Interesting point, Krucifax, however I maintain that antibiotics could not have been created from scratch by a single person but need previous research, discoveries and inventions to enable their development. Therefore, writing is most important as it enables everything that followed.

Writing is mankinds greatest invention. It allowed all other inventions to be recorded so that later people were able to build on previous work rather than start all over again, and so enabled the invention of ever more complex items based on simpler ones.
