IzRayl: Everybody blaming the drivers, did you guys not read about the RRS vehicle been on their dedicated brt lane which lead to the buses trying to avoid it and heading into collision.......what the Bleep is the RRS vehicle doing in a brt lane (that is narrow) It's a big indictment of our reading culture in this country. People just read the topic and jump right into comment box, before coming back to view pics....at no time will they bother to actually READ! the post, makes for a lot of irritating comments that make you want to slap someone |

You people obviously don't read....it's obviously stated that the accident was due to the RRS vehicle parked in their dedicated lane. The fact that the accident wasn't fatal is an indication of the drivers' professionalism. |

plaindealer: Well, it is obvious that they are not interested in anything in Nigeria regardless of Obi contesting or their overnight love to save Nigeria because you cannot say you love Nigeria but are always 100% against Nigeria and other Nigerians.
To make matters worse, there are no sane and rational voices in that region, they are all facing the same negative, bitter, hateful, anti-Nigerians and anti-Nigeria path, even the supposedly educated ones like Oby Ezekwesili and Peter Obi himself.
Obviously, deep down in their heart, they don't want to have anything to do with Nigeria, they hate Nigeria and they don't wish Nigeria well, hopefully, one day, Nigeria will let them go, I hope and pray that day comes. When has Oni demonstrated any anti-Nigeria tendency? He was the one that calmed his supporters down after the election to let peace reign so how exactly did you come up with this? |

NSNO: I like your attitude. We are trying to tackle the elephant in the room. I supported and voted for Obi because I felt he would have the boldness to take the hard decisions our economy desperately needs. I felt Tinubu and atiku will not be able to do anything because they are benefiting from the system but Tinubu is taking the exact decisions I expected Obi to take. You will agree with me that Nigeria's economy is bad, very bad and if we don't want Sri Lanka to happen to us, hard decisions need to be made. Tinubu is making them, he has not fully convinced me but he is doing much better than I anticipated. Thanks. We all agree the subsidy had to go and i believe any one of the aspirants that won would have removed the subsidy, maybe not as quickly and shoddy as Tinubu did his. Tinubu's lack of foresight in the fx debacle has put us in a very bad state, his lack of proper planning for subsidy removal also has worsened the economy. Any honest scoring of this government will be an excellent failure, so once again I ask, why do you believe things will get better soon? |
Business › Re: Floating Naira: Importers Abandon Tokunbo Cars At Seaport by franugo(m): 5:56am On Sep 29, 2023 |
NSNO: I don't support Tinubu but floating the naira and removing subsidy was the best thing to do. Alot of Nigerians don't understand how bad our economy is, they think its just to build roads and start farming etc. Nigeria's economy needs a complete overhaul and the measures taken yet are just the beginning. More hardship is on the way but like the saying the darkest hour is just before dawn, Nigeria's dawn is almost here, we just have to endure the darkness a little longer. Firstly, the naira was not really floated against the dollar, they just pegged it at the current dollar rate at the time which alleviated the pressure on the naira at the time, but like some of us were advising then, it doesn't really solve the issue of fx unavailability long term as we see now with the black market rate rocketing to over 1,000. Secondly, what exactly is being done that makes you believe that the darkness is almost over? I'm not gunning for a fight honestly, just really curious |

Shebi UBA dey work as bank account for the 6 different platforms wey I dey work with?
These issues would not exist if the banking system in this country was more favorable to us that work in these conditions I'm confused...what exactly stopped you from opening uba dollar account and use that for your inflow? |

I'm very sure it was the arrested guy that posted the news online. But the owner of the website and news outlet is not hidden...neither is the culprit's statement that he was never invited. LegacyB: We need to look at other areas apart from the federal government all the time. We need to extend our search to local government, state governments, unions , churches , mosques, village head, councilors etc. Those guys are actually hurting us more if we look deeper. How do you explain a common student union president embezzling so much that it runs into millions of Naira . Those in NLC is even mind boggling( they have no form of accountability at all)Yet those ones say they are freedom fighters. Isn’t that more insult to us as a people? Am not in anyway excusing an ineffective govt we have at present and in the past . But we need to separate Paul from Barnabas. True that...or how do you explain MMM, Baraza ponzi giving billions of naira to christ embassy, so much so that Maxwell Odum was given accolades by the church, smells like a money laundering scheme to me. It's a smart move tho as the ponzi culprits realize that churches aren't held accountable in this country |

That could truly be my guilt. But I assure you I know far more than am saying here . If only the civil movement and Labour wasn’t compromised. Nigeria would have gotten it right faster. What these guys do is more terrible than the government they criticize. For example just attend one of their elections probably you would understand better a bit. I agree that we have not gotten things right in any way in this country....do have a lovely Sunday. |

LegacyB: What has his opinions on National issues amounted to? He is only a noise maker without substance. That’s my opinion too though , talking about opinion. I mean we have government to contend with as if that’s not enough. We also have a weak Labour front , greedy activists , come and raids calling themselves comrade. Maybe they can learn from South Africa. You're still not getting my point bro, you just stated your opinion and no one castigated you for it. The only reason your opinion isn't plastered on news outlets is that you don't have a high profile, Falana does. You are guilty of whatever you say he's guilty of. We should stop villifying people for having opinions, if you think it's wrong, then present a better argument not to tell them to shut their mouths. |
