Needed some help house; my lil brother is aspiring to apply for a two yrs diploma in CA; okanagan or fleming college precisely.... He's using Neco frm 2014 and he's 25yrs old R N; fund not the constrain...
I'd be glad if anyone could share more light on his eligibility; thanks...

He should use his Registered Nursing certificate instead of the NECO certificate which he obtained since 2014. Why I suggested him using the RN certificate is because it will be easier for his story to scale through as he won't have much study gaps to explain to the officer. You can also check- Niagara College, they offer something related.

Pease, if someone requested for my bank statement from the bank for visa application from April to September for example, will the VO be able to see previous months transactions when they login into the account to check or they will only see the transactions between April to September?

Please, someone should answer my question biko. E jor, I dey beg ni. Anyone wey know the answer should please reply. Thank you

Please be properly guided that the visa officer doesn't have access to view the transactions outside the stipulated timeframe (April to September) you gave to them.. The essence of the mybank statement certificate is for the officer to verify your bank statement at ease without contacting your financial institution.

I hope this answers your enquiry.

Please is there any affordable 1yr PGD programs for a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Tho I graduated with a 2.1 but I’m interested in going for a pdg in order to have an hands on experience.

I have come to realise from my good working knowledge in handling Canadian immigration matters that applying for visa with cheap institutions often leads to visa refusals. On a scale of ten candidates who applied with cheap schools in regions like Novia Scotia and Prince Edward Island, it might be only two from the 10 that will be approved. I have taken time to monitor this ill treatment by the visa officers, hence I came about this statistics. In most cases, applicants going for top schools with expensive tuition doesn't struggle so hard to get visas... These are in the likes of University Canada West, Conestoga College, University of Ottawa, Fanshawe College, University of Toronto etc.

Hello everyone is there anyone trying to apply for Nova Scotia community College or Holland college,

I want to study Architectural technology, I need advice or someone we can update together on this journey
You can comment or email davidtosin52@gmail.com

‍God bless you

Why a College Diploma when you've a degree ? This doesn't show career progression and as such the visa officer will have the impression that you're using study permit as a means to facilitate relocation to Canada rather than educational advancement - considering the cost of living and tuition in the aforementioned institutions.

Hello all
I got a refusal letter yesterday.

" I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee."

I used Mpower loan for sponsorship

What can I do to turn this around, I want to reapply?

I regret to hear that your visa application was refused by the Canadian immigration authorities. I can't conclude that the reason behind your refusal was as a result of the Mpower loan. However, the explanations you gave in support of how you intend to pay up this loan after studies in Canada matters alot to the processing officer. Any relevant job opportunities for you back home or are you depending on the Canadian job market to work and offset those bills?. On the other hand, what other sponsor did you declare in your application aside the Mpower? Did you include additional sponsor or the Mpower was your stand alone sponsor?

Provide answers to these questions, I'll be pleased to provide solutions to your failed application.

Good evening all.

Please is there anyone with information on how to get started with visit and work visa?

Kindly point me in the right direction, thank you.

It might interest you to know that visitor’s visa application takes a longer time to be processed if you don't have a family member in Canada. Work Permit requires you to secure a legitimate and verifiable job from a designated employer in Canada and it must first be determined if an LMIA is needed or if the position is LMIA-exempt before applying for a work permit. Often times, dubious individuals/agents have taken advantage of this immigration pathway, thereby assuring clients of guaranteed job offers. In summary, I will suggest you apply to relocate to Canada through the study permit route as this is the fastest route to Canada. More importantly, every information on how to secure a successful study permit from Nigeria can be obtained from this platform. I hope this information satisfies your enquiry.

Anyone of the two will fly, whether its in your name or in Mr & Mrs (co-owned). Its not all about including landed property documents, you should be able to demonstrate how these properties can motivate your departure after studies and how you plan to utilise them upon your return home.

Praise God!!!! What God cannot do does not exist.

Hi Everyone,

I am here to share my testimonial and also drop the timeline of my SOWP application which I already shared on the Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) thread but thought it wise to also come back here to share it as well since it all began here.
It hasn’t been an easy road but God finally completed His work and to Him I return all the glory.
This was my second SOWP visa application as I had put in my first application together with my wife’s first study permit application early 2021 and both applications got refused. We had initially retained the services of a very reputable IRCC registered consultant in Canada and spent so much for this service, so getting a refusal on both applications had taken us off balance. In that confusion and desperation for a quick solution, I had gotten online and discovered this Study Permit thread on Nairaland which I thoroughly read through for weeks and kept coming across a particular name with people singing his praises and how he helped transform their cases and refusals to approvals through his detailed touch “Frankrobb”, I took a leap of faith and reached out to him and I must confess, that was one of the greatest decisions I ever made. After consulting with him, we agreed my wife applied alone for her second study permit application and when she gets the visa and arrives Canada, I apply for my SOWP to join her which we did and here we are, all visas finally approved to the praises, glory and thanks to God almighty. I want to also use this medium to appreciate Mr Frank for his hard work and also being a blessing to my family’s application success, your cup will never run dry, men will favour you and come to your aid before you ask. Amen.

My timeline:

Application submitted on 9th May, 2022.

Biometric was from previous application and was updated on 11th May, 2022.

Did upfront medicals on 5th May, 2022 that was submitted with my application documents.

Medicals didn’t update until July 15th when I decided to disturb IRCC Nairobi and Abuja in July through emails and webforms.

PPR on yesterday, 29th August, 2022.

Documents submitted:

The basic IRCC forms from their website,
My SOP, My bank statement, Bank reference letter, Employment Appointment letters, My Bachelors and Masters Degree Certificates, Marriage certificate, Newspaper publication for wife’s change of name, Sworn Affidavit of wife’s name change, Trad and White wedding Pictures, family pictures with parents and siblings, COVID vaccination card, National ID Card, Upfront Medical Sheet, Old and new International Passport Biodata pages, Police Certificates (Nigeria and UK), NYSC Certificate, Passport Photo, WES Assessment, SSCE Certificate, Landed property documents, Car documents, Professional Certifications, Leave letter, Work ID card, Payslips for 6months, CV, Work Promotion letter, Birth certificate, past visa pages and stamps on my passport, wife’s study visa, wife’s study permit, wife’s admission letter, wife’s school ID card, wife’s enrollment letter, wife’s letters of Authorization and Invitation, wife’s passport bio data page, wife’s social insurance number(SIN) document, wife’s full tuition payment receipt.

I wish everyone here God’s favour and good luck and I do hope that this post encourages and gives fresh hope to someone on this journey because with God all things are possible.

Thanks all. Blessings

Congratulations @jimogh111 on the success of your SOWP application. We thank you for choosing and trusting us with your immigration matters, no matter the complexity. I expect to get my student visa soonest, but I will like to apply for my girlfriend under the common law, is this still possible? I heard it's late already but don't know how true, do I have to get the ppr first? My best advice for a situation like this, get married to her once you've your visa with you. Travel to Canada and apply for SOWP for her to accompany you, provide your marriage Certificate, wedding Photos and other related important documents to prove that you're legally married.

Good day please I need help, I have an HND and I was told that I can not used it to get admission for post graduate diploma, is that ture? I was also advice I should apply for a post graduate certificate, please house I want to find out if I apply for a post graduate certificate with my HND I'm I sure of getting the visa, have it work for anyone here in the house. I'm 35 years old. And what are the affordable school for the degree

Post Graduate Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma are same thing and same level of education, don't misinterpret both levels. Also, you certainly qualify to apply any of these with your HND certificate and transcript.

For affordable institution, you can check: Memorial University of Newfoundland and New Brunswick Community College.

Whenever you receive the mail from IRCC representative saying that "Your File is under active review". This implies that your file has progressed to the delegated decision maker's table who will review the entirety of the documents submitted in your application. After the evaluation process by this decision maker, the responsible immigration officer who is the primary officer in charge of your file at the Canadian consulate will be the one to communicate the final decision to you through your MyCIC account portal. Please don't misconstrue this email, thinking that a decision will be communicated to you within a shortest possible timeframe. It doesn't work that way in most cases I have seen.

I hope this satisfies your enquiry based on the aforementioned update you received on your application.

PS: This post is also applicable to passive viewers and future enquiries.

I am very grateful Frank, for your help. There is no way I could have done this on my own. Yes, I know this for sure after my second refusal. My profile was messed up, but Frank packaged it in such a way that I couldn't even recognize it was mine. If your application was refused, reach out to Frankrobbn1 of F and R Global (www.fandrglobal.com) and you'll be glad you did.

Special thanks to Bobomaigida, who came to my rescue when my bank refused to open a dollar account for me. I live in a university environment where a very large % of the youth are into internet fraud (yahoo yahoo). As a result, banks only open dollar accounts for lecturers. Any other person who tries to open a dom account will be seen as a yahoo boy, and denied. I came here to rant after my experience at the bank, and Bobomaigida stepped in. He emailed the branch on my behalf and the next day, I got my dollar account number. Thank you, sir. I will never forget this.

Thank you, RollyA for all your help. I don't know you from Adam, but you took special interest in my case. May God reward you abundantly. Thanks Anon123 for your help in ordering my second GCMS notes. To Ketima, Lekiboboe, Makano, and every other person whose ideas have been helpful to me in one way or the other, I say a BIG THANK YOU. To those awaiting PPRs, your wait shall not be in vein. To those whose applications were refused, never give up; keep improving on your application, and you will have the last laugh. When I got my first refusal, I said to myself, if this VO knew the kind of person he reviewed his application, he wouldn't have refused me, because I will continue disturbing them until I get an approval. I never give up on my dreams, and neither should you.

Cheers!

Congratulations Sir on the success of your application. It is our pleasure to have served you and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We wish you all the best in Canada. Cheers

I'm a pharmacist, fully licensed in Nigeria. I work as Senior Medical Representative with 4yrs work experience in a pharmaceutical company in Nigeria. Please advise what postgraduate course would be best suited for me with modest tuition.

I do not have have any assets in Nigeria or Investment but I've good bank balance. I would be grateful to hear from fellow pharmacist with similar profile who have traveled to Canada for PG Studies.

What was your undergraduate CGPA? If you had a 2.1 you can check University of Saskatchewan for MSc in Pharmacy or Master in Public Health. On the other hand, if you finished with a 2.2 you can check for some of the Health related courses such as PGC in Health Care Administration.

Good morning Guru's

Urgent!!
The company I work intends to arrange sponsorship by providing cheque to avoid lumps, sponsorship letter, study leave letter. Please I need advise on how possible it is, or opinions.

How long have you been working for this company? It actually matters to the Visa officer to know why your company is spending so much for you to attain an advanced education in Canada whilst there are similar cheaper options here in Nigeria. There must be rational explanation to support their financial declaration and a written legal binding between you and your employer. More importantly, a board resolution letter duly signed by the company's directors with her offical stamp and seal must suffice to authentic their financial sponsorship.

Even though Frank said it was nothing to worry about ,I was worried and he had no choice than to tell me to quickly submit a fixed deposit..

I submitted a fixed deposit cert via webform..medical request dropped 30 minutes after I had submitted the fixed certificate...I have no idea if it influenced it or not..Frank said it did not..I was gonna get medical request regardless...

Please does this include getting PR through PGWP Sir? IELTS requirement I mean.

Yes it is required that you must undertake an English proficiency test (IELTS or CELPIP) even after graduation in Canada to be qualified to apply for your Permanent Residency in Canada.

My application was handled by Mr Frank of F and R Global. When I wanted to start this process, I planned to use an agent from the get go because i wanted a smooth and successful application. My partner kept insisting on mr Frank, that she has read so many reviews on Nairaland and he’s the one she’ll work with.
So we contacted him and right from the first call until the final approval, I felt at ease. It was a smooth transition and as soon as all my docs he asked for were ready, he submitted immediately and did a few check-in with my partner (I have a tight schedule, so she was basically the point of contact).
There were some things we didn’t consider at first which I’m certain added to the successful approval of my study permit, Mr Frank brought a professional insight into this process.
Even after the approval, he has checked in to guide us on the appropriate steps to ensure my passport is stamped and my migration to Canada is smooth.
I highly recommend him, the whole process was a smooth one and approval was faster than expected.

Thank you @frankrobbn1 of F and R Global

Congratulations Sir! Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate you taking the time to write this review and for sharing your experience with our firm. We are pleased to have helped you navigate through this journey. Thank you for placing your trust in us. I wish you all the best in Canada!

Chiziteremary:
Good morning all.

Thanks to all who congratulated me. I would like to share my timeline and what i did differently in my 2nd application because i believe this will help someone.

1st Application was submitted 1st Dec 2021
Refusal was recvd 25/2/2022

From my gcm notes i discovered what i did wrong was the fact that i used my brother as additional sponsor. Even though i am self sponsor but i decided to add my brothers account for additional comfort which wasnt necessary after all. I already paid 16kcad for 1st year fees and had sufficient funds to take care of the 2nd year fees and my upkeep in my personal account. The VO's concern with my brothers account was that his payslips werent included and there were lumpsums in his account. Well for some reason my broda didnt want to give me statement of his salary account. He only gave me statement of a join account with his wife where he saves money ( he lives in the USA)

What i did differently

I never wanted to use an agent because of the cost implication and because i believed i could do it myself but i was led by the Holy spirit to use @Frankrobbin. So i decided to go ahead with him, the guy is quite professional i must say though he is so busy that you need to keep calling his attention.

The guy advised me to get professional valuation for my land and building which i did. He also advised that based on my age i shouldn't have bothered with a sponsor outside myself or hubby ( i am over 45yrs). In addition he rearranged all my documents and made them easier for the VO to see all because i had lots of documents.

I highly recommend Frank any day because he is very very professional. I didnt give him breathing space, i must confess that i wanted my application submitted fast fast because my school was meant to Start May 9th.

I also want to appreciate @Anon123, @NorthernshoreLS. NorthernshoreLS thanks a lot, you were the person to 1st advice me to use Frank even though i didnt want to initially. This forum is indeed full of wonderful brothers and sisters.

My prayer is that we shall all get our PPR's soonest in Jesus name.

Amen

Congratulations Ma'am on the success of your application . We thank you for choosing and trusting us with your immigration process. We work very hard to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients and ensure that they are satisfied with our services.
