonerate the guy from what he did but what really matters was the intent. The guy was totally ignorant of the consequence of his action but still very innocent and didn't harbor any bad intention. 1 Like |
