Na so i see am o... MTN don change am to E5573cs-322, had to take pictures sef. It supports the same bands as the 320 and looks the same, i prefer the black colour though cos that white 320 too dey carry dirty.

One point worth noting is that it doesn't have a antenna (TS9) connector like the 320, i already ordered the antenna from Ali so it can boost my reception, and its different on the inside too (Boot shot things). I'm still working my way through unlocking it as the thing no just gree downgrade, e be like say MTN tight on this one wella.

So, I decided to risk and see what happens. Here is what I did. Mind you, I did this on an 606.

I opened this zipped file of Huawei E5573s-606 firmware v21.110.99.03.00, and extracted only the firmware file alone to a folder, leaving the bin files out. Then I also opened the Huawei E5573s-320_firmware v21.180.17.00.00, and extracted only the firmware file to a folder, leaving out the bin files too.

Now, I flashed the above 606 firmware file first. Then after a successful flash, then I flashed the Russian Web ui, and then I flashed the 320 firmware, and everything went fine.

E no simple pass that o... Daz all

Your method old. Its not all 21.110 that can downgrade the firmware. I noticed it when trying to install the Russian ui. I had to use a special 21.110 actually meant for E5573bs ( E5573Bs-320_Update_21.110.99.01.00_nv01.rar) before the downgrade went through. Also It's not the boot shot that wipes the nvram rather it's the usbloader u use on balong tool that does. If u use the usblsafe.bin on balong tool, ur nvram won't be wiped

I don't believe there is a special 21.110 firmware, there is a generic 21.200 firmware you can always use to downgrade. The koko is sha to downgrade first

Boot shot is not complete without loading a USB.bin file, so I mean after the process everything gets wiped. I've tried like two other USB loaders on the mifi and it always wipe it.

If you can avail us of the USB loader file you used, I'll appreciate

When I'm less busy I'll put up a comprehensive tutorial on how to effective unlock the MTN mifi without wiping your imei, serial number and web UI (definitely not today). But I can confirm that MTN ui is useless. The best web UI is the Russian web UI which was uploaded above.

I'll love to see this, I'll already compiled the tutorial with screen shots to a pdf, all files uploaded to my drive but my method wipes all the info and you have to write it back. I'm enjoying the Russian web ui and I don't get why they are having issues with it,I've had feedback from three other guys on this thread and it works perfectly

Same happened to me, but i wanted to see it to the end and went ahead to downgrade to the firmware 21.110 Bleep, bros na him wahala start oh. The mifi just stuck to just the network indicator being on, everything i did was zero, so i had to boot shot again and reinstall the former firmware 21.180 Bleep and reflashed the iranian webui; only to find out that my imei had wiped off to 000000000000000, so i had to use putty to rewrite it back to the mifi.

so that's how we rolled.....lol, it was kindda fun sha

Lol... I'm still suprised at the wahala you have gone through. Flashing 21.110 on Amy mifi will put it in a factory mode, the lights will be on stable. It'll allow you to do any upgrade, write imei or serial number to the modem using DC unlocker . I see your tools are different, that's where the conflict may have been.

You definitely didn't have to boot shot, the process wipes the nvram, so either or all imei, serial number and web ui is wiped. What you will do is write the values in hex using the NVR command in DC unlocker and install any web ui you want to use. Afterwards, upgrade with 21.180 or 21.316 and your mifi goes back to normal with all the changes intact.

That's weird, I don install am on over 10 mifi. It's an higher version to the Iran web ui, so upgrade should be straightforward. You can try to downgrade firmware to 21.110, flash the web UI and upgrade back to 21.180 or 21.316.

Just regular flashing. no need to boot shot.

Depends on what firmware is on the mifi, if it's 21.180, just flash but if it's 21.316, boot shot

Depends on the Web UI version on the mifi too, if it's lower than the one you plan to flash, just flash. If it's lower, you'll have to downgrade firmware to 21.110 first, install the web UI and upgrade back to 21.180 or 21.316

From the video from hassan I see it's possible to write and customize the webui of choice and then flash it to ur device. Could any of the guys collecting tokens to unlock mifis do us all a favor and take up the challenge to write a webui specific for all naija networks with their recharge and bundle codes embedded and the options for USSD and "only" inclusive.

That way I can pay for the unlock procedure without blinking and eyelid abi wetin una think Lol........

I've tried recompiling the Web UI but it's always broken and I can't get it to install.

I've gone through all Sallu's files, videos and tools, the simplest way will have been to get the Huawei Hisilicon firmware writer to work but it requires a flashing box/dongle and a working DC unlocker account.

Since you didn't loose the mtn web UI, you're good to go. Other users still get work to do finding a UI with the ability to set network modes. (Hint:RU) If USSD works through the shortcut menu in Huawei Android app, you can recharge, subscribe and check balance

The task ahead for me is to get a way to extract the mtn web UI from a locked mifi, pending that time you can download MyMtn app or Airtel care to your phone to manage other sim functionalities if you use those networks for browsing

I tried this earlier on MTN 4G dashboard before asking him... But realized after changing to manual it failed to respond and nothing comes up.
I'll just try again to see what here the problem is coming from.

It works for honsule cos network is good at his side, we all know of these networks dey location dependent. This is a lasting solution and it works by editing the web UI software.

Everything with the mtn mifi no be simple ish

You can't get past error 19 on the 320 with regular double click to install firmware. I may have to do it remotely from my side given you have a pc and a reliable Internet connection.
