Okay. The procedure is a long one, that's if you're willing to go through the stress. If it's SSCE (that is you wrote in a school) you'll go through your school. Go to the school to obtain a letter from them for the change of DOB and take it to WAEC office in that state. Along with that letter, you'll submit your baptismal certificate, birth certificate carrying the age you want it changed to(not affidavit), passport photograph, the original WAEC certificate and 10k. Buh if it's GCE, it's same process but you'll go directly instead of going through your school.
I can help you get the NPC Birth Certificate.

NOTE: Be ready to wait for one year, depending on how convinced WAEC is.

Hello everyone, A mistake was made in my age since when I wrote WAEC so I decided to continue using the wrong age cos it was on my WAEC result. I also used same wrong age on my bvn so it would tally with what I used in school and on my WAEC. But I want to change the age to the correct one. My real age is 25, but the mistake has been 28 ever since. HELP ME OUT NAIRALANDERS!
Did you write NECO? If yes I can tell you a few things.

Dear Husbands and Wives:

When you're due to deliver a baby or in labour. Pls take a birthing partner with you, did you hear me?
Take a birthing partner with you.

Study the hospital exit doors and put a name to the faces of the nurses.

Secondly, tell the nurses that you don't want your baby to be taken away from the delivery room. Once they cut the umbilical cord hold your baby jen jen..... I know the pains! I know every, but hold the baby jen jen.... Never let go.

Thirdly, if you're having CS, pls take a birthing partner with you, tell the doctor you don't want the nurses to wash the baby. Tell your doctor to hand over the baby to your birthing partner.

Washing of new baby is not compulsory in UK. The midwives in UK don't wash the baby that day. Nne don't panic.

In Lagos, my friend sister gave birth to a baby boy this morning, she saw her baby and made a mental note of her baby, while the midwife went away with the baby to wash the baby, she came back with a baby girl that looked like a two weeks old baby girl.

But God we serve was awake....the nurse mistakenly came back with wrapper that is not hers.... And they found out the baby had this local tangerine(local eye liner) in her eyes which means the baby is not her baby. All her scans has shown it's a boy they were expecting.

Her husband was first to spot the eye tangerine and gave the nurse a sound slap to produce his baby. He called his elder brother who is a lawyer in Lagos to come with people.... Within 20 minutes his brother and their friends has filled the hospital. The nurse said is the matron that asked her to replace the baby with the baby in the Chief matron office. The matron is denying telling the junior nurse anything.

The matron was given a beating of her life now. They are involving police and must go to court. The doctor on duty is claiming innocent....Her baby has been returned to her. They are home now.

Dear women: As you dey push your baby, biko don't start crying and leave your baby with nurses. Endure the pains and tell them to hand over your baby that you want to bond with the baby first.

Tell them to leave your baby with you that you don't want to wash your baby. If possible conduct DNA before leaving the hospital, just to make sure you're taking your real baby home.

Things are happening oooooo....

May God have mercy on all of us.

Politics › Re: Saraki to Tinubu: Despite Your Smear Campaign and Hatred for Me, You Should, At by Foxie: 6:27pm On Apr 22, 2019
TANTUMERGO007:
Saraki to Tinubu: Despite Your Smear Campaign and Hatred for Me, You Should, At Least, Dwell on Facts
Yesterday, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, released another of his now well expected quarterly vicious attack on the person of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the President of the Senate. In the statement, one could see the master of media spins getting ensnared in his own game as he struggled to extricate himself from the narratives about the contest for leadership positions in the Ninth National Assembly.
2. Since we have taken it for granted that Tinubu’s attack on Saraki every three months (Quarterly) will come as expected, we would just have ignored his statement but for the fact that it was filled with untruth, fallacies and misrepresentations. The statement was another effort to sell a concocted narrative about the Eighth National Assembly and its leadership.
3. First, he alleged that national budgets were delayed, distorted, padded, new projects introduced, funds for projects reduced, “to halt progress of government”. It is unfortunate that a man like Tinubu who had been in the Senate (though for 22 months and under a military regime) should have a better understanding of how the legislature works. The passage of budgets is definitely not the exclusive responsibility of the leadership of the Senate. Most of the work is done in the various committees. These committees are headed by Senators representing different parties. It is the level of co-operation between the committees and the MDAs in the timely defence of the budget proposals and the ability of the two chambers of the National Assembly to reconcile their figures that usually determine how soon the budget is passed. To put the blame of budget delay on the Senate President or Speaker can only be mischief, or at best, playing to the gallery.
.
4. It is also a known fact that any so-called delay in the passage of budgets under the Eighth National Assembly is traceable to the refusal of heads of MDAs to defend the budget proposals for their agencies on time. Last year, the President himself had to direct the Secretary to Federal Government to compel heads of MDAs to appear before the National Assembly committees following the report made to him by Dr. Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara. So, if a man like Tinubu is spreading this falsehood about budget passage and delay being deliberately orchestrated by the National Assembly leadership, one wonders whether he tries to even understand what happens in the federal legislature at all or is that the only thing that is of interest to him is. “jockeying and manoeuvring for influence”, as he puts it.
5. To further make the points here clear, we invite. Tinubu to look at the records of the time of submission of budgets and their passage since 2010 and he will see that with the exception of the 2013 budget which was passed on December 20, 2012, all the budgets have been passed between March and May of the same fiscal year. This should give him a better understanding of the fact that the date the Appropriations Bill is submitted to parliament and the readiness of the MDAs to defend the proposals submitted as well as timely agreement on the figures by both chambers of the National Assembly are the main determining factors in when the budget is eventually passed. So, Tinubu should see that the facts cannot support his spins and fake narrative.

Yet Tinubu humiliated Saraki in Saraki's village. Saraki lost the governorship seat, three senatorial seats, six house of reps seat and all the state assembly seats in Kwara State to Tinubu backed Otoge movement. No so called political heavy weight has been disgraced and humiliated like that since the days of colonial masters.
I dunno why you folks address Bola Tinubu as a senator. He is not a senator and he has never been. What's with Nigerians and titles? huh

I feel you o but truth be told, international companies have standards they usually claim is international. Mind you, this is not a factory settings where you establish solely to be able to access cheap labour.

This is the Oil and Gas, exploration and production companies, high standards and expertise are required and people should be adequately compensated. I think the Nigerian Content Laws should further be explored. The government can still do more. I dont blame these foreign countries because don't be surprised that it's your brothers and sisters perpetrating these evil acts. They are the Middle men that needs to be removed. We have them in the IT/Telecom sector too.
You're right bro', we(our Nigerian brothers who serve as middle men, as well as our leaders who makes the law) are our problems and not these IOCs. But not withstanding, I'd prefer working as a contract staff with Total E&P Nigeria and gather as much experience as I can till my breakthrough comes and as well earn well above a 150k which seems to be considered as a very high salary by most of our Nigerian companies especially in other sectors.
Career › Re: Oil Companies In Nigeria And Their Staff Entry Salary by Foxie: 1:59pm On Apr 22, 2019

Isn't that pathetic? But the sad truth is that some contract workers in these IOCs still make way more than an average employee in other sectors.

Bros is it not better being a contract staff where your monthly take home is roughly about 350k to 400k than being a full time staff with some miserable Nigerian company? The only downside I see in being a contract staff is the job security and some few benefits which one won't enjoy.

There are lots of openings. But they prefer outsourcing 99% of the positions. If only government/ DPR wii make compulsory that anybody flying to offshore MUST be a staff. Then You will see that they will employ good hands.
This is so true about outsourcing.
