Please and please I need your help Thanks. English Proficiency is not a requirement in applying for Study permit from Nigeria. It will end in praise |

Teeunz: Hello good day everyone.
Please gurus in the house, I need your contributions please,
1. Is it compulsory to pay school fees before applying even if sufficient money is in the account?
2.If I don't pay do I need to mention when I will be making the payments in my sop?
Please I need contributions,I will really appreciate it Thank you See my responses below: 1. Tuition payment is not compulsory is not stated on your acceptance letter to do so. 2. The funds should appear in your sponsor's account/your personal account, you have to explain to the officer that the funds is available and can be utilised at any point for your tuition, living expenses and other miscellaneous expenses during the course of your studies in Canada. The above advice is applicable if you're using your parents or self-sponsorship. On the account that you're using a third party sponsorship (Uncle, aunt, or company), your guarantor will be required to pay certain amount to show commitment for your education in Canada and prove to the immigration officer that you will have full access to funds. Bolanle18090040: Good evening house Do anybody knows how I can go about this Nova Scotia community college I finished my secondary school in 2015 and I only have my Neco result and I wanted to apply to Nscc for a diploma in social services for Fall 2022 But when applying I didn’t see how I can upload my result Please anybody that know about it please help a sister Please gurus and many more If you’re applying to nscc too or you’re there already please help me out Forget about NSCC, for getting study permit with this school is oftentimes difficult. Try some of the good colleges in Ontario even though they might appear expensive, but they have better prospects of getting approval. The visa officer knows that you're applying to NSCC because the school is relatively very cheap and easier to secure permanent residency after studies. This information is based on my wealth of experience dealing with diverse immigration applications. In spite of everything, the final decision is yours to make . Best of luck! Pheonix12: Please can your student visa be approved if you make half payment of your tuition and accommodation fee? Tuition payment is not a prerequisite for visa approval. Unless mandatory by the institution, you don't need to make any travel plans such as payment of upfront tuition fees, payment of accommodation fees in Canada and registration of courses without a visa. lilangel20: Here is a clearer version of my GCMS notes. I was refused on just personal asset and financial status. I am a funded applicant with funding of 16,500cad of which I am to pay 5,030 as school fees and would be left with 11,000cad.
I do not also think my sop was poorly written. The visa officer is not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the completion of your studies. The incentives of you remaining in Canada far outweighs your motivation of coming back to Nigeria. More importantly, the officer noted that you've weak travel history which doesn't count as a postive factor in his assessment. You've a very good profile that will make you a deserving candidate for a Canadian study permit. Work on your economic ties back home e.g proof of ownership of properties in your name or getting deed of gift documents showing your parents have transferred a particular land/building to you. Also capitalise on your future goals and career prospects in Nigeria and use your SOP to sell yourself wisely on how your proposed program would be of great benefit to your career and the change you will translate to your home country after studies. mod1411: Please , is it acceptable by IRCC for a married man with kids to get "gift of deed" for POF... I am working with average monthly salary in flow. Regular inflow for like 2 years now, but not accumulated. I can raise the tuition but need my eldest brother to give me some money as "gift of deed" to augment for the cost of living.... Please good people of this great house should help... I wouldn't advice a married man with kids to submit a "deed of gift" in his application. This would raise concerns that you're not sufficiently well-established in your home country and the officer will question your intention of wanting to study in Canada when you've to seek for external bodies/relatives to help you fund your account. It further increases doubts that your family will not be well catered for in your absence. It will end in praise |

You can book for an upfront medicals and submit a copy of the E-medical slip with your application package to IRCC. Please I was refused on the 8th of February 2022. Please how can I tackle these, this is my third term that I wàs denied. I'm planning to apply again and I'm using my cousin as my sponsor now.... Please guru in the house.. I regret to hear about the refusal of your study permit. Did your cousin show any proof of commitment by paying part of your tuition deposit to the school as well as transferring funds to your bank account?. From my understanding of the refusal grounds mentioned by the visa officer, they are not convinced that you will have full access to funds in your cousin's account. Work on showing funds at your disposal and establishing strong proof of relationship with your sponsor. It will end in praise |

Can one let me know what the process is, can I apply and submit my application from the uk or need to come back to naija? Thanks You will be required to apply from your home country where you've adequate ties. Unless you've an active post graduate work permit in the UK, only on this account are you eligible to apply from there. Although, I have weighed both chances applying from UK and Nigeria, and from my findings, it is much more easier getting a Canadian visa from Nigeria than UK. It will end in praise |

She got her Study permit late last year but my son’s application is yet to get a decision. I filled a webform 2weeks ago concerning his application. Now, we the rest of the family want to apply for our visitors visa. I don’t when is the appropriate time. Is it while she is still in Nigeria or when she gets to Canada? The best will be when she is in Canada, you can through her influence in Canada apply to visit her. @frankrobbin1 pls attend to this From the wisdom of my vast experiences, i will advice you not to apply for a visa when your spouse hasn't landed Canada. The SIN and study permit which are issued at the point of entry are important documents to be included in a Spousal Open Work Permit or Visitor's visa of the accompanying spouse. Should you apply without these documents, your application will not be processed in a timely manner. On the other scenario you mentioned, I will recommend that your spouse goes first before you can put in for your application to join her in Canada. This will considerably help her application build strong ties back home. It will end in praise |

You must provide a written note (LOE) with respect to the change of name, you can easily make excuse with the point that you're the first born son and according to the custom and tradition of your local community, it is mandatory that the first born son bears the father's name as his surname, for you're the heir apparent to your dad. Greenwisher: Hi guys So GCMS just got in: Reason: Purpose of visit
Course studies: Environmental Management
The study plan does not appear reasonable given the applicant's employment and education history. I note that: -the client's previous studies were in an unrelated field -the client has previous studies at a higher academic level than the proposed studies in Canada -the client's proposed studies are not reasonable given their career path
@Teemenzo @makano @Time2soar1 @Davidbanky @frankrobbn1 I'm interested in handling difficult and complex cases like this with several rejections. This is my expertise! In view of the above concerns highlighted by the responsible immigration officer, there are strong doubts as to why a graduate of Environmental Mgmt, working as Manager/Supervisor is applying to pursue a PGC in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness program at Conestoga College. The visa officer is not convinced that you've bona-fide intention to study this course in light of the fact that your employment history and previous degree doesn't demonstrate a reasonable progression. It further raises concerns that you're using study visa as a route to facilitate entry into Canada rather than career advancement. In a bid to salvage these enumerated concerns of the officer, my professional advice for you is to seek for a master's that is directly relevant to your current employment - Management. Apply this advice of mine in your fourth application with a well-worded LOE put up with encyclopaedia evidence, your application will be a success. All the best It will end in praise |

Best256: Can someone have 2 home countries when writing a SOP? Cos the person is working in a country which is the country of birth but spent much part of his education in another country where his major assets are in. You can't have two home countries at same time unless you've citizenship in both countries. Your focus when writing your sop should be targeted on how you can achieve your goals and translate them back to the country where you're presently working which is the country of birth. You can mention about your ties to another country, however your center of interest should be based on your country of citizenship. It will end in praise |

Also at what point does the LOI drop? Counterfoil states the duration of the visa issued to you on your international passport by the Canadian consulate. You will notice this update on your MyCIC account once a visa has been issued and dispatched to your mailing address. The LOI - letter of Introduction, will be updated on your profile after you've received the stamped visa passport at your address. With regards to the validity of the visa given to you, it sometimes happens, you will have to apply for an extension within Canada. It will end in praise |
