I got a conditional offer from Teesside University for January with no scholarship involve thinking after I uploaded the required documents, my unconditional offer will come with a scholarship. But reverse is the case, the unconditional offer came in and to my surprise no scholarship whatsoever included.

Please what may be the cause? I need help!

There are two types of Masters program

1. Coursework
2. Research

If you submit an application for coursework, looking for a supervisor is not a requirement.

Most of coursework masters program are not usually available.

I think this is one advantage of graduating with 2.2, atleast one can apply to colleges for Post graduate cert, unlike 2.1 where your first search is to look for supervisor before long wait for admission.

Thank you for your response. Although I have applied for a food science course but am still looking for course related to my work which is "Administration Investigation" which is majorly Postgraduate cos am considering Social Works, Arbitrators /Paralegal

It look as if you are talking about me because, this is exactly my situation. I planned to do another Masters in Food Science but will not disclose to the V. O that I already have a masters degree. Am also looking at going for courses related to "Investigation" cos am an investigation Officer in a Govt establishment.

Kindly assist with your opinion on this issue. I am actually asking for my sister. She has a BSc (2010) & MSc (2015) in Food Tech but works with a govt body that conducts elections in Nigeria. She plans to go for an MSc in a specialized aspect of food science in Canada. She has had no work experience in her field of study except for 6months IT but she is very interested in this FOOD area. Please what can be the justification in her SOP/LOE to VO for her plan to study in Canada.

FYI, NSE is not Mandatory therefore if you are sure yiu can't write it, all you need to do is write a letter explaining reasons why. As for the bank statement, you can ignore that as well. Therefore ur application will be treated under the normal route. Otherwise, you need to make at least 6.0 in all bands in the IELTS. Again meeting the NSE requirements does not guarantee an approval and not meeting it also doesnt guarantee an approval. Therefore everything still boils down to how good your sop is
