FamilyRe: Are Married Men More Responsible Than Single Men? by Frazy(f): 9:06am On Sep 23, 2011
A single woman may be attracted to a married man since she feels that if another smart and good-looking woman has already chosen this man, then he must be special in some way or other.

Contemporary society is hugely permissive when it comes to sexual relationships between partners who are not yet married. But the relationship between a single woman and a married man is still to get open social sanction. This perhaps makes the relationship that much more appealing for a single woman. She may find the whole routine of being secretive, going for clandestine meetings and quick sexual episodes a huge turn-on as compare to the much tamer dates with a single man.

But logic would dictate that if a married  man can be poached, he isn’t very committed at all. It shows gross irresponsibility on his part.

CrimeThief Who Swallowed Diamond Is Caught On X-ray by Frazy(op): 8:51pm On Sep 14, 2011
A thief in Spain who stole a diamond from a British woman -- and then swallowed it -- was caught when police stopped him at a checkpoint and forced him to undergo an X-ray.

The theft occurred when two British women entered a restaurant in the luxury southern resort of Marbella and one of them left her handbag on the floor by her chair, police said in a statement.

"Two well-dressed men came in, one sitting at the bar and the other next to the woman," it said.

When the men left, the woman discovered that her handbag, containing 2,000 euros and 400 pounds sterling, a mobile phone, a pendant with a diamond worth 12,000 euros ($16,500) and other valuables, had disappeared.

Hours later, police stopped a car at a routine checkpoint and found the four occupants had criminal records.
Inside the vehicle they also discovered a handbag as well as valuables and cash, which they later identified as belonging to the British woman.
All that was missing was the diamond.

"During the operation, officers noticed one of the men putting his hand to his mouth," police said.
"This gesture and the fact that they had found the pendant without the diamond made the police think he may have swallowed it.

"To find the stone, those arrested were taken to a medical center where they underwent X-rays, and the diamond was located inside the stomach of one of them, who admitted swallowing it."

RomanceShe Calls Her Ex-boyfriend 65,000 Times!!! by Frazy(op): 7:50pm On Sep 08, 2011
AMSTERDAM (AP) — Dutch prosecutors are charging a 42-year-old woman with stalking after she allegedly called her ex-boyfriend 65,000 times in the past year.
The 62-year-old victim from The Hague filed a police complaint in August due to the persistent phone calls. Police arrested the suspected stalker Monday, seizing several cell phones and computers from her home in Rotterdam.

Hague prosecution spokeswoman Nicolette Stoel said Thursday the woman argued to judges at a preliminary hearing she had a relationship with the man and the number of calls she placed to him wasn't excessive. The man denied they had a relationship.
The court ordered her not to contact him again.

CrimeFour Nigerians Saved From Being Hanged In Malaysia by Frazy(op): 10:27pm On Sep 05, 2011
Lucky! Four Nigerians Saved From Malaysia's Hangman's Noose. See Pics.

http://odili.net/news/source/2011/sep/4/310.html

Like the biblical injunction which states that 'the wages of sin is death', in Malaysia, the punishment for trafficking in hard drugs is outright death by hanging; no appeal!

Curiously, four Nigerians, Messrs Ugochukwu Emmanuel Innocent, Udeh Innocent Chukwuemeka, Olisa Kelvin Chukwuka and Mgbeajuo Alex Chigozie, perhaps, out of sheer greed or ignorance, would have added to the numbers of persons executed by hanging in the Asian country for allegedly trafficking in hard drugs.

The suspects were rounded up at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos recently having been profiled to have ingested substances that tested positive for amphetamine weighing 5.715kgs.

Ugochukwu Emmanuel who travelled with a Nigerian passport bearing Gaye Jerry, 33, wanted to board an Ethiopian Airways flight when he was found to have concealed 600 grammes of Methamphetamine in the metal handle of his luggage while Udeh Innocent Chukwuemeka, 36, hid 2kgs of similar drug in a false compartment of his bag during the screening of Qatar Airways flight.

Olisah Kelvin Chukwuka, 26, who was caught during the screening of passengers on an Egypt Air flight, ingested 1.300kg while Mgbeajuo Alex Chigozie, 31, who attempted to board an Emirate Airline, swallowed 1.815kg of Methamphetamine. All four suspects were destined for Malaysia.

Chairman of NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade while reacting to the degree of involvement of Nigerian youths in drug deals urged the youths to join the anti-drug campaigns and make the world a drug -free place.

The drug czar said, "While we celebrate the prevention of these four suspects from premature death, members of the public, particularly the youths, must make frantic efforts individually to resist drug trafficking.

Another worrisome dimension is the number of Nigerians like Gaye Jerry with foreign passports and hidden identities who are on death roll in other countries. Everybody must be actively involved in this campaign."

Sources at NDLEA intimated Crime Guard that Gaye Jerry, a native of Imo State but resides in Lagos, concealed 600 grammes in the metal handle of his luggage. The bag contained foodstuff meant to distract attention, still the drug was discovered during routine search at the luggage check desk.

Gaye, a trader who sells clothes, lived in Gambia between 2000 and 2004. Like Gaye, Udeh Innocent Chukwuemeka who is a student in Malaysia, concealed 2kgs of methamphetamine in his bag. Udeh is studying English at Edutran College at Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.

During interrogation, he confessed that he took the risk to improve his financial status. "I got involved in drug trafficking because I need money. I am an English language student in Malaysia.

After my primary school at Central School, Nnobi, I was admitted at Madonna Commercial School also in Nnobi but I stopped in class two due to lack of fund. I also worked as a commercial motorcyclist and taxi driver in Abia State before I travelled to Malaysia in search of greener pastures. I regret my involvement," he lamented.

FamilyRe: I Get Worried About Growing Old by Frazy(f): 10:05pm On Sep 05, 2011
Getting older doesn't sound so bad at this point---right now, I'm 20something, broke, buried in student debt, trying to navigate relationships and life and work and politics and all sorts of complicated crap. It makes me feel ignorant, lost. If I were older, I'd have experience to draw on, know more people I might be able to ask for help or guidance, have younger people to teach the lessons I've already learned, and that all sounds good.

TV/MoviesRe: Karen's Victory Shows Resilience Of Nigerian Youths - Minister by Frazy(f): 11:03am On Aug 05, 2011
yd849ja:
I wonder what all the fuss is about the guys statement, karen (character) in question and the show itself.

All I can say and see here is hypocrisy: a typical and synonymous syndrome with an average Nigerian.
We have on the average the highest numbers of churches and mosques goers all put together compare to most countries of the world and still we are the most corrupt, morally bankrupt, ill-mannered, selfish, intolerant, self righteous religious bigots who only get righteous for the sake of it.

Comparing this girl to an armed robber, 419 etc is ill-informed, unfounded and above all insensitive and unscrupulous of you all because she won  a reality show rated 18 which I'm very sure makes no sense to all you saints and I guess non of you were forced to watch it anyway. It was not a contest for church and mosque goers neither was it for the geeks nor was it a JETS show.

Why must everything be about morals that is actually non-existent in this country anyway not that I subscribe to immorality but why can't we let people be who they want to be and bear the consequence of their actions like the Bible and the Quran thought us all and stop passing judgement over people.

She won $200 000 and I can tell you it was hard earned and she deserves it. Let her be she's a Nigerian youth, she doesn't claim holiness like some of you that we know and if by any chance she comes to your churches to give her tithe tell your pastors not to take it. PSYCHOS!!!
