Thanks. Please the distance from Utako, to Nyanya and to Orozo is it very far? I'll be traveling from Delta. Will I be able to meet up with the 8pm registration deadline? Or is it advisable one leaves on Saturday?

There were many people with Accounting,statistics, mathematics, Management Accounting, economics and other numerical related degrees with 2:1 that were not called,they can't say that all the people they sent invite to were all first class degree, there would have been mixture in the grades obtained that were called,there was no exam to screen out to choose the best candidates.
Why didn't they shortlist the names of selected invite with degrees for the world to see?
Could they be scared of critics like DSS recruitment if they are Just with the recruitment?

That is why they have to be careful with their recruitment advert anytime they place for one. They made placement for numerical related courses and people that have it applied,why not give them a fair play for the first stage since they are qualified, even if they will be mischievous in their selection in the second stage to reduce candidates.
This is an act of gross irresponsibility magnanimously perpetrated out of partiality.

His point exactly (My Connect at the FIRS headquarters), if it was based on merit why didn't they do aptitude test instead they went straight to interview... Even the HR'S at FIRS aren't happy with whole corrupt recruitment exercise.

Please I know better, an HR Officer at the FIRS headquarters who was suppose to assist my bro' who read Accountancy and made a 2.1, said names were brought by 'Oga' s at the top' and merit was far from being considered. Except you're trying to say you were the one who was invited based on merit, if it's a friend, forget it. You don't expect them to tell you they have godfathers.

Nigeria we hail thee! All the people who were invited for the interview were recommended coz they have 'godfathers'. This isn't hear say, please if you were not contacted don't beat yourself too much, and if God has destined you to get in, you'd mysteriously be employed by FIRS.

I heard the interview will be in Batches even from the email it is quoted "Starting from", so if you are not called naw, you can still be hopeful of subsequent batch, have a blessed day.

You can't be so sure, that's how a majority of people speculated that DPR was gonna call people in batches after a vast number of persons were called for the CBT. In the end after the CBT, it became a forgotten issue.

My observation too. I doubt if those from the south - South and South - East have been called. I hope it will go round undecided

Wow, sounds cool. Do you choose the 3 days you'll be available or they choose when you should come around, Is it all through the day(that's within the 3 days)you go out to sensitize taxpayers, do you go in groups or alone, is there a car that commute you guys to where you'd do the sensitization, I'm sorry for my numerous questions, I'm just curious. Silly reasons. I have seen a lot of people that got married and started experiencing set backs. what has marriage got to do with favors ? is Ronaldo married ? justin Beiber,Chris Brown,etc are not married and they are enjoying God's favors than most married people I know.

With these you've said and the people you've made mention of, one can tell you're still an amateur, probably in his Late teens or early 20's.

The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has announced plans by Nigerian government to recruit 7,500 graduates as Community Tax Liaison Officers to raise tax awareness among citizens thereby increasing the number of tax payers.

Adeosun, along with the Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr BabaTunde Fowler made this known at a joint media briefing on Thursday in Abuja.

This move according to Adeosun has become necessary owning to the very low number of persons captured in Nigeria’s Tax Database.

FIRS on August 29th commences recuirtment of Tax Liaison Officers .

Eligibility Skills

Must be 22 – 40 years old.

Have a minimum of 5 ‘level credits (including English & account) in one sitting.

About to complete or completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

Application closing Date

Not specified.

Who's fooling who? I thought the 5,000 Tax Liaison Officers are supposed to be Non-graduates, according to what's stated above. So how come the Non-graduates are expected to either be about to complete the NYSC scheme or have completed it? It's well Nigeria!

Please my brother didn't receive a text to proceed to do his test, but he was able to log in, and what popped out was 'select your device' thereafter he was told his selection has been saved, nothing like a test came up after. He had to log in without a text to proceed because of the test schedule of N-Power Tax that is about closing, please what should he do next?
