sassy92: If you're going for winter you must show proof of enrollment extension to the embassy. Don't use a start date you cannot prove. Try and get the extension from your school before you book. As for date, depends on your school. Some schools will agree to extend while some won't. Some allow you to enrol by proxy ie. You don't need to be present to enrol. Once you're enrolled in a school, you're a student so you can resume anytime. Mail your school and find out if they can extend your enrolment or allow you to enrol by proxy. But the major thing is that don't book appointment with a start date you cannot prove.
3.32 cgpa is a 2:2 which means you book under Category B. In a situation where someone had already enrolled by proxy and the school sent your student ID card and enrollment document by post. But on your AL it was stated that the student should be present at the university on October 1st for matriculation. But your AD is 23rd October. Does the student still need to present extension letter to the embassy for interview. Since he already has his enrollment documents and student ID card. |

NijaDueprocess: . Since you are waiting for appointment date and you are yet to fund your block account you can try finish consulate because from what i was told by a friend who got the same admission last year, you can not use the admission letter for ConREM HTW Berlin for your German appointment (Since it is stated that the 1st year is in Finland and the 2nd year in Germany and your enrollment is online). Note: it is also stated that you have to get Finish Resident permit and you have to be in Finland latest by 1st October 2019 . You can call me on zero- eight-one-two-nine-seven-eight-zero-seven-five-two lets connect and find the best possible way out, because that has always been my dream course Thank you so much Boss... I will research more on this |

Kamps: I feel you Bro.. Your AL will drop soon..About that uni-assist Ehn.. I just received my own VPD yesterday but I sent my documents since 26th of April.. Guess they work on it the way we send our documents to them.. Just remain calm. You mean when they acknowledged the receipt of your documents was on 26th April or the day you sent it from Nigeria. |

Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Franksuka: 8:58pm On May 18, 2019 |
Philfit: If your documents get to uni assist before application deadline, you are safe. Hopefully Fedex would send it this week Then for visa interview, you are not late , you are still very early. Book for a date now tho, hopefully you’d get one in July or August beginning, by then your AL would have arrived. Opening of blocked account takes less than 2 days with fintiba provided you do it well (experts in the house would be ready to help when that time comes). You are not too late for DE this year, just try and get your applications in check .Bless! Are you saying that one can book appointment without AL |

3T: There's a form u need to download scan and attach to your application. Check from the course website on TU Dresden. Unfortunately there are two versions of the forms, one on uni-assit application a different one on the course's website according to the aptitude assessment regulation of February 27, 2018 and according to the aptitude assessment regulation of March 14, 2018. I advise u fill, scan and upload both copies Please my chairman... I applied to the same school although just forwarded my documents to uniasist...About this aptitude assessment regulation, I didn't see anything as such during my application... But according to what you said, I need to download, scan and attach it to my application.... I checked my course website (Advanced Computational and Civil Engineering Structural Studies (ACCESS) )... And I couldn't find "according to the aptitude assessment regulation of February 27, 2018 and according to the aptitude assessment regulation of March 14, 2018 " to download... Please as someone that has done it before can you just check and tell me the particular one to download... I will so much appreciate Boss...I await ur response. |

Sholsp: Hi@ dizzynet, nice experience you had in Ireland and this brings out the positivity about the prospects there.i tried messaging you but i think your permission is needed.i have also paid my 50% upfront for DIT, will like to know how flexible they are in respect to paying the balance.is there a strict timeline and how can i spread it to make it easy for me.tnx
I am sharing this to encourage someone.
About 15 months ago, I took the brave decision to travel abroad for better opportunities. Brave because I had a decent job as per naija standards but I was pretty stagnant and making no genuine progress in my career. I considered several countries but eventually settled for Ireland as it was less competitive than other countries and they offered graduates a genuine chance to get a job after graduation. I barely put enough money together for visa application, flights and 50% of the tuition. I came to study a Masters in Computing(Data Analytics) at DIT, I did not know much about the school but the deciding factor in picking it was that they allowed a 50% down payment of tuition for registration.
It was a very intense period while I studied, I was lucky to be get a part time job almost immediately after I arrived and it was extremely difficult juggling this with full time study especially as the masters degree was extremely packed. I did not need any extra motivation to dedicate my whole being to studying, this often meant I had to hang around all night in Starbucks, completing assignments and studying.
Now to the testimony, about 2 months ago I graduated and I actually had a job offer as an Analytics Consultant in a top Consulting Firm here in Dublin before I graduated. Now this is nothing but God's grace as I know for a fact it is not easy. On accepting the Job offer, the company wasted no time in preparing a critical skills work permit application(equivalent of green card) on my behalf which got approved about two weeks ago.
I used nairaland a lot when researching study destinations and putting together my visa papers so feel free to reach out to me if you require any information. Seriously... I will love to contact you via email |

Austacus: You mustn't show your company's account even if you're the main sponsor.
Your uncle should show some commitment by paying your tuition fee or transferring living expenses to you. He should submit an affidavit of support, sponsorship letter, Account statement and letter of reference and his CAC or any document that shows his source of income
Your finance is very good as you stand to co-sponsor yourself make sure you submit your CAC and other relevant documents that suffix your earn of living.
Make sure you show a very strong relationship between you and your uncle
Work more on your home tie, I will have to redirect you to this page cause the work is already done in the page.

Another question i have is this:
I graduated in 2015, started working with a construction company and was posted to the same company for my NYSC until i pass out in April 2017, i left the company and co-found my own construction company(with CAC and Tax registration) in May 2017.. I have been working as a Project Manager in my Company since that time till now...Although i have a company's account (sole signatory) but i never used it in running the company because i try to avert tax from FIRS, so i use my personal accout in during all the transactions with clients...The account has a total of 7.1m...
My question is how do i present this my personal account instead of my company's account during my application.
P.S: My maternal uncle(without the same surname) is my sponsor and is willing to give out $30k on my behalf as my Dad is dead.
What documents does my uncle need to provide to show he is willing to sponsor me?
Please my good people .... I need your advice |

Qudkom: Let me ease your worries, DLI (Designated Learning Institutes) are institutions that have been verified by the Canadian Government to allow international student enroll for their academic programs. It doesn't end there, you also get the chance to apply for post graduate work permit if you completed your studies from a DLI Institute. So you can 100% go ahead and submit your study application.
P.S: In the application form for your visa you have to type the Schools #DLI number. So if the school isn't a verified dli institute you would know. So stop getting your self worried. I wish you all the best. Thank you Qudkom for your concern...Your indeed a friend... |

Austacus: It is a small private for-profit university in Canada located in Vancouver BC (that's what they call it online) lol
I know you must be scared of the reviews and complaints you've seen online about UCW
The thing is that, UCW is a recognized school in CIC (DLI) and it also eligible for pgwp (that's another good news). You just go ahead and apply for your visa you have nothing to worry about.
When you get your Visa you would definitely see Nigerians in this thread https://www.nairaland.com/4933819/living-canada-life-canadian-immigrant/91#76840296 Or even in this student thread
Good luck. Thank you so much Austacus....You have really calm down my nerves....I so much appreciate your response...Can i still send you a PM? |
