majamajic: u have concluded, I laugh u
am giving u hint only , remember what u said
u said when money finish , u will wait for money to finish before u start hustling ?
UAE has 5% vat on everything u buy , including bottle water , so it's not that tax free Finally you've come to your senses to mention "hustle". Young man, you don't know me, and me likewise. So, I'm not interested in your little mindset of judging, conclusion, assumption or ppl you've seen or where you've moved to. You mention 550k will take sb to UAE, I'm asking you what next after you get there because some ppl got there without working plan ahead and fall do dirty jobs, some got stranded, others got picked up et all. Except the 550k is inclusive of everything needed to get a temporary genuine job while you search for a hustle then it is genuine. Savvy? I believe there should be a plan before moving to another man's land. PS: Home and Abroad is for me. |

No matter how experienced and professional you are in naija when you get to the western world, your experience will not be recognized (except you are going with I.T. certification which is globally accepted) When i got to U.K. i realized that U.K. driving license will provide you job than Masters degree from Naija, Exactly. TONY56: Just get into the bank and ask for the officer in charge on Treasury Bills.
If it's the Primary market you want to invest in, tell him to give you the form for investment in Treasury Bills for the next aution.
You will fill in your account number, the date of the auction you want to invest in, the amount you want to invest (this must be in your first bank account already), the tenor you want ((either 91days, 182days or 364days tenor) & indicate or thick if you want your upfront interest to be re-invested or not.
Then sign at the appropriate place with date and hand the firm back to the officer.
CHIKENA!!! Thank you. Thank you.. Thank you. This is so helpful. God bless you. |

TONY56: Pls state whatever advice you need here so that many others too can learn or gain from it as that will save the trouble of having to give same advice or explanations all over again. But I also think that you should take the advice of taking the "pain" of going through this thread from page 0 for better understanding as ALL the advice and questions you may be seeking have been dealt with SEVERALLY by many knowledgeable members of this forum. I hope you will understand and not think that I am bluffing. Thank you. I understand. I um... I planned on visiting another branch of First Bank in my area for the TB investment. As a newbie, I'm faced with how to go about it without appearing too "jjc-like" to the officer. And also I'll like to know what and what I'll likely fill or take with me. I just need your knowledgeable direction or more. Thanks. |

Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Fratello(m): 2:00pm On Sep 01, 2017 |
TONY56: Eh yah!!! Sorry o. Your "Banker" i.e your account office has played a fast one on you for your ignorance.
He has no justifiable reason not to process your request especially IF you had the funds in your account on or before last Monday.and IF your request was for the Primary Market and not Secondary Market.
Did you fill the form for the Treasury Bill indicating that it was for 30th August 2017 auction and signed?
IF you did not, then he capitalized on that and did not ask you to do so because he needed your money to remain in your account to boost his target for the month and IF you did, he is not happy that you want to do Treasury Bills as that does not pay him (you can report him to their head office for this i. e if you filled the form). He needed to have your money in your account or invested in a Fixed Deposit.
I don't think there's any Treasury Bill Auction slated for next week as Treasury bills at the Primary Market takes place every fortnight , so he is likely to have lied to you that he will do it on 5th September 2017 EXCEPT if its for the Secondary Market which can be done everyday that it's available and not necessarily on any particular day or date.
One thing you should know is that once you do Treasury Bills, the money leaves the custody of your bank to the CBN, and the bank can't trade with it again-so they are not happy and could do anything to frustrate it.
WAY OUT I have advised people, especially newbies not to ever go through their accounts officers to do Treasury Bills. Better still, go to a different branch of your bank and simply walk in and ask for the officer in charge of Treasury Bills for that branch, be very confident before him or her not to give any impression that you don't really know what you want. Then tell the TB officer that you need a form for the next Primary Market Treasury Bills, fill the forms, sign and submit.
If what you want is the Secondary Market, walk into ANY branch of your bank and tell the TB officer that you want to know the available rates for Treasury Bills and tenors for that day and moment, and it will be made available to you through their online system and choose the one you like, after which you get the form fill, and sign.
It's because of these happenings that I always advice newbies to take the pain and time to go through the threads on this forum from the beginning to familiarise themselves with how to go about it and avoid the tricks usually employed by the bankers, but some people say it's not necessary to go through from the beginning.
I have deliberately written an "EPISTLE" to explain to you so that others like you can really understand and benefit and i hope you fully understand the nitty-gritty of it all now? . Hello Sire, an official newbie to TB. I'll need your advice on it but iono if I get your whatsapp contact for more direct conversations. Thanks. |

Celebrities › Re: How Tiwa Savage Implicated Herself Should Anything Happen To Teebillz by Fratello(m): 4:29pm On May 01, 2016 |
KingOfAmebo: We may likely not have seen the end to the ongoing saga between these celebrity couples, more revelation and counter accusations will follow...it's gonna get messy in the next couple of days, Now the police are involved, NDLEA, the EFCC and sadly their poor child will be reading all their outbust online later in the near future.
Their wedding broke the Internet so is their break up.
So how did Tiwa Savage implicate herself?
-You and I never knew TeeBillz is a drug addict until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including the NDLEA...she confirmed seeing him sniff Cocaine in their kitchen.
-You and I never knew TeeBillz was promiscuous until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including human rights activists and his future wife (if any)
-You and I never knew TeeBillz is a fraudster until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including the Police, ICPC and EFCC, Now Buhari is aware.
-You and I never knew TeeBillz is in great debt until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including his business partners, nobody likes to do business with a chronic debtor.
Tiwa Savage just killed a man.
Yet she came crying to the world that she loved her husband and she will always pray for him not to get hurt...well, can somebody tell her that she did not only hurt that man, she put a bullet through his head, killed him and checked if he is still breathing then kissed him saying 'I love you babe'
According to Tiwa "If there is anything that maybe I overlooked, or didn’t love him enough, or made him less of a man, then I am sorry. I am absolutely sorry…Tunji I am sorry. But you know I tried everything, you know I love you so much, and I am sorry, I never wanted to divorce, and I never wanted it to get to this. I want you to get better…and I would always pray for you."
What she said was a typical example of "wen rat dey chop your leg e go dey blow you breeze make you for nor know until e go almost chop the leg finish"
Should any thing happen to Teebillz, Tiwa Savage would have a case to answer. - SMH. Abeg, just STFU. Real men dont take sides. Learn to be be neutral with whatever your views are and stop looking only at TIWA' "heartbreaking revelations or whatever." It'll help you, your marriage as well. Mtchew bloody Nlander. Mtcheew weakhead men, always using every opportunity to fault-blame a woman. - :p |
