NAIJA PEOPLE BEWARE:One day, a man was sitting in his office on the 19th floor of a building when a man came running in to his office and shouted, "John, your daughter, Anna just died in an accident right opposite this building".

The gentleman was in panic. Not knowing what to do, he jumped out through his office window. While coming down, when he was near the 14th floor, he remembered he does not have a daughter named Anna. When he was near the 7th floor, he remembered he was not married yet. When he was about to hit the ground, he remembered he was not John!

This is what stress does. Take things easy and relax as much as you can. It is not all about Work! Work!! Work!!!
BusinessRe: Listening To Sanusi, I Am Proud To Be A Nigerian! by Frazy(f): 7:41pm On Jul 27, 2011
^^^
PhysicsQED:
Sanusi is always impressive when he talks. He went to the U.S. and he impressed the hell out of those he met with. Despite how sharp he is in verbal intelligence, the only issue is whether his decisions with respect to the Nigerian economy and polity are really wise. Wasn't he even suggesting that the CBN invest in hotels or agriculture (or something like that) a while back ?

Concerning him becoming the next president, the man is clearly a bigot. There's no way he'd win votes outside of the north and he'd probably even have some difficulty in the Middle Belt, where he might be seen as a (core) Northern supremacist.
Well said uncle.

Music/RadioRe: Amy Winehouse Is Dead by Frazy(f): 7:57pm On Jul 24, 2011
Whether this tragedy was preventable or not is now irrelevant.

It is not preventable today. We have lost a beautiful and talented woman to this disease. Not all addicts have Amy's incredible talent. All we can do is adapt the way we view this condition, not as a crime or a romantic affectation but as a disease that will kill.
And one that, from all indications, murdered her art five years before it took her life.
Music/RadioRe: Amy Winehouse Is Dead by Frazy(f): 4:40pm On Jul 24, 2011
I have watched the world crumble before my eyes. The world is angry, all due to economic conditions and the stress of living too fast, too hard, too selfishly, for too long. There is no respect for one another. Road rage, spousal abuse, drug and alcohol abuse are all expressions of that anger and stress.

I hear young women using the f'bomb in every third sentence. This was unheard during our parent time. Women had a measure of self respect which made men desire them.

I see many young people who do not treat elders with respect yet they demand to be taken seriously as adults and demand respect for their ideas, opinions, and lifestyles.

You can add singer Amy Winehouse to the list of young people who died tragically mainly because she was a product of today's world.

Nairaland General9 Things I Hate About Everyone by Frazy(op): 12:32am On Jul 11, 2011
9 Things I Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time, I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?", Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hellhuh Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus came, would I be standing herehuh

Before you can grow up, you must fall in love three times. Once, you must fall in love with your bestfriend, ruining your friendship forever. This will teach you who your true friends are, and the fine line between friendship and more. Once you must fall in love with someone you believe is perfect. You will learn that no one is perfect, and that you should never be treated as anything less than you deserve. And once, you must fall in love with someone that is exactly like you. This will teach you about who you are, and who you want to be. And when you’re through with all that, you learn that the people who care about you the most are the ones that you hurt, and the ones that hurt you are the ones that needed you the most. But most of all, you learn that love is only a concept and is not something that can be defined

RomanceI Thought I Could Change Him But I Was Wrong. by Frazy(op): 8:30am On Jul 03, 2011
My last boyfriend was a total player before we got together. I thought I could change him but I was wrong. I always heard rumors that he was seeing other girls while we were dating, but he always denied it. One night, I got a call from a girl he had been secretly dating, and she detailed their three-month-long relationship to me and told me about another girl she had discovered he was seeing as well. I was so mad that I went out with my friends that night, dressed to kill, and spent time with the most attractive guy; I felt like it was the least he deserved! I loved seeing the look on his face when I told him about what I did and that I knew about the other girls. And then I dumped him.

He is now going crazy and begging for another chance.

What should i do? Should i give him another chance?
FamilyRe: Why Do Men Cheat ( Strictry For Females) by Frazy(f): 9:54am On Jun 25, 2011
Men cheat on their wives for many different reasons. Below is a list I’ve come up with that will help explain, to some extent why men cheat.

1.They are addicted to sex.

2.Low self-esteem and the need of attention from other women.

3.Some men cheat for the sake of cheating. It is a game to them and one they figure they might as well play as long as they can get away with it.

4.Some men need to feel that “in love” feeling. Once the marriage becomes comfortable they go looking for the excitement of new love and lust.

5.They grew up watching their fathers cheat and have an ingrained belief that cheating is just something men do.

6.They cheat when their marriages are in trouble. If they aren’t getting what they want and need from their wife they find someone to take over her role. It is so much easier than dealing with the problems in their marriages.

7.Some men cheat to punish their wives. What better way to hurt someone who has hurt you than to replace them intimately?

8.Believe it or not, some men cheat accidentally. They don’t go out looking for an affair but get caught up in the moment and before they know it they are in over their heads.

I’m sure the list of reasons men cheat is as long as my arm. The only way to know why a man has cheated is to get into his mind and that is impossible. Many out there, more than likely, do not understand their own motives for cheating. Whatever the reason the consequences of an affair are always negative and the harm it does to a marriage can be irreparable.

why havent you told your brothers and sisters about it yet? why do you protect this insane guy so much?!
your desperation to be in a r/ship will be your downfall, if you aint careful.
the sad fact is that this man DOES NOT LOVE YOU, he cant possibly love you by treating you this way. you show him love, affection etc and yet, he treats you wrong, belittles you, hurts you emotionally and threatens you. is that love in your world?

there are many ways to go about in leaving such a man:
FIRST i suggest you let EVERYBODY knows what you have been going through. . . . . . .  meaning your parents, your brothers/sisters, close friends etc
SECOND you have to let that man know that you will NO LONGER follow what he says, and would rather do what YOU wish to do.
THIRD
you should at the same time tell him that if he really cares for you, he should allow you to be yourself as any caring loving person would.
FOURTH you should advise this man that he needs professional help in finding what seem to be HIS problems. the first step being to accept that he has a problem.
FIFTH if he makes any threats to you, simply tell your bros to pay him a visit. a few broken bones could also help in these difficult times!
SIXTH move on with your happy life while learning a great lesson: ANYONE WHO DOESNT ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE, DOESNT DESERVE YOU!
Thanks indeed Mr Brown Jay. I have heard all you said, i will try my best to handle the situation. I will all keep you informed of happenings.

He knows you are fearful of him, which is why he uses threats, Until you learn to stand up for yourself and stop been fearful, your going to continue living in this cycle, Only you and you alone can break this cycle, Have you got brothers, ask them to give him a good hiding, But if you continue with him, you are allowing him to control you, and god knows then what will happen, Speak to your parents,
xxcarolxx, thank for all the encouraging words. I will muster up some courage and tell my parents. Yes i have brothers and sisters, but nobody knows about this.

I also think he might be stalking me, even though i have not seen him doing that. My gut feeling is telling this.

FEAR is what this guy is using to control you, it is wrong and the earlier you stop this ONE SIDED r/ship, the best it will be for you or anyone involved.

what next is he gonna tell you?! have sex with animals or i kill you? murder people or i kill you? jump from a bridge or i kill you?

NONSENSE!!!!
Yeah, you might be right. But, how do i go about it?

The last time i threaten to cut off the relationship, he couldn't stop calling and coming to my family home without notice. I decided to go back to him and we mend things up and continue . I thought he was gonna stop, but it got worst. Now i don't know what to do, coz, he is using threat to stop me from taking decision. And i am afraid is capable of doing the things he says.
