lefulefu:
i very much agree that a man who wants to marry should go for a woman who is sensible and can manage the homefront and a woman that can manage money. The management of money is very important cos there are some women u will give 500k for weekly upkeep and instead they will use d whole 500k to buy creams and hair wig plus clothes dat they will use to slay in front of mirror to upload on instagramcheesy. Such a woman no fit make a good wifecheesy.
Would you classify such a woman as sensible??

lefulefu:
As for a woman having a very good source of income..well if the lady u about to marry is resourceful, hardworking, caring will u now refuse to marry her cos she aint earning a six figure salary?
Please at what point did I mention the boldened??

its mostly illiterate ignorant parents dat jus depend on first born. these days there are who save and invest for the future.many of them buy lands with the money they earn from their jobs.some build hostels for students to rent and the money they make from these business they save and invest. and dat one about women in marriage is wat makes men succcesful na big lie oooo.there are many young guys cos of the rush into early marriage they have become stagnant in life. the little money they would have saved and used to go back to school to upgrade themselves acedemically or set up a business they will be using it to feed wife and kids.no progress in life and all will just be about feeding wife and kids.i know one guy who got married in his finals in d university.the guy read mining engineering but till date the guy is doing porter job in one small hotel carrying bags for customers while his young wife sells crayfish in d market to survive.if u see d guy now he looks so worn out looking after his wife and his two children.the little money he makes he canr use it on himself and if u see him now he now looks like a pensioner.a young guy oo.[s]omo wen u want to get married as a man make sure ur finiances are strong cos if not ur marriage will be hell.
[/s]
I'd rather you advise that one marries a decent and sensible lady with stable and a good source of income who can manage a home, then the burden of catering for the home won't be solely be on him.

Asin ehn, my bro. The thing tire me, foolish parents putting so much pressure on First borns.

That's how one Idiotic girl starting with "Saf**" in her name was arguing yesterday that Women in marriage is what make Men successful. Me that I know once you marry your life slows down by 85%. All the risk & opportunities you could take before is no longer available, you have to think of your Wife & children first.

[s]Any man who doesn't get his finances right before marriage is forever doomed. He will die in Poverty I swear[/s]!
Shut up!!! You're not God. My husband got a good job with a multinational oil company after we got married. His life and finances has gotten way way better compared to when he was not married and you know what? this is just the beginning. If he had continued to wait till he got his finances right, he'd still have been struggling. 'He that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord'.

Good evening mamas, please I'm a soon to be FTM, started shopping for baby things, please kindly recommend affordable but good diapers, body lotions (I was told sheabutter or palm kernel oil is good at the initial stage. Please share your inputs), soaps, baby formulas, feeders and any advice I need. Also your views on manual and electric breast pumps. Thank you so much.

Personally I don't like palm kernel as body cream, prefer Shea butter.
I'm going to share the brands we use
Soap: cussons
Diaper: molfix
Formula: Nan, there are other good brands just buy what you can afford
Body cream: jimpo ori, its really nice and smells good too
Thank you ma. The jimpo ori is something I can easily get in a baby shop. The baby diapers is it wise to buy in plenty quantity. What about baby wipe? Thank you so much.

Thanks for this link. The answers are intact except for number 2 maths question. I may be wrong though. I stand politely corrected.

SP of an item is $2000. The seller made 25% on the SP. Now 25% of 2000 is 500. That means he made a profit of $500. CP should be $1500 instead.
You're correct. I thought so too

Nairaland is more than this. What is the usefulness of this BBNAIJA stuff to us?

Mr Seun please see to it that whatever is put on the front page is worth reading and something people can learn from or useful information that will keep us informed. With the rate at which BBNaija stuff is gracing front page these days, it's becoming embarrassing and making Nairaland look like these unserious blogs. My humble submission.

Words women use to scam men:: Realmen dont do this Realmen don't do that tongue Mature men don't do this Mature men don't do that. A man loves his mother for taking care of him then he is a mummy boy smiley He dare touches his wife he gets arrested and tagged a caword, if he reports to a family member to counsel her then he needs pampers.

As a Nigerian Man we need alot of wisdom and patience, the moment they cut you off from your form of psychological support like family, friends, shrinks and counsellors. Or clergymen. You'll soon become miserable helplessly depressed or turn to an alcoholic and slowly you may end up dieing faster than your wife without enjoying your kids life phases
