Miyachi: Truth is fiat currency can also be used for illicit purposes.
Also note that Bitcoin is not truly anonymous as blockchain transactions can be traced, they include IP and other metadata. With a little time and effort you can unmask both sender and receiver. I think the main issue is censorship and control. The United States needs the Dollar to be de facto world currency for trade so that they can threaten and control other countries by means of sanctions, trade embargoes, etc.
They don't control bitcoin and it is a threat to their control and dominance in the international financial market. of all languages you only chose to speak facts. |

kufre2010: Religion is like slow poison, and just as poison is killing your body, in the same way religion is killing your soul.
There is only one difference: religion is masquerading as medicine, and while you think that it’s there for your benefit, it is secretly killing you. And before you become aware of it, religion has turned you into a lifeless being.
The negative effects of religion on society are tremendous (although often unrecognized), and in this article you’re going to read the main ways religion is destroying people’s lives.
So how exactly does religion negatively impact society? Let’s find out…
Religion is filling people with fear Religion is one of the main reasons why people are afraid of living.
When I say ‘living’ I don’t mean just surviving. To survive is one thing–even stones do that–but to live is a completely different thing.
To live means to be sensitive, to discover your potential and achieve to higher states of being.
The problem, however, is that starting point of religion is fear.
Religion is based on the idea of sin: all people are born sinners, impure souls, and if they don’t purify themselves, they will soon be condemned to hell by God, where they will have to experience eternal suffering.
In order to avoid being thrown into hell, religion demands that people prove to God that they are worthy of heaven.
How? By following the dogma of religion.
Naturally, when they are put in such a situation, they find themselves in a continuous state of fear. They are always afraid of whether their actions are right according to religion or not.
When you believe that you are being constantly watched by an all-seeing eye of God, you have to act in certain ways to please God. The fear of hell is always in your mind, filling you with worry and anxiety, and this does not allow you to live spontaneously.
As a result, religiously indoctrinated people become neurotic and in some cases even psychotic.
Religion is turning people against themselves The demands that religion places on people are unrealistic.
Religion, on the one hand, teaches that people are born sinners. Sin is what we are made of, and whatever we humans are doing is bound to be corrupted in one way or another.
On the other hand, however, religion is teaching people to behave in the best ways possible — in a few words, to be perfect, just like angels.
But obviously people are not angels, so how can they act in such an unnatural way?
This has many serious consequences.
When you fail to do what God has ordered, you start hating yourself. You begin to accept the idea that you are indeed a bad person, corrupted, unworthy. And once you do so, your mind becomes filled with hatred, bitterness and resentment — a true hell on earth.
Religion is turning people against each other Others are just a projection of yourself, a mirror, on whom you can see your own reflection. That’s why once you start hating yourself, you are bound to start hating others too.
When you accept the idea that you are a sinner, you start seeing those around you as sinners. As a result, you fear that those you meet want to harm you — they are also evil, ill-willed, enemies of yours.
In addition, you will not tolerate religious ideologies that are different from the one you hold.
This is the reason why religious groups fighting against each other. Similarly, religious groups are fighting nonreligious ones.
To identify with a religious ideology and call it the only truth and way, can only lead to tremendously bad or negative effects — prejudice, bigotry, and all kinds of violence (just think of how many wars have been carried out throughout history in the name of God and religion).
Religion is keeping people in ignorance To live means to learn, and life is an ongoing lesson.
When, however, you have grown up conditioned to believe what is right and wrong according to a religious dogma, and you’ve been taught that to doubt the religion you were born into means to go to hell, naturally you become afraid of seeking knowledge. You stop searching to find truth, and hence to educate yourself and grow as a human being.
Knowledge and wisdom are incompatible with dogmatic religious ideologies. Indeed, religion is confining people’s minds in the darkness of ignorance, and those who are in search of the light of truth are being condemned by religion.
This way, religion keeps people blinded by all sorts of beliefs that are not based on any factual or experiential evidence, which does wonders to stunt their intelligence.
***
As you can see, the negative effects of religion on society are enormous.
To blindly follow a religious or any other ideology simply means to restrict your perception, suppress your thoughts and emotions, and live in hypocrisy — in other words, to live in pain and misery.
Many people choose to follow a religious dogma, even though they’re suffering from this choice, simply because religion frees them from personal responsibility.
To live spontaneously one has to take responsibility for oneself, and this can be quite burdensome.
Life is made up of choices, and to make the right choices isn’t always that easy. So people prefer not to chose for themselves but to have others choose for them. They prefer to walk on paths made by others, instead of creating and walking on their own paths.
But unless we stop having an authority tell us what to do or what not to, we will never be free to live the way we deep down want to live. And unless we are free, we will never be happy and find peace with ourselves and the world. this is the most stupid write up I've ever read... keep up writing gibberish for the gullible.... life is a choice... you either chose to be good or be bad, but be ready to face the consequences of the choice you make. |

charlesELIKIBA: HELLP NAIRALANDERS
I will be brief with my writeup as much as possible so I can explain my connection with this lady.
My single mom gave me away at a tender age of 5 to her elder brother (financial difficulties i assume), this ''aunty'' happens to be the wife of this my mother's elder brother.
Aready they had 4 children, all boys.
The home was a tough upbringing with strict rules about socialising, we weren't allowed to bring friends home or go to friends places. It was pretty strict and my uncles wife i would say was the mastermind of it all, she was strict and mean maybe because it was a house of 5 boys.
Growing up in my uncles home, I wouldn't say I was treated diffrently because I always got matching outfits with my uncle's children during christmas, gifts during christmas, same portions of food BUT IN ALL I was always scared of doing somethings my cousins would do. I didn't feel free growing up, i felt diffrent from them. In some cases they attended the best schools than I (but I never attended a govt. school or a bad private school).
It's like if their school fees was 1m naira per term, mine would be 150,000 per term.
I lived with them until I was about 16 or 17 and one morning I woke up and they said i was going back to my mother at 15 or 16 like any kid, you would start to develop conscience (sense), maybe breaking some rules and being stubborn just like their own kids. This I assume was why they wanted to send me back to my mother OTHERWISE I CAN THINK OF NOTHING ELSE I DID WRONG OR DIFFRENT.
In all of these years living with them, I saw my mother as a strange person. I had no motherly connection with her. My anty to me, was my real mother. Whenever we went visiting my mother in very rare occasions, it was always awkward.
Well long story short, I found myself back in my mother's arms, to a new environment i knew nothing about and starting to learn to live with a woman called my mother. I was naive, had no choice but to accept realities on ground. Do you know that feeling of living in a pouch house and wake up next morning in a 1 room surrounded by thick bushes. Yes that was the change.
I was enrolled into a school, my uncle was repeatedly forced to send/ pay my schoolfees until i was in ss3 and i called him to inform him about waec enrolment. He told me on the phone ''all the exams i have been writing, how many have i passed'' and that was it. He never sent a dime anymore meanwhile at this point his children, my cousins were already miles ahead of me suddenly in education. When i left the home, the eldest son went to canada to school, the second who is my agemate was already in a private uni in Nigeria and the 3rd who i am senior to with a year is preparing to go to ukraine for school and years later the last born who i spoonfed and chewed meat for attended uni in Ghana.
Well long story short, since my uncle had failed me. My mother said it was time i go to my father. My father was old retired pensioner. My mother took me to him, as expected awkward encounter. I have never known this man, no memory of him. Well he said he would find my enrolment money and he did, he later passed on a year or two later.
I enrolled waec and pased in one sitting, thanks to miracle centres.
PS: i must say i was never an intelligent student. i wasn't even average but i wasn't the poorest and neither of my uncles children were better. We were all poor educationally.
Long story short another uncle sprang up and paid for my university diploma which i later acquiried.
YEARS LATER my uncle and aunty decided to move back to our home town, please note the home my mother stayed in was this my uncles home. It was the boy quarters, the main house was not even in sight as at the time i was returned to my mother. We did series of bush clearing and snakes killing lol. well my uncle returned home town after retirement and setup the main structure ( a 5 bed room duplex) and thats were they lived while i and my mother lived in the BQ.
I WAS very angry with myself that i happened to still live with them AGAIN, i needed to get out of their sight, my condition was bad. i was a mere teacher to some rickety school. In all of this my uncle's wife always ensured she knew what i was upto and she derived satisfaction when she knew i wasn't doing better than her kids who were all abroad. i turned to their errand boy again after years of neglect. i was very angry with myself and needed to save to get out of the house.
Well i did manage to save up and leave the house and i promised myself never to return to that house. i felt neglected, i felt they sent me away because the goodthings were coming and they couldn't bear to see me share in them because to me they were my parents.
YEARS LATER, my aunty was sick with cancer please note before i left the home, my uncle and aunty always sent me to travel journeys to get them medicines from a monastry. i attended such trips severally and ran other seperate errands but i never dared to drive their car talkless ask for the key. i always washed their car in the mornings, i would never also dare to see myself in the living room of the duplex with the remote in hand. when they moved back to the hometown, that fear in my childhood started again but this time i was mature enough to know i would never m amount to anything in life if i continued this again hence the reason i needed to move out.
So my aunty sickness grew worse, the husband flew her to india and back but the sickness grew worse. in all of this cancer times i never went back to the house to see her. I only heard of her conditions from my siblings (my half siblings, my mother was married to 3 men in diffrent years and she had only me for my father, another for another man and 3 for another man, i was the lastborn of all).
Then my aunty died. The day she died, i saw her in my dreams and she was crying saying ''she forgave me''. A day or two later i went to my sisters store and she told me of my aunty death, i went to my rented apartment and cried profusely. i later summouned courage and maybe sympathy and went to my uncles house and i cried before my uncle and told him to forgive me too for all abandoning them all this while.
NOW ABOUT MY AUNTY SAYING SHE FORGAVE ME IN THE DREAM: i did not do her any wrong neither did i wish death on her. All her life her greatest fear was maybe i would become greater than her children. She loved these comparisms, i was never wicked to her, i never cursed her, i was never rude to her unless i some instances when she sends me errands and i tell her i have other things to do.... Otherwise i never was negative to her instead she is the one nobody likes, by nobody i mean my uncles family. Nobody talks good of her, they say she controls my uncle and also squandered his money but in all of this i never spoke of my experiences living with them and somethings they did wrong that made me feel diffrent, i did not even tell you guys neither have i told my mother ever. i don't see them as anything that would stop my growth in life. i hate to talk about the bad in people.
WELL BACK TO REASON THE TOPIC WAS CREATED, why do i keep repeatedly seeing her in my dreams even after her death and its always on a negative role. its either in the dream she still plays mother, or she is gossip about me in the dream or she is against me in the dream, just think of anything negative in a dream and she will be the mastermind. This is really beginning to worry me. Why is she still attached to me in the dreams?
After she died, her husband, my uncle started his own sickness but has been sick for years now, he is bed ridden. The family has repeatedly asked him if there is anything he and his late wife did in the past to amount such sickness were he is living in pain but refused to die and he would not answer. One time they said, he said ''it was out of ignorance'' and thats all he ever said about anything.
It will also be good to note that of all my 4 cousin brothers and i today, i am the most successful by far.
i just finished my house (a 3bedroom, 2 bedroom, 1 bedrrom bungalow) january this year i bought my 3rd car. i travel round the world effortlessly. YES I DID TURN OUT FAR BETTER THAN MY COUSINS WHO YOU KNOW HAD THE BEST EDUCATION.
I don't want to talk of their conditions, lets concentrate on me.
So this is my much writeup... I had to skip many things so you can bear to read but please be free to ask me questions.
Why do I repeatedly see my aunty in my dreams.... just before this writeup, i had just woken up from another dream she was present in, she was whispering to the ears of a very good friend of mine and then the friends turned to me and was like '' ah cahrles na so you be''?...and i was angry and was like '' how can you believe something someone you just met told you against i your best friends word'' and minutes later dream ended and i woke up.
At this point i am thinking of going spiritual to know why this is happening but this will be a first in my life. There are two popular places i have never being in my life until lately last year... One is a shrine and the other is a police station. Last year was my first time to be in a police station. I was driving my unregistered car. That was my offence. you wey no go school fit compose this Kain message, ah my guy small small Sha oh... Afamed: REPORT OF MY INVESTIGATION INTO AN ALLEGATION OF CORRUPTION AND PUBLIC DECEIT IN THE CONDITIONAL CASH TRANSFER PROGRAM.
Earlier today, 13th April 2020, a respected member of this forum made a sensational allegation that the picture of his late Aunt from Anambra who died in December 2018 was being shared by Officials of the Conditional Cash Transfer as one of those who benefited from the disbursement of N20,000 CCT in Anambra state last week.
Considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the allegation, I launched an investigation into the matter. I promised that I will to get to the root of the matter and I have done so and I now report back to us.
First I requested the forumite to send me the picture he was referring to which he did.
Next, I went to the @HUPcct Twitter handle and confirmed that indeed that picture was there but contrary to the claim by the forumite that it was used for Anambra state, the picture was put as one of the beneficiaries from Aboh Mbaise in Imo state.
It is worthy of mention here that the same picture of the same woman has been used by certain blog sites alleging that the beneficiary (the same woman) said that after their pictures were taken with the N20,000, it was taken from them and they were given N2,000 instead.
Armed with those information and screenshots, I escalated the matter and forwarded all the materials gathered to the HUPcct through Mr Henry Ayade an official of the program. In fact he handles their official Twitter handle and uploaded the said picture(s) himself.
I had earlier explained to the forumite that the Twitter handle only uploads information sent by the state Coordinators of the program.
Mr Ayade promptly got back to me after confronting the Imo State Coordinator of the Program, Mr Joseph Odoemena with the sensational and serious allegation(s). He said the Coordinator affirmed without prevarication that the picture was taken on Saturday at Aboh Mbaise, Imo state and that he personally forwarded it to the headquarters.
He further said he would send me the coordinator's number which he did. I called the Coordinator and presented the allegations. He told me unequivocally that there was no mistake. That the picture in question was taken on Saturday at Aboh Mbaise, that the woman in the picture was from Aboh Mbaise and couldn't have been dead as she was one of those who received money on Saturday.
I also asked him about the allegations by some blogs (although not credible sites) that the same woman said the N20,000 was taken away from them after snapping pictures with it and they were given N2,000 instead. He said that was a wicked lie.
The Imo state Coordinator then offered to go to Aboh Mbaise to trace the woman in the picture and if and when he finds her, he will take pictures and even interview her on video. I agreed.
He went to Aboh Mbaise and indeed saw the same woman in the picture and actually did a video which he has sent to me. There is also an interview with the woman's son.
I want us to carefully watch the videos as attached and compare with the picture of the woman.
The videos are in Igbo. Therefore for the benefit of those who do not understand Igbo, I have transcribed the two videos below.
#VideoOne WITH THE WOMAN.
Q. Where are you from?
Woman: I'm from Umuodaa in Ahiaato Aboh Mbaise.
Q: On this day, you are talking like someone who is alive. Is that correct?
Woman: Yes!! Yes!!!
Q: .. because they said you were dead .... but you are not dead. God will keep you alive in Jesus' name.
Woman: Amen!!
Q: When did you people receive that money?
Woman: It was on Saturday afternoon.
Q: How much were you given?
Woman: Twenty Thousand.
Q: Did anyone collect money from you after you were given the money?
Answer: No!!! No body!! They gave me, I looked for a "cyclist" because I couldn't go to Afor Enyiogwugwu (market). I'm not strong. I returned to Umuwoko, Umuodaa in Ahiaato.
Q: God bless you.
Woman: Amen oo.
Q: Tell the entire world that you are alive.
Woman: The entire world, I'm alive oo. God (crying).
Q: Thank you.
#Video2 THE WOMAN'S SON:
"This is Mrs Cordelia Linus Ewurum from Umulogho, Umuodaa, Nguru, Aboh Mbaise LGA.
She's alive and healthy.
Last Saturday, she went to Choko, Umunze and collected her token, N20,000 as was given to others.
There was no problem and nobody objected that she is answering her own name or any other thing.
But all I know is she's alive and she collected the money on behalf of herself.
Thank you."
#Conclusion From the foregoing and the videos and pictures, it is very clear, without any iota of doubt that the woman in the video is the same woman in the picture the forumite said was the picture of his late Aunt who died in December 2018.
She is from Aboh Mbaise in Imo state. She is alive and collected her N20,000 CCT money herself and the picture posted by the HUPcct and shared by many of us is correct and not a photoshop as alleged.
Also the allegation by some faceless blogs that she said they were given N2,000 after taking pictures with N20,000 is untrue and #FakeNews.
I will urge us all to always make effort to verify every information we receive and to be very sure of our facts before making any allegations.
I want to sincerely thank all of us and especially Mr Henry Ayade of HUPcct Abuja and Mr Joseph Odoemena, the Imo state Coordinator of HUPcct.
They are shining examples of what a public servant should be - diligent, upright, accountable, dedicated and swift in action.
Thank you all.

Buliwyf: Lol. Speaking in tongues is farcical and only worthy of mockery. Especially the ones that Christians practice these days. It's nothing more than gibberish and some patois that you guys use to psych up yourselves and feel you have a communication with some higher power. News flash, you don't!!!
It is telling that none of the tongues spoken these days can be recognised as any form of language by people. The only anecdotal evidence for speaking in tongues makes it known that they actually spoke the languages of the foreign people around them and could be understood. But you guys these days utter rubbish which doesn't even help anyone, not even yourselves.
Every language has the same pattern. You can do a statistical sampling of the words to get their usage frequency and all human languages have the same pattern. Some words are used more frequently than others. Especially articles. Heck, even dolphins' communication patterns almost matches that of humans and that's why it's been theorised that they have language. But you charlatans speaking in tongues, same thing can't be said for you. Your word usage is all over the place and usually you are just repeating the same nonsense over and over. No one can understand you. Not even yourselves.
Lastly, what's the use of your speaking in tongues? You have been speaking in tongues yet your life is not better than the average person that doesn't speak in tongues. You have no special knowledge, no special insights nor special abilities. You are as ordinary as the rest of us and the only thing that seems exceptional about you is your unmatched ability to delude yourself. You remind of those Christ Embassy girls in school that will meet you on the road and ask you to start speaking in tongues immediately. Then in the evening they are off to some guy's house to have the sex of their lives. you too funny Sha. |

This is wrong on every sides, because i have come to understand that pastors are not perfect like we make them to be. Odumeje has not done half of what your favourite pastors have done, i hope you are cognozant of this fact, because i grew up in the church. While your pastor is buying private Jets, building world standard edifices and schools that your children cant afford to attend, Odumeje was giving Money to fire victims, food to the poor and building roads. While your pastor was allegedly looking for another female victim to exploit sexually, Odumeje was showing his wife love and being a father to his beautiful children. Were we not here when Pastor Adeboye asked people to donate 1billion each? Were we not here when your GO in Abuja asked his members to Jump into the cleansing Pool for 50k? Are you not aware that your pastors sell mantle and olive oil? While your Pastors move around with Armed men, Odumeje is in the street mixing with street boys and girls, maybe thats why you call him a fake prophet. People that couldnt critisize the COZA pastor are insulting Odumeje and thats laughable. Some of your pastors have been banned from entering some countries because of fraud, are you aware ? Odumeje dances "in a worldly fashion" but your suit wearing and English speaking pastor wines and dines with corrupt politicians. I can go on and on but let me not open fowl nyash. Things that will make u a man of God 1: Your relationship with God 2. Your way of life 3: And ur spiritual background. Pls deduct that mindset that reading ur bible, speaking good English we make u a man of God let God be the judge.... stop praising odumeje, if he is good let God decide. |
