backbencher: Actually, all Nigerians love free things.
1.Most Nigerians don't want to have subsidy on petrol removed.
2.Most Nigerians don't want to have power companies set the price of the power they sell
3.Most Nigerians also want to have the government apparently 'regulate' the prices of food and gas 'for the masses'
4.Most Nigerians don't pay taxes...only 30-40% of Nigerians pay taxes for the rest of the populaiton.
5.Most Nigerians also think that when their son or daughter is in government, they should get freebies.
6.Most Nigerians also refuse and resist the idea of tolls on roads.
7. When the FCT was charging a parking ticket/meter...guess who got it stopped? Nigerians.
8.Even short term loans from loan apps...Nigerians won't pay as due, and would even share tips on how to avoid paying.
Stop blaming the Fulanis...and no it does not mean that I said you should not blame Buhari...because he has not done well at all. But Nigeria is not prospering because Nigerians think that there is a national cake we must eat from. you've left the real topic about Nigeria's break up and you are yarning okoto meow meow... |

franchasng: Southsouth will have their own independent country, unless they willingly agree to form a united nation with Southeast, with each region being solely in charge of their resources.
I am Igbo, but I tell you, majority of Igbos desire Nigeria to split and the reason is not about crude oil or economy, but mostly because of Northern peoples greed and way of life which does not allow equity and security of lives and properties, so Igbos don't want to wait until Northerners crash the nation with their barbaric Islamic religious practices which is not the same with what UAE, Qatar and other forward thinking Muslim countries are practicing.
Yes the start won't be smooth economically but the love and passion Igbos have for Biafra will make all Igbo sons and daughters to give in their best to make the new nation succeed, even if it means contributing money like Igbos have been doing under IPOB which no other tribe can do.
South Koreans contributed money to Kickstart their country and look at where they are today.
Crude oil is a curse to black nations.
Biafra will depend mostly on human capital development, craft, trade, etc, not just on mineral resources. All these have been discussed and tabled ahead and solutions already put in place.
Also mind you, southeast have crud oil. The crude oil reserve might not be as huge as the ones currently explored in Niger Delta regions because it is being shared among huge population, but when it is shared among southeast regions alone, it will become enough with adequate management and leadership.
Also Southeast have the highest natural gas reserve in Nigeria and you know what that means? that is ehn enjoyment go kill ibos be that |

TMKsouth: The essence is that vaccines prevent covid from killing u. U can still get it but not have severe symptoms. The worry with Omicron is that it has evolved to an extent that it will evade current vaccines, hence the panic. first of all vaccines are meant to prevent a disease from entering the body since the weaker version has already been introduced to ur body isn't... so what makes you think the virus will not mutate again to a more deadly strain... will you continue taking more vaccines as it mutates and I don't want to start on after effects of the vaccines. |

TMKsouth: Many who held your views are now 6-feet under. what is the essence of receiving a dose of vaccine when it neither prevent nor protect you from the virus. My g think again. |

Modrov: Lol...food is expensive...but fuel in Nigeria is cheap.
Infact, Nigeria is the third cheapest for fuel in Africa and the cheapest in West Africa...which is why people smuggle fuel to other African countries.

UDUJ: No bro, Cotonou is in Benin Republic. Togo is the neighbouring country to Benin Republic.
Well from the conflicting news we got we read he was arrested in Cotonou for using a fake Benin Republic passport while trying to travel to Germany from Cotonou.
While another news says he was arrested in Cotonou by the orders of the Nigerian government for treason.
Right now we don't know which of the news to believe. I weak oh... This govt is just oppressing people anyhow... somebody cannot protest against bad governance in a democratic system again. |
